Religion Is the Foundation for the Coming New World Order By Brannon S. Howse

ohn Maynard Keynes— likely the world’s bestknown economist—foisted upon the world a theory of economics based on a set of values virtually opposite to much of what makes for healthy financial living for individuals or nations. His system is built on a love of debt and hatred of savings, the wholesale implementation of which produced a 1930s Great Depression much deeper and longer than necessary. Keynes advocated that, during an economic downturn, government should borrow (inflate the currency) and dump large amounts of cash into the economy. The government should become the primary source of spending and employment, and the end results are inflation and the devaluation of currency. If the idea of government creating money so as to spend wildly beyond its means sounds familiar, that’s because many

www.worldviewtimes.com through “evolution instead of revolution.” The idea of socialism by itself, however, is not sufficient to sweep mankind into a one-world system of any kind. To succeed in its takeover requires a powerful ally that has been growing in influence for the past century. All for One The Bible foretells that there will someday be a one-world economy (Revelation 13:16-17) and a one-world government (Revelation 13:2-4, 13:7, 17:12-13). The centerpiece of bringing all this “oneness” to pass, though, will be the one-world religion also predicted, in Thessalonians 2:3-4 and Revelation 13:8. This amalgamated one-world “faith” is the foundation upon which worldwide socialism will be built. Religion will be the vehicle for accomplishing a one-world economy and a one-world government led by a one-world leader. While it may seem like a stretch to propose that some form of spirituality is the basis for an otherwise secular world government, the dots already connect through some startling sources to show that this is actually happening already. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is a committed Fabian Socialist who, according to the November 26, 2010 Telegraph, sees that this “faith” will play a leading role in globalization: Mr. Blair, who converted to Roman Catholicism after he stepped down as Prime Minister in 2007, was to address the question, “Is religion a force for
good or Ill?”...in [an] interview with Toronto’s Globe and Mail newspaper, Mr. Blair said, “I think the place of faith in the era of globalization is the single biggest issue of the 21st century. In terms of how people live together, how we minimize the prospects of conflict and maximize the prospects of peace, the place of religion in our society is essential…I think religion could be, in an era of globalization, a civilizing force.”1 For several years, I have written that Communism, per se, will not be the foundation for the coming oneworld system but that it will be Fabian Socialism. While Communism will play a role, the one-world economy will be based on a mixture of communism and capitalism, what humanist Richard Rorty calls, “welfare-statecapitalism.” Even though Fabians do not endorse the violent, radical tactics of communists, they will nevertheless defend communists as allies in their march toward globalism. As John Stormer explains: Fabians worked for world revolution not through uprising of the workers but through indoctrination of young scholars. The Fabians believed that eventually these intellectual revolutionaries would acquire power and influence in the official and unofficial opinion-making and power-wielding agencies of the world. Then they could quietly

