His job as staff secretary – the youngest ever appointed – was to read everything meant for the president; decide what went through and what didn’t; and to preside over the decisionmaking process in the West Wing. Maloney aims to grow the economy by restoring manufacturing to the Hudson Valley, ending tax breaks for corporations that ship jobs over-

EvEnt policy updatE In order to comfortably accommodate our members and guests and ensure sufficient catering, space, parking, etc., we are updating our event policy as follows: • We are now able to take credit and debit cards at events where there is a charge (such as the Contact Breakfast), so we will no longer be invoicing. • No-shows at events previously registered for are strongly discouraged. For the Contact Breakfast, no-shows will be charged $25 for members and $30 for non-members to offset catering charges. • Walk-ins for complimentary events such as Business After Hours are strongly discouraged and may not be able to be accommodated due to our need to provide attendee numbers to the venue. Please make sure to register in advance for our events and treat those registrations as a commitment.
