Harness Your Personal Power
var seo_sids = new Array();var seo_osids = new Array(); Power doesn’t always have to be a bad thing. More importantly, it doesn’t imply that you need to be at the very top of the corporate ladder. The meaning of power is relative. The point here is that you achieve it when you gain some self-respect. You need to feel good about yourself right now. You can do this without bringing others down. Hone in on your inner strength and see to it that nothing paralyzes you. People have been harping about life being too short. This may sound like such a cliché but when you actually look back at your own life, you’ll be amazed at how quickly the years pass. Make the most out of your days. This means that you get rid of that extra baggage. You may have been walking around with a chip on your shoulder, but this doesn’t mean that you need to stay this way. If you have insecurities, ask yourself why you feel this way. If you constantly think that the worst is always going to happen, then this very fear paralyzes you from doing much. Sometimes, you just need to let go. You often think too much and sometimes, you look too deeply into the meaning of everything. Just look for ways to relax because as long as you live your life as honestly as possible, then the world isn’t always against you. Fate is sometimes on your side. You’re just so blinded with all the negative things that you forget to look the other way. This is when you also need to look into your self-worth. Stop being insecure. Your friends might have better lives, and you tend to compare yours with theirs. You don’t realize that they too have their own issues to deal with. So, stop obsessing about the rest of the world. If there are areas in your life that you’re not happy with, then work on it. You create your feature and sometimes, it may not always be the way you’ve planned it, but then again, there are still so many things you can take pride in. Don’t let the voices inside your head get to you. The choice is really yours to make: do you wish to listen to these voices or do you choose to prove them wrong? It may be easier said than done, but give yourself some time to get used to it. Practice self-talk and always think about the many things you can now be grateful for. Lastly, always go easy. Yes, you do need to take control of the situation. Sometimes, things just don’t work out as planned, but so what? Don’t beat yourself up about it. This may be fate telling you that you need to focus on something else? Or, this could be the world’s way of teaching you a lesson. Whatever it is, know that there will always be things you can’t control, and those that you can, be sure to start making plans so that you know you’ve done everything in your power to make things work in your favor.