www.worldviewtimes.com establish a socialistic, one-world order.2 The ultimate goal of Fabian Socialism is globalism, a one-world government and one-world economy, but how will they get there? The Fabian Socialists will use religion as the vehicle to accomplish globalization. One of them, George Bernard Shaw, wrote: I, as a Socialist, have had to preach, as much as anyone, the enormous power of the environment. We can change it; we must change it; there is absolutely no other sense in life than the task of changing it. What is the use of writing plays, what is the use of writing anything, if there is not a will which finally moulds chaos itself into a race of gods. Fabian Socialist H.G. Wells declared: This idea of a planned world-state is one to which all
our thought and knowledge is tending ... It is appearing partially and experimentally at a thousand points ... its coming is likely to happen quickly. Even President George H. Bush invoked pseudo-religious language in his “thousand points of light” reference, and he peppered many speeches with the term “new world order,” including a speech before the U.S. Congress. A Window into Socialism To herald the evolving socialist world, George Bernard Shaw designed and commissioned the creation of the “Fabian Window.” Borrowing from centuries of church tradition, this stain glass window depicts two men hammering on the world as it sits on an anvil. The words “Remold It Nearer To The Heart’s Desire” is engraved at the top of the window. And above the window hangs the Fabian Socialist emblem: a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Hardly a subtle image! www.worldviewradio.com warns in Matthew that the greatest sign of His return will be the increase in false teachers and false prophets. He calls them ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing: Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15-16) At the bottom of the Fabians’ window, people are kneeling in prayer— another not-so-subtle religious symbol revealing that Fabian Socialism has no problem embracing religion if it will help accomplish their global vision. But remember, Satan is behind all of this as he seeks to build his kingdom. At its core is a spiritual, religious and occult system. In an odd twist in the history of the Fabian Window, it was stolen in 1978 and reappeared nearly thirty years later for the Auction at Sotheby’s in July 2005. The window was placed on display in 2006 at London School of Economics, the school of Fabian Socialism. And presiding over the dedication ceremony? Tony Blair, who told the crowd: Despite all the very obvious differences in policy and attitude and positioning... a lot of the values that the Fabians and George Bernard Shaw stood for would be very recognizable, at least I hope they would, in today’s Labour party. Mr. Blair now heads up the Tony Blair Faith Foundation which seeks
to bring the religions of the world together. Pastor Rick Warren sits on the advisory board and has endorsed Blair’s initiative: I honestly don’t know of anyone better suited for this challenge. It’s why I agreed to serve on the Advisory Board. The Tony Blair Faith Foundation’s potential for doing good is staggering. There have been two tracks to globalism for many years—political and spiritual. Now the two tracks have become one as politicians use religion to promote globalism and religious leaders become partners with politicians to promote the United Nations. In July 2009, Pope Benedict XVI issued a 30,000-word encyclical, and this time even the New York Times understood the seriousness of what the Pope was calling for: Pope Benedict XVI on Tuesday called for a radical rethinking of the global economy, criticizing a growing divide between rich and poor and urging the establishment of a “true world political authority” to oversee the economy and work for the “common good… Indeed, sometimes Benedict sounds like an old-school European socialist, lamenting the decline of the social welfare state and praising the “importance” of labor unions to protect workers. Without stable work, he noted, people lose hope and tend not to get continued on page 12

Thank You Dear friends, It has been my privilege to speak in over 35 cities the last two years with Brannon Howse. The impact of the Worldview Weekends in thousands of lives across this country not only affects individuals and families, but also our Nation. What Brannon does is even more amazing since he does it on a “shoe string financially. With his office and radio/TV studio at home, he works without renting office space or paying a secretary. The Howse family handles most of the workload alone. The sacrifices they make are because of their love and passion to see America and the Church stay true to their heritage and purpose. The potential impact of this ministry for the good of our country is only limited by financial resources. With so many crucial issues facing America and the church, let me encourage you to partner with Worldview Weekend by a generous financial investment. Your gift to the Worldview Weekend Foundation will reap not only results now for our country, but eternal dividends in the lives of thousands of families and individuals. 9

A few years ago, for example, Henry Kissinger appeared on the Charlie Rose Program and declared …”we have to bring about together with other countries a different consciousness of what a world order is.” New Agers have been using “consciousness” and “world order” language for years. Socialist “theologian” and associate of the British Fabian Society, Dr. Walter Rauschenbusch understood the power of a nation’s religious beliefs when he wrote, “The only power that can make socialism succeed, if it is established, is religion. It cannot work in an irreligious country.”5 Rauschenbusch was graduated from Rochester Theological Seminary in 1885 and was committed to social justice believing that it would create a “Kingdom of God on Earth.” 6
married and have children… Benedict also called for a reform of the United Nations so there could be a unified “global political body” that allowed the less powerful of the earth to have a voice, and he called on rich nations to help less fortunate ones.3 The World Church Pope Benedict is right on cue with what New Age author Alice Bailey said would occur, that many church leaders—even pastors and “Christian” authors—would promote globalism and pagan spirituality. This has been coming from the Vatican and Catholic leaders for some time and has now affected Protestants as well. Fortunately, just as I speak out against the agenda of Protestant leaders, some of my Catholic friends have begun to do the same about the Vatican and other Catholic globalists. Many Catholics have even called in to my radio program to thank me for exposing globalists in both the Protestant and Catholic worlds. Secularists see a useful parallel in church influence. Former U.N. Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold noted that there are “two Popes on this planet, a spiritual Pope in Rome and a civilian Pope in New York, namely, the Secretary-General of the UN.”4
Lest you think that Rauschenbusch did not have a big impact on America, consider the words of Dr. A.W. Beaven, a former president of the Federal Council of Churches of Christ America, who wrote in 1937: It is clear, it seems to me, that the greatest single influence on the life and thought of the American Church in the last 50 years was exerted by Walter Rauschenbusch.7 My friend, John Stormer, wrote the book None Dare Call it Treason in 1964, now a classic that has sold more than seven million copies. Stormer discussed his book with Ronald Reagan while Mr. Reagan was campaigning for presidential candidate Barry Goldwater. Reagan was so impressed

