Acknowledgments To be honest I am not sure where to start these acknowledgments, because this story sprouted as an idea for my own two children and was pitched to a friend who was amazed by it. I created this story from various fairytales and combined them together into a new world where friendships and heartache are found in the least expected places, and by the least expected persons. The story opens a world of possibilities just the same as everyone who crossed my path during the process of this novel had.

About the Author Christine Clarence is the author of the Axillion series, the first novel in the trilogy about Ellie and the book of Rebus.

She wrote the series to give others hope. Christine hopes to create awareness on topics such as being raised as an orphan, the fear of your first job, etc., as anxiety is part of living. She feels that although life has its ups and downs, tears and laughter, it is your choice on how you handle it.

Introduction Have you ever found yourself wondering where existence all started? Where the sparkle of starlight kisses, slumbering in a nearby pond came from? Stalking, not uttering a sound, while watching your every move? Where all of it… really began? It’s not about the Big Bang Theory everyone talks about. Or a solar storm.

Oh no, that too, had to start from something. I am talking about the black out there. The abyss. No stars. No moon. No planets. Nothing — just endless black. The void — absence. Filled with death’s silence. Where did things called life, death, karma, yesterday, today, tomorrow, future, fate, destiny, past and time, all come from? Who created the Titans, gods? If you have found yourself wondering, then you are part of a very rare few. Called the limitless. Believing in something big. A rare few are born with such intelligence. No device can measure their capabilities. No one can put a limit on us.

There is this one story no one has ever told before. It was the bestkept secret of all time. It is the story of forgotten heroes, who once were people, just like you and how they were destined for great things. They were trained to become life, karma, death, yesterday, today and tomorrow, future, fate and destiny along with many others who serve a vital purpose.

The Titanium light created three sons, along with a world called Axillion. The three sons each bore extraordinary gifts. They were gifted with many powers. They hid their gifts by disguising 1

Ellie and the book of Rebus themselves so no one notices their robotic-type features. By blending in amongst Axillion’s fae they looked normal.

The eldest son Helion was the timekeeper. His face consisted of various clocks, with twirls and gears; he manipulated time. He owns time. Therefore he can do with it as he pleases. Time literally melts in his presence, unless he decides to prevent it. The middle son, Levian was gifted with a helping hand. His arm is packed with high-tech gadgets, looking like gears rotating upon gears. With his magical iron arm, he can walk through any solid object. Ruler of all the storms. The youngest son, Aidon the invisible universal trotter.

Gifted with a magical iron boot, fitted out with technical gadgets, making himself invisible whenever he wants to. Travelling anywhere he wishes, without being seen. Ruler of the winds.

The three brothers’ magic was dormant around each other.

Lethal powers, gifted to do good. As the years passed, jealousy became their friend, causing them to think that the other was the father’s favourite child. Endless feuds began, causing war and destruction amongst the lands. Many lives were lost. The latest feud, over a woman.

The eldest son chose to stay in exile on a continent named Namadus. Considering himself the least favourite, as his head consisted of clocks and gadgets. His hair consisted of small fine chains. He was truly the least fey-looking of them all. But what he never realised, was that he was the most important of them all. No one could act without him. The only one who could see past their shield was the Titanium light.

An unknown darkness has befallen Axillion, threatening to open the Cauldron to unleash the dead armies. No one will be safe. It is believed Levian is behind it all. A war threatens amongst them, the dark force wants the Titanium light dead, and to rule over all. The Titanium light heard about the plot against him. It disappointed him. What the Titanium light didn’t realise, was Axillion was home to a much greater evil than his sons.

The story I am about to tell is how we all started out. Just like you, some fought to belong somewhere in a big empty world. While 2

Ellie and the book of Rebus I never really fit anywhere, when I am done sharing my life, I hope you will never feel alone in your darkest hour again. We are all with you, every step of your journey, to the very end. My story is about Axillion, the very first planet created billions, and billions of years ago.

