After 13 years in Branson, we have decided to move the conference about 90 miles northwest, because we want a conference location with lots of amenities. No more running from the conference location to your car, to a restaurant, to the hotel and back to the conference center. Now everything and more is in one place. Tan-Tar-A Resort in on the lake, has numerous restaurants, golfing, putt-putt golf, bowling alley, indoor water park, boat rentals, horseback riding and much, much more. This is a great location for all ages. This is truly a family vacation with a purpose. We have negotiated incredibly affordable room rates. The conference center is on the beautiful 1,500 miles of shoreline of Lake of the Ozarks. If you are flying in, you will still fly into the Springfield, Missouri Airport that is about 90 minutes from the resort.

TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE INCLUDE: It’s Time to Be Protestant Again by Pastor Philip De Courcy: Phil brings this challenging sermon to us on the need to return to the basics of the Reformation in an age of ecumenicalism and rising apostasy. 2017 is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, and thus, this is a very timely keynote presentation. Evangelizing Catholics by Pastor Philip De Courcy: Phil shares extensive testimonies of living in Ireland which is a nation where protestants and catholics were literally at war. Growing up in a neighborhood where civil tension was commonplace, many of Philip’s friends became involved in acts of terrorism. Pastor Phil will take us to the Scriptures and show us how he was able to earnestly contend for the faith in a troubled nation that needed a Biblical voice and witness. Atheists Among Us! by Former Atheist Jason Pratt: Jason is a former atheist that is now a committed Christian and Biblical creationist. He is also a test pilot and rocket scientist serving in the U.S. Navy. Jason will discuss the scourge of practical atheism in the church. Soft Persecution, Hard Truth by Jason Pratt: What are some of the hard truths of the scriptures that will bring persecution to Christians when we believe and proclaim the truths of God’s Word? How should we respond to such persecution? Jason will share how as an atheist he personally persecuted Christians, yet was convicted by their response to his attacks. Tracking the Bear by Dr. Mark Hitchcock: Mark will present current events dealing with Russia, Iran, Turkey and Israel that appear to be setting the stage for Biblical events to be fulfilled. E-MADNESS: The Imminent Threat of Cyber-Attacks and Cyber-Warfare by Dr. Ron Rhodes More than one-third of U.S. consumers have experienced a computer virus, hacking incident, or cyber-attack in the past 12 months. There was recently a major hack of democratic party records, now blamed on Russian intelligence services. Chinese hackers downloaded digital truckloads of data on more than 20 million U.S. government workers. North Korea raided Sony Pictures’ computers after the movie company released a comedy movie that mocked their nation’s dictator. A hacking group called “The Shadow Brokers” infiltrated the NSA’s computers and is now looking to sell off “cyber weapons” used by the agency, asking for $1 billion. This session examines cyberspace and cyber attacks, the accessing of private government and military networks, the “electronic pearl harbor” that many expect soon in the United States, the terrorist cyber-threat to the United States, cyber jihad, the militarization of cyberspace, and how all this relates to biblical prophecy. Biometrics and the Loss of Personal Privacy by Dr. Ron Rhodes Biometrics is a technology that enables identifying people by measuring and analyzing one of their bodily characteristics—such as their fingerprints, voice patterns, facial patterns, odor/scent, hand geometry, palm print, iris recognition, retina recognition, and even DNA. This session examines the various forms of biometrics, the two primary applications of biometrics—identification and verification, and how this technology, despite some benefits, also contributes greatly to a loss of personal privacy. The ubiquity of biometrics begs the question as to whether any of us can lead truly private lives anymore. This session will show the significance of biometrics to biblical prophecy. I
n 2007 I began reporting on my radio program on the threat of an electromagnetic pulse bomb being detonated over the United States of America by such countries as Russia or Iran or North Korea. It is said that Iran has been practicing launching a missile off a cargo ship in international waters since, well, many years back, and if they could put a nuclear weapon up over the United States of America 10 to 30 miles up above America and detonate it, the explosion would create what is known as an electromagnetic pulse and would grab the curvature of the earth and experts say it would put down almost all, guaranteed all three of the power grids in America, and it could take months if not years to fully restore power. Part of the reason is much of the equipment, these large transmitters, these large substations, transmission substations, many of those large pieces of equipment are custom built and must be custom built for every place in which they reside. The commander of SENCOM, You can’t just grab one and four star general Lloyd Austin put it anywhere. In addition, these are manufactured in who said exactly that. It’s not a many cases overseas in places question of if, it’s only a question I read such as in Germany and in South Korea, and you’re of when talking about a year or more to have them manufactured and then transported to America and then transported to the site location and then assembled. Can you imagine what would happen if hundreds or even a few thousand of these were damaged at the same time? I don’t know about you, but I grew up watching the program Nightline hosted by Ted Koppel. I am sure, however, that I would not agree with Ted Koppel on some important and vital public policy issues. With that said, I do respect his professionalism and his deep research on many topics.