www.worldviewtimes.com with the book’s scholarship and history of that he wrote Stormer a check and ordered numerous copies of None Dare Call it Treason to distribute to friends. In June 2010, Mr. Stormer was a guest on my radio program, and I asked him how much the book had influenced the man who became president. Mr. Stormer explained that President Reagan’s Attorney General Edwin Meese had told him that President Reagan quoted Mr. Stormer and his book in meetings as a way to expose his Cabinet to the dangers and tactics of Communism, including the communist quest to co-opt young pastors of all denominations. Even former Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin understood the importance of co-opting the church when he spoke of his intent to bring down America: America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within. Perhaps it was because President Reagan was so aware of the power of the church and biblical Christianity that he made numerous trips to speak before groups such as The National Religious Broadcasters Association. President Regan also worked with Congress to declare 1983 The Year of the Bible. A History of Church Infiltration A major figure who played a leading role in co-opting the churches of
America was Dr. Harry F. Ward: In 1908, he was the founder of the oldest, officially-cited Communist-front group in America, the Methodist Federation for Social Action. A year later, he played a part in organizing the Federal Council of Churches, a forerunner of the present day, National Council of Churches. In September 1961, while in his 80’s, this durable old man was the keynote speaker in New York which protested the action of the Supreme Court in branding the Communist Party USA as a Communist-controlled organization. Ward was branded as the “Red Dean” of the religious field before a committee of the U.S. Congress. Ward posed as a Methodist, but for 25 years he infected hundreds of young ministers of all denominations with his blasphemous ideas as a professor of Christian Ethics at Union Theological Seminary. He also served at Boston School of Theology at Boston University.8 According to a publication of the Federal Council of Churches, Ward sought to produce, “a changed attitude on the part of many church members concerning the purpose and function both of the Church and Christianity.”9 In using the Trojan horse of religion to bring about globalization, modern-day emissaries like Tony Blair are standing on the shoulders of those

www.worldviewtimes.com becoming the famous Lutheran pastor in Germany who stood up to the Nazi regime and was rewarded with imprisonment and death through being hung by a piano wire, Bonhoeffer was a student at Union Seminary in New York. In his book, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Prophet, Martyr, Spy Eric Metaxas notes the growing conflict: Fosdick had been the pastor at New York’s First Presbyterian Church when in 1922 he preached an infamous sermon titled, “Shall the Fundamentalists Win?” In it he laid out a kind of Apostate’s Creed in which he expressed his serious doubts about most of the historic assertions of the Christian faith, including the virgin birth, the resurrection, the divinity of Christ, the atonement, miracles, and the Bible as the Word of God. This sermon was the opening salvo in a battle that would rage particularly hotly through the 1920s and 1930s. The local presbytery immediately conducted an investigation, but as a part of the moneyed East Coast WASP establishment, Fosdick had little to fear. His defense was conducted by another establishment scion, John Foster Dulles, who served as Eisenhower’s secretary of State, and whose father was a well-known liberal Presbyterian minister. Fosdick resigned before they could censure him, and he was given the pastorate of the fashionably progressive Park Avenue Baptist
who have gone before—men like Ward and even tycoon John D. Rockefeller, Jr. At least as far back as the 1920s, Rockefeller immersed himself in the Interchurch World Movement. He believed that “another crusade was needed to bring warring factions of Christianity together”.10 Rockefeller, a forerunner of Blair and other modern-day globalists, promoted ecumenicalism: Would that I had the power to bring to your minds the vision as it unfolds before me! I see all denominational emphasis set aside…I see the church molding the thought of the world as it has never done before, leading in all great movements as it should. I see it literally establishing the Kingdom of God on earth.11 Rockefeller may have called it “the Kingdom of God,” but what he was really committed to was building the Kingdom of Satan on earth through globalism, ecumenicalism, and social justice. And he did some literal building along the way, too. For his personal “golden boy” liberal pastor Harry Emerson Fosdick of Riverside Church in New York City, Rockefeller constructed a new building: “Riverside Church on New York’s Upper West side was endowed by the Rockefellers to the tune of $50 million.”12 The spurious connections between Rockefeller, Fosdick, and the socialists of the day was recognized even at the time by a young Christian martyr-tobe named Dietrich Bonhoeffer. What students are saying about Worldview Weekend Training Institute What a privilege it was to be a part of the first Worldview Weekend Training Institute in April of 2009. The class was one of the first training events that I have ever attended in my 54 years that actually met and even exceeded my hopes and expectations. In observing the reactions of my fellow classmates, from states all across the US, I am confident that they appreciated your presentations and instructions as much as I did. The training class was conducted in a very professional manner. The materials for the class were first rate, and lectures came across as well thought out and very timely. It was obvious that our Lord is blessing you and your ministry. A simple thank you seems so inadequate. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to protect and bless you, your family, and your ministry as you work to serve him. Dan P. (April 2009 Class)
I have studied God’s principles for everyday life and civil government for many years. Never before have I seen such concise teaching so well organized and ready for me to immediately begin teaching. Brannon’s worldview curriculum came complete with Power-Point slides, leader’s guide and student worksheets. Sterling L. Ph.D. (April 2009 Class) The Worldview Weekend Training Institute is a life changing experience. As a pastor, I feel that I keep up with what is taking place in our society. I left the training better equipped as a pastor and as a Christian citizen. I will never be the same. Thank you Brannon for the research and heart that you put into this ministry. If every Christian would hear this teaching, I believe that America would be impacted for the Glory of God.

