Due to time constraints I have produced a sample article for magazine E11EVEN. This article is based on plastic pollution as it is a current topical issue and I have taken inspiration from research for my dissertation to produce it. The article is represented by creative visuals of hand created plastic fish and sushi, together with burned plastic bottles to create the tentacles of an octopus. The plastic imagery communicates the message of plastic pollution and how it may potentially affect humans who consume seafood.
Currently in society we are heading towards a digital age and the issue of “is print dead? keeps reoccurring. By creating E11EVEN I hope to create a refreshing, creative magazine which people would want to collect. My research into printed matter showed that many people still like something physical to read. Each issue would focus on one topic with a variety of articles on the same theme.

The layout has been kept clean and simplistic drawing focus on the images which show multiple meanings. I have produced a digital and screen printed copy in order for the reader to get the feel of the article.

I had plenty of freedom in this project, with few guidelines. The guidelines included adding in photographs from both photographers, making sure all outfits are included to demonstrate the full collection and the synopsis giving information to readers of what the collection is about. Due to the visual impact of the photographs I decided to go for a simple geometric format with clean black text, which fitted together nicely on a concertina format of 6 pages per side.
For this project I was asked to produce a look book for Holly’s collection. The look book would be on show with her portfolio at Graduate Fashion Week, giving a professional finish to her collection.

The company will target busy commuter areas at key points of the day such as lunch and dinner; promoting a healthier option and raising awareness of food waste. It will communicate a rewarding experience because not only have you got a great tasting meal but have also helped UK farmers gain extra income.
To help address this problem Edgey Veg has been created. Edgey Veg is a pop up company taking perfectly edible vegetables from producers that would otherwise go to waste and turns them into delicious on the go food.
|n today’s society it appears that it is becoming socially acceptable to waste vast quantities of food. In particular 20 – 40 % of crops are not even marketed due to cosmetic standards and supermarket regulations.

The company has been created to help reduce vegetable waste because as much as 50% of production is wasted every year. Not only is it a solution but it is also a branded company making an impact on the consumer market with a catchy name, great packaging and consistent designs. The store will draw attention to the wastage issues in the UK, allowing consumers to see that our farmers need our help, to help make a difference to society. Why not start with Edgey Veg?
With transparency about where the company sources their produce and the Company philosophy, Edgey Veg will gain credibility with the public making it a credible and effective way of reducing wastage.

SIMPLYSALT is intended to be a unisex company using masculine colours with a simple gender neutral decoration of sea urchins. The sea urchins communicate to the consumer that the product is natural and from the sea. The product is 100% natural therefore no chemicals or perfumes will be associated with the product, so there is no need to test on animals like many others on the market.
