ATHENS CITYSCAPE MUSEUM The New Archeological Museum of the Future The new cityscape museum is a collective information center placed in a specific point (Next to Panathenaic Stadium) to represent the vicinity urban context and the urban artifacts. The museum will correspond to the axis of views from the architectural site. The network of these artifacts will mold the exhibition and program space by its core values with length, depth, height, distance, form and the inner volume. The museum will have a open plan to mix programs, allowing to let the artifacts, the urban context, research, and humans to interact without boundaries. Through this process, the viewers could understand the subject matter with more personal relationship towards the artifacts and the city.

Athens Museum Charter A.Location 1. The most ideal place for a museum should be in the central downtown area. 2. Museum constructed alongside major routes is preferable. 3. Museum should occupy the best places in the city from the point of view of accessibility. 4. The location should be determined by the zoning of the urban planning. 5. Museums should be provided with sufficient open space to meet reasonable needs for recreation and actives for children, adolescents and adults. 6. Interaction with the urban fabric is crucial for a museum. 7. Walking distance from the metro is favorable. 8. Visual accessibility from the city center is ideal. 9. Similar programs should be clustered to make a synergy. 10. Full advantages should be taken of existing natural features: rivers, forests, hills, mountains, valleys, lakes, sea, etc. 11. It should be possible to spend week-end free time in accessible and favorable places. 12.
