Teater & Exhibitions

Alfie Atkins has been seen in theaters, exhibitions and musicals in Sweden and around the world. Te first theater production ”Heja Alfons Åberg” was staged by Riksteatern as early as 1979. Since then, among others, Danska Comedievognen, Boulevardteatern and Oslo Nye Teater played several productions. Teaters in Finland, Germany and Iceland have also played Alfie.

During the 50th anniversary in 2022, the exhibition ”Tree Cheers for Alfie Atkins”, about Alfie Atkins and Gunilla Bergström, toured around the world. Te exhibition was shown in 19 countries during the anniversary year thanks to the Swedish Institute and Sharing Sweden. During 2023, the exhibition will continue to tour libraries and cultural centers in each country.

In December 2022, the exhibition ”Aja baja på Junibacken!” opened. It is based on the two books ”Very Trick, Alfie Atkins” and ”Just Tie It, Alfie!”.

Te exhibition runs at Junibacken in Stockholm until the end of August 2023.