vigorous…have turned their back on all genuine theology and study of many economic and political problems. Here, they feel, is the renewal of the Gospel for our time…It must not, however, be left unmentioned that the theological education of this group is virtually nil, and the self-assurance which lightly makes mock of any specifically theological question is unwarranted and naïve. 14
Seeing an opportunity to knock out fundamentalism in New York, the Rockefeller Foundation promptly funded the construction of a church for Fosdick, one that would serve as a proper platform for his “progressive” modernist views. Bonhoeffer had just begun his studies at Union [Seminary] when it opened—and it opened to such pomp and circumstance that no one could have failed to know about it. It was a major cultural event.13
Bonhoeffer was distressed over the lack of commitment to or training in biblical theology seminary students received at Union: The lack of seriousness with which the students here speak of God and the world is, to say the least, extremely surprising…Over here [in America] one can hardly imagine the innocence with which people on the brink of their ministry, or some of them already in it, ask questions in the seminar for practical theology—for example, whether one should really preach of Christ. In the end, with some idealism and a bit of cunning, we will be finished even with this—that is their sort of mood.15
Mataxas writes that Bonhoeffer clearly saw the influence that Rockefeller and Fosdick had on Union Seminary, citing Bonhoeffer: In an attempt to be more sophisticated than the fundamentalists, whom they hated, they had jettisoned serious scholarship altogether. They seemed to know only what the answer was supposed to be and weren’t much concerned with how to get there. They knew only that whatever answer the fundamentalists came up with must be wrong.
Bonhoeffer believed the graduates of Union Seminary where aiding in the downfall of America. One might say he considered Union graduates as a religious Trojan horse:
Bonhoeffer wrote of the disastrous results of the worldview and monetary influence and control of the Rockefellers:

Its criticism is directed essentially against the fundamentalists…16 Today, the word “fundamentalist” is used as a pejorative by the Fabian Socialists, globalists, and social justice proponents. For years, the Rockefeller family has used its almost unmatched wealth to establish and fund religious organization and policy organizations for global governance and religious ecumenicalism. In 1959, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s report entitled, The Mid-Century Challenge to U.S. Foreign Policy referred to “the task of helping shape a new world order in all its dimensions – spiritual, economic, political, social.” Notice that the first step of influence for what they called “a new world order” was “spiritual.” In Barry Goldwater’s 1979 book With No Apologies, Goldwater outlined the attempts by globalists to use religion and churches to accomplish their goals: …represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power—political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical. [emphasis mine] The globalist, anti-Christian, Council on Foreign Relations is an organization the Rockefellers help to found, develop, and lead throughout the years, and John Dulles was a co-founder of the globalist, anti-Christ organization, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Dulles was also a major player
in the National Council of Churches. John Ensor and Peter Johnson in their book, The Rockefeller Century: Three Generations of America’s Greatest Family document that: A committed internationalist, he [John D. Rockefeller Jr.] financially supported programs of the League of Nations and crucially funded the formation and ongoing expenses of the Council on Foreign Relations and its initial headquarters building, in New York in 1921.17 The son of John D. Rockefeller Jr., David Rockefeller, joined the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) as a director in 1949. David was the youngest to be appointed to that position up to that time, and he later become head of the nominating committee for future membership.18 David Rockefeller was chairman of the CFR board from 1970 to 1985, and today he holds the position of honorary chairman. In 2002, David Rockefeller wrote in his autobiography, Memoirs: For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as “internationalists’”