Axillion is the only planet having the power source of all life and death in existence’s wake. It is home to many people, creatures and beings, thought to be myths. It is also the only planet that is host to elements in human form in existence, known as just ordinary in the human world called earth. Axillion is the only planet where magical creatures of all sort roam, that invent and share complex knowledge throughout the universe with a whisper called thoughts. The only planet where ancient knowledge and technology are combined together to advance life everywhere. The creatures living inside Axillion, the only ones who know a realm Out-finity does exist, the cosmic realm of many universes. A planet whose power source is fed by a magical rainbow, guarded by three Leprechauns, and needs constant feeding or the animal creatures and plant life inside Axillion will die. Three Leprechaun men guard the rainbow and feed it with their magical golden coins they keep within their golden cauldron pots. This is the source of the magical sparkling air.

A planet where fearsome beasts roam and are tamed becoming loving creatures kept safe within their hearts. Axillion the only planet where love is considered sacred and forever, a bond which can never be broken. Axillion has harsh rules, but considering everything has a purpose in Axillion, it is much needed to be so.

Traitors and troublemakers are marked, then banished to the Island of the dark forests. Axillion, the only planet where the past, present and future work and roam very well together. Fauna and flora are very complex in Axillion. They have the brightest of colours, and when the plants feed, their sap can be seen pulsating through their veins.

Axillion is home to some of the strangest creatures. Hidden secrets are held behind secret doors which contain magical books 3

The Electi will be chosen by Magma. Magma, a twin to the Titanium light, was born in a world where twins are forbidden to live in the same realm, especially since the Titanium light was considered a god. The twin could be used as leverage against the other. Magma was cast to the opposite side of the universe, where he was raised by dark beings.

The twins found each other, one shining blindingly bright as a star, and the other practically allergic to light with his pale, blunt features. No one can bear to look in the Titanium light's face, it's too bright. Therefore, no one knows what he looks like in human form.

The Titanium light dimmed himself in the presence of his brother, as light burned his brother's skin, his name--Magma. This saddened Magma immensely, that he had a brother he so dearly loved, but both were destined to be without the other. Magma saw how lonely it made the Titanium light to be on his own, and began to think of ways to fix himself, but to no avail. The Titanium light then created Axillion, a gift to his brother, moving to a mountain where he could live in the darkness, safely away from any painful light. The Titanium light used up a lot of energy doing so as he shared his powers with creatures created to take some of the load he bared. The Titanium light now roamed freely in his normal form among the Axillion fae.

Magma had more powers than the Titanium light, so he decided to create a special creature called a Futara who can predict the future accurately. It took up almost all of Magma's powers as this creature had a huge see-through upper part of his head which contained six brains, the number of books Ellie sees in a vision. This meant all of Axillion’s and the existence's knowledge were available to Magma. After pouring most of his powers into the creation, Magma began to develop a side effect. He had anger issues now, that built up within him and needed releasing from time to time in the form of hell consisting of hot batter being poured slowly in crimson, tar and ash colours, expanding his territory unknowingly, 4

Ellie and the book of Rebus throughout the universe and multiverses. The magic was used to make the mountain he lived in magical and healing compared to any other mountain. The mountain could move through dimensions and appear wherever he wanted it to appear.

Magma saw how lonely his brother was, and decided a partner should be chosen for him, one he could share his love and life with.

A person who would add a softer more gentle touch to him. So the two brothers decided that Magma will choose this person. The Electi would have to be someone extraordinary, as the Titanium light bares no shadow. The first thing the two brothers decided was that the Electi would eventually hold the exact same powers as the Titanium light--an equal. The second thing they decided was that the Futara will only answer to the Electi and the Titanium light. The third thing was that the Electi would become ruler of Axillion. The Futara was such a complex creature that its knowledge was considered dangerous in the wrong hands. Magma watched his brother work tirelessly day in and day out without getting any rest to create the creatures inside Axillion. The creatures are so complex, each specie a different creature and colour shade. He sat pulsing life into everything. Magma decided that his greatest gift is yet to be given. He will gift the Electi once chosen, with all his powers.

Magma and the Titanium light agreed that the Electi would have to complete various tasks and phases to prove they are worthy of what they will be entrusted with. The first level will be the Cauldron, the second Axillion, and the third a test held in Out-finity, each level adding to their powers. They will hold great powers. The two brothers loved each other dearly, nothing is stronger than the bonds of siblings. Magma knew the Titanium light would never agree with him giving away all his powers to the Electi, so he kept it secret, and started plotting in the dark on how to prepare the Electi himself to become greatness, by releasing small amounts of his own power to them, but what he didn't realise was that in doing so it will disrupt the natural way of being, as his darker shadows within would consume him.
