First luxury hotel opening soon in Vang Vieng, Laos A major development is announced in the Lao hospitality industry with the forthcoming opening of the first Resort specifically targeting the high-end market in Vang Vieng. The Riverside Boutique Resort will become the first upscale establishment offering an international level of comfort and services in this picturesque district. Based on a beautiful design by Lao architect Sakpaseuth Phanrajsavong, the Riverside Boutique Resort will celebrate and promote the exceptional cultural and natural diversity of Laos. The thirty-four rooms and suites will all feature elegant dĂŠcors drawing on the cultures of various ethnic groups, including the Akha, Hmong, Katu, Lanten, Lao Lum, Tai Daeng, Tai Leu and Yao.

The restaurant offers indoor seating, to enjoy the airconditioned comfort of an elegantly set-up room on the first floor, as well as outdoor seating.

The Riverside Boutique Resort provides thirty-two Deluxe rooms and two suites luxuriously designed and equipped with wooden furniture and exclusive fabric.

Located on the banks of the Nam Song River, next to a small wooden bridge, the Resort is set in a luxuriant tropical garden and organized around a central swimming pool. All rooms as well as the restaurant and the bar offer stunning views over the limestone mountains of Vang Vieng.

Vang Vieng Located mid-way between Luang Prabang and Vientiane, Vang Vieng is both an ideal stop-over for tourists travelling between the two cities and an attractive weekend getaway for city residents. At an altitude of about 300 meters, the temperature there is a bit cooler than in Vientiane, warm in the day to cool at night in winter (DecFeb).
