ontinuing an annual tradition at the May Contact Breakfast, The Chamber Foundation, Inc., the not-for-profit educational organization of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, will proudly award 31 scholarships to students planning to further their education in the Hudson Valley and beyond. This year, thanks to amazing community support at events like the Cosimo DiBrizzi Celebrity Servers Dinner, Twisted Gala, GolfA-Thon and more, the Foundation is able to present a record-setting amount of scholarship dollars, and will give over $53,000 in scholarship money to worthy recipients. At the May Contact Breakfast on Wednesday, May 15 from 7:309 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center, the
2013 scholarship winners will be officially presented their awards and ceremoniously introduced to attendees. These students represent some of the best and brightest in the region and are great names to know for the future. Chamber Foundation scholarships range from very broad to very specific in scope, some offered to students across disciplines, while others are precisely targeted for those pursuing a career in music, journalism, culinary arts, and more.