false teachers, and wolves in sheep’s clothing that will try and co-opt the church for their ungodly goals and agenda: I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
With this admission by David Rockefeller, and the influence of the Rockefeller family on the CFR, there is no biblical reason for any Christian to belong to the CFR. Yet some very well know religious leaders are members. These people are either complicit in the goals and objectives of the CFR or they are what Stalin called “Useful Idiots.”
2 Peter 2:1-2 also warns us that:
In 1990, Steven Rockefeller coauthored Spirit and Nature: Visions of Interdependence which encourages people to discover “the face of the sacred in rocks, trees, animals… and the Earth as a whole.”
there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
As author and researcher Dennis Cuddy reveals:
New Age author Alice Bailey, and the demon that helped her write her books, said that the apostate church would be one of three institutions to lay the groundwork for the “new order.” Now the false-dominant church is laying the foundation for the great rebellion prior to the coming and acceptance of the anti-Christ.
Shortly thereafter, he [Steven Rockefeller] started writing the Earth Charter for Maurice Strong and Mikhail Gorbachev, both of whom said the charter would be like a new Ten Commandments. The charter was presented to the UN in 2002 in the Ark of Hope (modeled after the Biblical Ark of the Covenant), and it promoted “the equitable distribution of wealth within nations and among nations.”
Lutheran scholar Frederic Bauer suggests where this all will lead: To a phase of western or world civilization that is innately religious but hostile to Christianity…or worse, a dominant but false church that brings all of its forces to bear against the truth of God’s Word. 19

www.worldviewtimes.com This new church will become a persecutor of the remnant Bible-believing Christians. As long ago as 1898, Abraham Kuyper warned in the Stone Lectures at Princeton: Do not forget that the fundamental contrast has always been, is still and always will be until the end: Christianity and Paganism, the idols and the living God. The acceptance by many of this false church and its teachers brings to mind the words of the late Vance Havner regarding Satan’s shrewdest strategy for getting his way in the world: The devil is not fighting religion; he is too smart for that. He is producing a counterfeit Christianity so much like the real one that good Christians are afraid to speak out against it. Humanist Richard Rorty, grandson of Fabian Socialist Walter Rauschenbusch who is called “the father of the social gospel,” picks up a Keynesian, Fabian Socialist theme by arguing that traditional socialism will not work. Instead, he argues, a form of government similar to corporate fascism—welfare-state capitalism—will do nicely: Most people on my side of this…cultural war have given up on socialism in light of the history of nationalization enterprises and central planning in Central and Eastern
Europe. We are willing to grant that the welfare-state capitalism is the best we can hope for. Most of us who were brought up Trotskyite now feel forced to admit that Lenin and Trotsky did more harm than good.20 Dr. David Noebel says this welfarestate capitalism is what we now call “interventionism”: Rorty is suggesting that an interventionist approach to economics works best. Interventionism is not a totally state-planned economy nor a completely free market economy, but a combination of the two, where the state plays a role in redistributing wealth created in a partially or mostly free market environment.21 But Rorty’s end nevertheless aligns with the original communists. Karl Marx declared, “My objective in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.” One way that globalists have done this is by co-opting churches, seminaries and Christian ministries and turning them away from the defense and proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and towards a social gospel and anti-Christ theology. Freedom’s Loss, Socialism’s Gain Whether you call it nationalizing an industry or corporate fascism, the result is the same—the death of freedom and private property rights. In the end, Fabian Socialists don’t really care to own it as long as they can control it, and all they need to control an economy is a financial crisis that allows them to change laws, inflate the currency, buy stock in corporations,

