Growing fruit and vegetables in the garden plots to help provide fresh produce at each of the grocery distributions.

Grocery Distribution

Provides grocery assistance to low-income families and individuals. Registered Richmond residents can pick up food one time per calendar week during grocery distribution hours. Distributes groceries at #100 5800 Cedarbridge Way, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 11:00-2:00pm. Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00-11:30 are for clients who are 70+ years and older. On Mondays, groceries are also distributed in West Richmond at Francis Road and No 1 Road at the parking lot near Hugh Boyd Secondary from 3:30 to 5:00pm. On Tuesdays, groceries are also distributed in East Richmond at the Peace Mennonite Church (11571 Daniels Road, Richmond) from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. **For people with special circumstances who need help from the Food Bank but cannot get there, other arrangements can be made to receive food assistance.
