FOUNDER'S NOTE
Towards Green Solutions The SDG Tech Awards aims to discover, showcase and promote sustainable technologies that are supporting the green transition to a more sustainable future. This is a book of amazing solutions born in Denmark for the benefit of the world! Our Awards include research – startups – companies – non-profit organizations – corporations – and more. This diverse range of initiatives is what makes the SDG Tech Awards unique as it gathers all stakeholders in one place. By promoting the promising and existing sustainable solutions, we aim to create awareness on one side and inspirations for others to join the sustainable transition on the other. We are extremely happy for the incredible response that we have witnessed and we look forward to telling more good stories to a broader audience, because storytelling is important in mobilizing a sustainable movement. I am therefore very happy to invite you to read the stories of real solutions. We will be happy to match and connect you to these incredible game changers.

I was excited to meet you all in person, however, this year's SDG Tech Awards was different than anticipated. We had to postpone not once, but twice because of COVID-19, and the event ended up being mostly online. We worried that we couldn’t do what we love most with this event: bringing people together. However, it was an honor to meet the industry leaders and inspirational sustainability trailblazers I did, and I am proud of the impact we made together. The SDG Tech Awards created an amazing atmosphere, both online and at the event. We saw so much support and connections made; the Danish sustainability ecosystem is truly awesome! Thank you very much to all of you for your engagement, and a special thank you to my brilliant team, without whom, the event couldn’t have run. And a big congratulations to all the winners, I hope this award gives your team the boost you need to continue innovating sustainable solutions!

SDG TECH AWARDS SUMMARY
Conclusions
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there have been many challenges for stakeholders to meet, share knowledge, and make their results visible - an essential part of a successful green transition. However, the SDG Tech Awards’ success showed clearly that there is a great need for stakeholders to showcase their efforts, goals, and results. We were able to bring together actors from different industries, engaging more than 500 companies, organizations, networks, research and start-ups, together to establish the largest ecosystem in Denmark within Sustainability.
The trophies, designed by a local Danish artist, have a circular concept so the winners of this year will present them to the future winners. 37 SDG Tech Awards
