Local coffee brand Press Coffee has been serving the community since 2008 and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. The roaster recently opened a shop in McCormick Ranch at the Mercado Del Lago Plaza. Press took over the space that previously housed Lakeview Coffee, renovating the 1,300-square-foot space for a modern look and feel. It features comfortable seating, outlets and a patio. Press sources its beans from coffee farmers around the world, then roasts those beans at its roastery in Phoenix. Change is a good thing at Old Town Scottsdale’s Pop Up Bar. The new experiential establishment will continuously change its concept throughout the year, with each theme featuring original art installations, a curated bar and a scratch kitchen with a seasonal menu. The first concept, 50 Shades of Rosé, opened in late June and showcases a blush bar, a flower wall and green booths. Parisian-inspired cafe, bistro and wine bar Zinqué recently expanded its breakfast offerings. Located at Scottsdale Fashion Square, the eatery serves brunch daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customer favorites, like the quinoa breakfast burrito ($14) and crispy sunny eggs with prosciutto ($16) are still on the menu, but there’s now also a few new items to enjoy. Standouts include the matcha granola ($13), complete with grain-free matcha granola, yogurt berries, mint, and honey; as well as the Le Breakfast Bowl ($15), featuring a poached egg with quinoa, avocado, asparagus, garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, and green yogurt. www.lezinque.com.

Swedish luxury bed company Hastens recently opened a new store in the Scottsdale Seville shopping center. This is the second store in the state for the brand, with the first located in North Scottsdale. The new showroom is one of the first times the entire full Hastens bed lineup has been on display in one place.
