Networking, celebration at Business After Hours

ust like in October, Business After Hours pops up early in the calendar this month to allow everyone ample time to recover from their tryptophan intake over Thanksgiving. The monthly networking event will take place as part of La Puerta Azul’s fifth anniversary celebration on Wednesday, November 14 from 5-7 p.m. The Chamber will cut a ribbon in commemoration at 4:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend Business After Hours, however pre-registration is requested. If you’ve never taken advantage of the opportunity to grow your business by sitting down for a morning meal with Charlie North and the Chamber family, make plans now to attend the November Contact Breakfast on Wednesday, November 21 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center. The CSO Committee will be recognized for their contributions during National Philanthropy Month. All attendees at the November Contact Breakfast are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to those in need. The Chamber’s Ambassador committee has partnered with our friends at Dutchess Outreach to collect canned and dry goods, and any donations are greatly appreciated. During the winter season, tune in to your local radio stations to find out if your Chamber committee meeting or event has been cancelled. If there are cancellations or delays for Poughkeepsie, Arlington, Wappingers, Hyde Park or Spackenkill schools, all committee meetings are cancelled with the exception of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings. at the door. Coat the community The annual Mid-Hudson Subaru Coat Drive will kick-off Saturday, November 10 at noon at the dealership, 1715 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. Chamber members are asked to bring new or gently used coats to the Contact Breakfast on November 21.
