HandyCards cannot be used on HandyDART transit trips.

Provides information and referral on various types of seniors housing options in the lower mainland of BC for 60+ seniors. Outreach program is offered on a case by case priority basis and is not available to seniors located in the Downtown Eastside.

The Temporary Housing Program is short term stay for up to three months in a fully contained suite with a program fee applied. Homeless Prevention Program provides rent subsidies to seniors who are: fleeing abuse, discharged from the hospital, or identify as Indigenous. HPP is not for SAFER recipients. The Rent Bank provides loans to seniors who are at temporary shortage of funds, or financial crisis. Eligibility for all housing services programs is determined upon the intake. Priority is given on a case by case basis due to high needs and waitlist for all programs.
