Ricardo Munoz Izquierdo

Visual Artist, born in Pereira, Colombia (1985) Parallel to his professional studies in Art, he has adressed completed several personal projects; has obtained grants for some of these projects through the Ministry of Cultur of Colombia and varios other institutions. Drawing has been the main discipline throughout the majority of his work, carrying out this discipline out through different forms of media such as paper, video, performance, and animation. Addressing memory as the main thematic vehicle, in which horror and the sinister "cobran vida" as aesthetic categories present in his reflections. He currently resides in both Pereira and Bogota.