One of them is the topic we’re discussing in this broadcast. Ted Koppel is the author of a book entitled Lights Out. It was published in 2015, and again, I would urge you to get a copy. It’s published by Crown Publishing, Lights Out: A Cyber Attack, a Nation Unprepared, Surviving the Aftermath. It’s an excellent book and I highly recommend you get a copy yourself. Yet the experts seem to indicate that such catastrophe or such death or harm is not necessary if people are prepared. Simple preparedness. Ted Koppel asked a very good question. Why are our government officials not preparing the American people now for what he believes is inevitable? Let’s begin with clips by Ted Koppel being interviewed on his book, Lights Out. In fact, that’s a line that a man I came to know when I was embedded with U.S. forces during the invasion of Iraq, he is now the commander of SENCOM, four star general Lloyd Austin who said exactly that. It’s not a question of if, it’s only a question of when. Notice what he said. He’s quoting the general in charge of SENCOM, one of our highest and most strategic military intelligence services. [end quote] First of all, notice he said that he is taking this information that he has learned in nearly two years of research so seriously that he has purchased freeze dried food for his family, for his wife, himself, his children, and his children’s children. By the way folks, something I’ve not mentioned until recently on radio, in April 2013 I personally bought enough freeze dried food for my family to last several months because I too, having researched this since 2007, believe it is indeed a major threat. I also want to be prepared for other disasters: power outages due to natural disasters, tornadoes, an ice storm. I live in Memphis on the New Madrid fault, or near enough it that local news stations have routinely run programs on what a massive earthquake might do to those of us living in Memphis this close to the New Madrid fault, and 22

many have been told they should be prepared. So there are many reasons to, I believe, be able to sustain yourself and not count on the government. A few years ago we set out to be the premier Biblical worldview radio and television network. As you know, today we produce and distribute numerous radio and television programs from our Memphis, Tennessee studios. Each week we spend hours filming, recording, and post-editing to make these programs available to you and Christians around the world at no charge. Please remember that we do not charge any of these broadcast partners and, in fact, we cover their travel and lodging. These programs are largely made possible because of your partnership with us through your tax deductible contributions. Can you imagine the man hours required to produce these six television programs, not to mention hundreds of hours of studying, filming, and post production we do each year? Then there is the cost of producing and distributing these programs that includes the bandwidth we must pay for that our app, Roku Channel, and websites consume each time you watch one of our programs. We also have the cost of our computer tech, server administrator, servers, back up servers on the cloud, video player that streams each program, flying our broadcasters in to our TV studio in Memphis, lodging, and renting the ballrooms for our free Worldview Weekend rallies. I could add to this list, but I think you get the idea. With all the many free ministries we offer we need to increase our monthly contributions by $4,000 in order to meet our budget requirements for 2017. While we are not asking anything additional of our current, generous, and faithful donors, we are asking those of you that are equipped, edified, and encouraged by this ministry, and do not already support us but can do so, to please consider doing so. power grid, and so I built an outdoor bonfire pit so that I’m able to then take camping gear like a grate, have firewood, start a fire, put a grate over it, put pots and pans, boil water, dump in freeze dried food. Others have emailed after the regular show and said, “Well what about water?” Again you might want to stock up on water, but do you realize how much water is coming off of your roof? And in the spring of 2012 I purchased some items that allowed me to put those into the down spouts of my gutters and then to run a hose into a barrel that collects water, and I will show you that product in our next broadcast, as well as tell you about just how many gallons, hundreds of gallons of water, actually thousands of gallons of water can fall on your roof in a given year. You see these are very inexpensive ways to have preparations and to be ready. I go back to the fact that if our American leaders would actually prepare the American people for what could be coming just as they did during World War I and World War II, Americans could be prepared and we could make it quite well, but unfortunately, we seem to be a Romans 1 nation. What do I mean by that if