John Strachey, a one-time Communist, joined the British Fabian Society in 1943 and become war minister in the Labor Government of Great Britain in 1950. He explains the connection with Keynesian economics this way: The positive part of Keynes’ work was a demand that capitalism should now be regulated and controlled by a central authority….The principal instruments of its policy should be variations in the rate of interest, budgetary deficits and surpluses, public works and a redistribution of personal incomes in equalitarian direction. This positive side of Keynes’ work requires an authority to do the regulating, and that authority can be, in contemporary conditions, nothing else but the government of a nation state.22 Christians who have not “studied to show themselves approved” unto God and who are not committed to the Word of God are at great risk for spiritual deception. The Trojan horse is in our midst. And we must recognize the invasion if we are to stop it.

Glenn Beck’s New Book Reveals He Embraces New Age Theology, Is a Knowledgeable Mormon, and a Universalist brannonhowse.com
By Brannon S. Howse
I
n August of 2010, I predicted on my national radio program that it was only a matter of time before Glenn Beck would release a distinctively religious book that would promote his New Age Mormonism and universalism. I sensed that Glenn was setting himself up to be the politically conservative alternative to Oprah. His new book, “7 Wonders That Will Change Your Life”, could have been written by Oprah for sure. Many self-professing Christians cannot see what Beck is up to but there are those in the unsaved world that seem to be exhibiting more worldview understanding than some in the Christian community. The Business Insider published an article on January 4, 2011 entitled, Glenn Beck’s New Year’s Plan Sounds A Lot Like Oprah’s New Network. Last week (second week of January 2011) Beck released his latest book entitled The Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life. The book is co-authored by psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow. Beck’s new book is nothing less than the promotion of universalism, postmodernism, and pagan spirituality, also known as the New Age Movement.
28
I tried to warn America’s pastors and Christian leaders in early August of 2010, not to unite with Glenn Beck in his spiritual rally that sought to unite all faiths and look to one God. I gave these Christian leaders plenty of evidence that Glenn Beck was a practicing Mormon that was also embracing New Age paganism. Some of these Christian leaders said that Beck was a “new Christian”, “a baby Christian”, “new brother”, a “little lamb”, or “very close to becoming a Christian.” If they think Glenn Beck meets the Biblical descriptions of a Christian then they have no clue what the book of I John says are the Biblical hallmarks of a true follower of Jesus Christ. A friend of mine even e-mailed a mega pastor that was publically supporting Glenn Beck’s 8-28 rally to ask him to be careful about embracing Beck and his black robe regiment because of some of the false theology Glenn was espousing. The pastor replied: Glenn Beck is a new brother and he is learning and growing and coming to the light day by day as he is being discipled by [name of Christian leader removed]. There was once a day when you and I were in the same place he is now. Be careful that you

www.worldviewtimes.com don’t place a yoke on a little lamb rather than an ox. Would this pastor say Oprah Winfrey is a Christian? According to Christian Post, another Mega Church pastor said: I have interviewed persons who have talked specifically with Glenn about his personal salvation – persons extremely well known in Christianity – and they have affirmed (using language evangelicals understand), ‘Glenn is saved’…He understands receiving Christ as savior. How confusing to the unsaved world and to baby Christians it must be to have Christian leaders make this claim about being a Christian in light of Beck’s latest book. Many now believe what Beck is promoting in his book is Christianity because Pastors and Christian leaders have announced that “Glenn is saved.” I have had teenagers e-mail me and come up to me at our conferences and express how confused they are by what Christian leaders have said about Beck being saved when they have heard Beck promote New Age heresy. In light of Beck’s religious and spiritual proclamations in his new book, this would be the week for the Christian leaders and pastors that embraced Beck on the national stage, and proclaimed Beck’s salvation, to release a press release and post a statement on their website that they disagree with Beck’s pagan spirituality and that indeed Beck is not
demonstrating theology and doctrine consist with what the Bible says are the hallmarks of a Christian. These Christian leaders need to apologize for leading people to believe that Beck was a Christian or to believe that Beck held and promoted religious views that were compatible with Biblical Christianity. Dr. Erwin Lutzer, of the historic Moody Church in Chicago, correctly declared in August of 2010 on my radio program that any pastor or Christian leader involved in Beck’s rally would be involved in heresy. I agree 100% with that statement. In his new book Beck and Dr. Ablow promote psychologist Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, New Age authors Robert Pirsig and James Redfied, Buddha, Buddhist teacher Sogyal Rinpoche, Gandhi, The Bible and the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas. Sadly, Glenn is confused and all Christians should pray that he will come to salvation in the Jesus of the Bible through faith and repentance. On page 56 Beck says he read A Course in Miracles by Helen Schucman which is the Bible of the New Age Movement. I wrote and entire chapter in my book Grave Influence on Helen Schucman and the demon she channeled that helped her write the book. I have several friends who were Mormons for many years before accepting the Jesus Christ of the Bible as their Lord and Savior through faith and repentance. Tracy was a Mormon for 26 years and e-mailed me to explain why many Mormons are open

