Out & About in Rockville Centre

Joe Abate/Herald file south shore symphony brought its beautiful sounds to St. Agnes Cathedral while, at right, students at Francis F. Willis Elementary School take part in a student vote with Kathy Baccaglini and Eileen Votke. Fireworks lit up the sky over Rockville Centre just in time for the Fourth of July holiday. It was the first time the village hosted a fireworks show since just before the pandemic in 2019.

Daniel Rocco, at right, continued his tour with his band Des Rocks, which made a stop in the area last summer. The Rockville Centre Police Department's color guard, below, marches in front of St. Agnes Cathedral to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on Memorial Day.