you’re a new listener? Romans 1 describes what happens to a nation that rejects God over and over again. One of the consequences is you end up with a people that are fools. Romans I, I believe it’s verse 21, says: You become a nation of fools, vain, useless, and futile in your thinking. Indeed, you also end up with corrupt, immoral, debased leaders at all levels. In fact, one of the consequences is a violent debased country. Part of the problem is if this had occurred 25, 30, 40, 50 years ago, you wouldn’t have as many deaths partly because people would know how to survive and be prepared, we wouldn’t have all of the Romans 1 describes what Internet we do today, but happens to a nation that rejects take all the technology aspect out of it and just be with the God over and over again human aspect. Many people would survive because they would know how to survive. In addition they were a much more moral people. You don’t see the killing and the violence in the Great Depression that you would see today if such an economic crisis happened because I believe we have, as Romans chapter one described, become a debased nation, violent and debased, and that’s one of the consequences. That’s one of the judgments of God. But we’re in this situation partly because I believe we are a nation of fools and many of those fools are in charge of our government. They’re vain, they’re useless, and they’re futile in their thinking. Thankfully, however, we have some people in government and former high-ranking government officials that are not fools. They’re very wise. They know the threat and 40

they’re doing their best to warn the American people. By the way, some of these people I’m not sure they’re Christians, but at least they have common sense and they care about their country. You see this goes back to what I’ve said in many programs. You can be a good judge, a good police officer, a good sheriff, a good politician, a good local official, state official, federal official, and not be a Christian but still be a good magistrate.

This is one reason why I can vote for someone who’s not a Christian but has the skills and the knowledge base to carry out the purpose and function of government. Reward the righteous and punish the wicked. So indeed, we see people inside our government and former high-ranking government officials that indeed may not be Christians, but they are thinkers. They are making good decisions and judgments. Unfortunately they seem to be the minority. Most of America is made up indeed of a violent debased culture and fools at every level: vain, useless, and futile in their thinking. Could it be because we have become a Romans I nation with vain, useless, and futile people at all levels of government? Watch this clip. Ted Koppel: I spoke to the two top officials at FEMA. FEMA is the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It would be their responsibility to deal with the consequences of an attack in the immediate aftermath. The deputy head of FEMA who is a retired coast guard vice admiral told me that in his opinion in the event that a city like New York or Manhattan was hit, his response would be to evacuate. I said, “Evacuate 8 million people?” “Well,” he said, “you don’t leave me with much of an option. If it happens you’ve got to take care of the people and the only way I can see you could do that would be to evacuate.” The next day I spoke to his boss and said, “What would you do? Would you evacuate?” He said, “Evacuate? You can’t evacuate 8 million people. Where would you put them?” So just to respond directly to your question, the two top people at the agency responsible for dealing with the consequences of an attack like this cannot agree on what they would do. [end quote] So even the leaders of FEMA can’t seem to agree how to respond. Does that tell you the necessity to prepare on your own? At the afternoon press conference, Gaffney dubbed the potential crisis the “grid jihad.” A lack of electricity would shut off water systems, impact city transportation services, and shut down hospitals and other big facilities. Fresh and frozen foods also would be impacted, as would banks, financial institutions, and utilities. Peter Pry provided details of recent attacks on electricity systems and said that ISIS could easily team with Mexican drug cartels to ravage America. He told secrets for example that Knights Templar drug gang blacked out the electric grid of the Mexican state of Michoacan in 2013 to provide cover for killing those fighting the drug trade. “The Knights Templar and other criminal gangs in Mexico will do anything for money, and ISIS, the richest terrorist organization in history, has hundreds of millions of dollars at its disposal,” said Pry. [end quote] By the way, since this report I’ve now read a new figure that says ISIS has at its disposable up to $2 billion. That would allow them to hire the needed experts, if you will, and the off-the-shelf equipment as experts are saying to attack America’s power grid.