www.worldviewradio.com to New Age Spirituality: It’s not surprising how easy it is for many LDS to get involved in occult practices based on the “power of the priesthood.” For example, energy healing (chakras), cloud-busting, and other mind-power things. My LDS friends and I were always interested in books like The Magic of Believing, Embraced by the Light, and other New Agey kinds of books. I remember seeing Star Wars when I was Mormon and how many of us in the ward (LDS congregation) were comparing The Force to the priesthood power. Since we believed we were on the godhood track, using the phrase “I AM” in the context Glenn uses it, fits in neatly with the power of the priesthood through which worlds are cre-

ated (according to Mormon doctrine). In fact, Mormonism teaches that God did NOT create the universe exnihlo, because God can only manipulate and arrange existing matter; he cannot create it. Thus we see, from the LDS perspective, we too can become I AM, through the divine nature within us. On page 79 Beck and Dr. Ablow promote transcendental meditation and Eastern Mysticism. On 85 we read, “As you commit to unlocking and bringing forth the truth inside you, don’t be afraid to pray for help. Don’t be reticent to sit with yourself in silence and meditate. Connect with the miracle of spirit, of God, that has lived inside you from long before you were born.”

www.worldviewweekend.com Christian mediation is not about “bringing forth the truth inside of you” nor is it about contacting God that has “lived inside you from long before you were born.” This is not Biblical and any Christian that thinks otherwise is either a false convert or is Biblically illiterate.. On page 132 Beck and Ablow proclaim, “Pray to whatever higher power you believe in…Praying that God or Nature or the Cosmos or your own internal, immeasurable reservoir of spirit allows you the courage and faith to find and then face the truth…” In several places readers are told it really does not matter what religion or religious leader they follow. On page 157 Beck writes, “Finding what worked for me made all the difference. Finding what works for you will do the same.” On page 74 the reader is instructed “Just be sure you visit with a minister or therapist from a religion or healing discipline you actually have affinity for, or suspect you might.” On page 236, reincarnation is promoted through the writings of Robert Pirsig’s book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, “…the ‘spirit’ of Chris or the ‘ghost’ of Chris, then you can say without further translation that the spirit or ghost of Chris is looking for a new body to enter.” Beck is a very committed and knowledgeable Mormon:
34
I have had several Christians tell me that Beck does not really know much about the Mormon faith. That is not what Beck writes in his new book. “I questioned everything I could think to question about the faith. I went over my doubts again and again with the church bishop. I read everything there was to read on their website and every word of Mormon Doctrine…I went to anti-Mormon literature for hints, but I found most of it to be unfair or just plain wrong. I tried every trick I could think of to find a contradiction. The problem was that I couldn’t. Mormonism seemed to explain the world and my place in it better than any other faith I had looked at.” (Page 149-150) Beck does not believe in Hell, original sin or that Jesus in the only way: “Latter-day Saints do not believe that your chances ever cease, even with death. They end only with the full understanding and denial of truth by your own exercise of real free will. And even then there is no ‘lake of fire.’ (Page 149) “As Keith likes to say, ‘There’s no original sin left in the world. Everyone’s just recycling pain now.’ “(Page 154.) “There is no infant delivered evil, out of the womb. There never has been. Not even one…Charles Manson was not born evil. Ted Bundy wasn’t. The BTK killer wasn’t. Hitler wasn’t.” (Page 162)
“My family and I just returned from the Memphis Worldview Weekend Rally. . . .my teenage daughter went in with an attitude that she would absolutely not enjoy it. By the break she apologized to me and told me how glad she was that I’d brought the family.” (Rina)
www.worldviewweekend.com The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23) The Bible says that even babies are born with a sin nature and that we are all conceived in sin.
“The third chapter of Exodus helped me start to understand how crucial it was that my focus be on finding God not just in the seas or the cosmos, but in myself.” (Page 57)
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51:5)
If God is everything and everywhere and inside everyone, then I figured He had to be inside me, too… (Page 58)
“People are inherently good.” (Page 165). The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9, The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? Beck’s book uses the phrase “Your truth” or “your true path” or “my truth” at least 23 times. Here are a few examples: “It is never too late to embrace your truth.” (Page 124) “What is your truth whispering?” (Page 130) “Use compassion to stay on the path to your own truth… (Page 161) “...determination to unearth and embrace my truth.” (Page 215) “The fact that I am always attempting to honor my truth… (Page 216) “There is only your truth.” (Page 220) “You must use courage and faith to empty the hard drive of your soul and then fill it with your truth.” (Page 288) Beck’s book promotes the New Age that God dwells within all:
This is the promotion of pantheism and panentheism. “Divine power is still inside you.” (Page 71) “Reach out to people to steady them and enrich them and reflect back to them the light that comes from God inside them. (Page 283) “You won’t doubt your ability to achieve what you want to achieve in this life because you won’t doubt that God is not only by your side, but inside you.” (Page 254) Beck’s book promotes the New Age idea that you need to tap into a positive energy for a successful and happy life: (Ten times). Some examples include: You have a polestar inside you. It is connected with all the energy in the universe. When you begin to follow that star you align yourself with immeasurable, inexplicable forces that will actually help you manifest your best intentions. (Page 79) The current energy that flows in your favor when you stop denying what you have lived through and how

the moral decline of
America What will future generations say about us? With the cultural shift of our educational system teaching our children to be open-minded about same sex relationships, it is no wonder our children are left dazed and confused. The age of innocence keeps getting younger as each year passes. As guardians, what are we doing to protect their innocence? Quietly sitting and doing nothing is not the answer.
We care. A simple way to foster change and to show that you care about these moral issues is to stop funding companies that contribute to the moral decline of America.
Change starts now. By cleaning up your investment portfolios now, you can leave a legacy for your children, one the shows your devout Christian values and beliefs. Call today to find out what is in your portfolio. 1055 Maitland Center Commons Maitland, Florida 32751

There’s still
health care for people of faith after health care “reform” If you are a committed Christian and do not want to violate your faith by purchasing health insurance that forces you to help pay for abortions and other unbiblical medical practices, you can put your faith into practice by sharing medical needs with fellow believers through Samaritan Ministries. The text below is from pages 327 and 328 of the 2,409-page health care “reform” bill, and provides protection for people of faith who join in sharing medical needs through health care sharing ministries: “…an organization, members of which share a common set of ethical or religious beliefs and share medical expenses among members in accordance with those beliefs…” Sec. 1501 (b) of HR 3590 at pg. 327, 328 Every month the nearly 16,000* member households of Samaritan Ministries share more than $3.8 million* in medical needs directly—one household to another. They also pray for one another and send notes of encouragement. The monthly share for a family of any size has never exceeded $320*, and is even less for singles, couples, and single-parent families. There are also special share amounts for members aged 25 and under, and 65 and over.

Christians also need to be ready to explain to their unsaved family and friends why Glenn Beck’s worldview will not lead them to God as their savior but as their judge. Nowhere in Beck’s new book does he mention the Biblical gospel. What Glenn is promoting is the same lie promoted by Satan in Genesis 3:1-5. I am fearful that the spiritual poison Beck is promoting is not seven wonders that will change your life but in fact, lies that will condemn the souls of millions for eternity.
…you will elicit the same positive energy from others. When you stop pretending to be just fine and start admitting that you have struggled, just as we all have, then spiritual energy will fill you.” (Page 117) I wrote this article because I want discerning Christians to have the information they need to refute unbiblical teaching. I want Christians to be watchmen who warn their Christian family and friends about the spiritual deception of people like Glenn Beck,