The article goes on to say, quoting Peter Pry, [quote] “ISIS could hire one of the Mexican cartels or one of their criminal gangs already in the U.S., or activate jihadist terrorist cells already in the U.S. and inflict a multi-state blackout immediately within days or weeks, perhaps even a nationwide blackout,” Peter Pry explained. [end quote] By the way, the article concludes by saying, “The Texas Department of Public Safety recently said they believe there is evidence that ISIS plans an attack.” I’m bringing this to you now because I increasingly feel The Texas Department of Public that we are more vulnerable Safety recently said they believe than ever before, because I there is evidence that ISIS plans have uncovered more and more information that shows an attack our government has no intention of getting ready. I must say when I see people like James Woolsey, former CIA director, the former assistant secretary of defense Frank Gaffney, and news journalist Ted Koppel, along with former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich publicly speaking on these issues, it gave me, I believe, the freedom to say yes, it’s time to do programs and tell people that this is serious. It’s serious enough, I believe, that I’m sharing with you my own preparations that I have done for the last few years. Please understand, my purpose is not to cause you fear. We as Christians are not to have a spirit of fear and of weakness but be of sound mind, yet the Bible has an awful lot to say as we will see in coming programs about being prepared for hard times, putting away, and yes, being able to share with others who have need. So let me stress once again, this program is not to scare you and to elicit any response from you other than being aware and making reasonable and common sense preparations. That’s the purpose. Abner Chou: Abner has been one of our most popular radio guests and hosts due to his passion for Bible teaching and his gift at taking the complex and making it easily understood and applied. Abner Chou serves as Associate Professor of Bible at The Master’s University. Previously, he taught Greek at The Master’s Seminary and spent two years teaching in Israel with IBEX. Dr. Chou holds degrees from The Master’s University (B.A.) and The Master’s Seminary (M.Div., Th.M., Th.D.). Mark Hitchock: Mark Hitchcock is a leading Bible prophecy expert, prolific author who has penned over 20 books on the end times, senior pastor, and adjunct faculty member of the Dallas Theological Seminary. He has appeared on hundreds of radio programs and in print as well as The History Channel, MSNBC, Fox, The Glenn Beck Show, and CNN. A former attorney, Mark initially worked for the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Following a call to fulltime ministry, today he serves as senior pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma, just outside of Oklahoma City. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1991, where he subsequently earned his doctorate in 2006 and more recently has served as an adjunct faculty member. Ron Rhodes: Dr. Ron Rhodes received his Th.M. and Th.D. degrees in systematic theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating with honors. He is currently the president of Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries, an apologetics organization located in Texas. The author of more than 60 books, with millions of books in print, Dr. Rhodes is a keynote speaker at conferences across the United States and Canada.
An articulate writer and public speaker, Rhodes has addressed some of the largest churches in America, created Bible study materials, and written over 200 articles for national publications. As a teenager, he and his seven brothers and sisters performed as a musical group on American Bandstand, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and on many other variety shows. He worked with a number of celebrities and came to know the Lord shortly after performing at Disneyland with the Pat Boone family.
Mike Riddle: Mike is an international speaker and educator on Christian education and apologetics. Mike is also an adjunct speaker for Answers in Genesis. He holds a degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in education and has been involved in creation ministry for more than thirty years. Prior to getting involved in creation ministry, Mike was a captain in the U.S. Marines and a national champion in track and field.
