The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson earns award

The initial phase of the 135-acre premier project is complete with a 440,000 square foot multi-tenant office building housing major corporations including Nationwide Insurance, Stealth Partner Group, Quantum, Wells Fargo, and Sigma Company’s Bar-S Foods. Another 5-story office building is complete along the 101 housing Choice Hotels International’s technology headquarters, as well as a 6-story parking structure and retail building that is home to a second location for local restaurant, PITCH. The highly-anticipated Hilton at Cavasson is now complete, which also houses Scottsdale’s newest bar and restaurant, the Desert Pony Tavern. The Southwest-inspired gastropub features an open-air dining experience and an impressive cocktail menu.

The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson, owned and developed by Nationwide Realty Investors and managed by Columbus Hospitality Management, has been recognized with a new build award in the Hilton Hotel & Resorts category of the Hilton Americas Development Awards. Hilton Cavasson was one of 10 new build award winners in the Development Awards by Brand category.

The Organization of World Heritage Cities recently granted the city of Scottsdale membership among an elite group of more than 200 cities from around the world that are home to UNESCO World Heritage sites.

With this acceptance, the organization recognizes Scottsdale as the location of Frank Lloyd Wright’s desert home and laboratory, Taliesin West, and welcomes the city as an active participant in international efforts to protect and preserve the heritage of mankind.

“Scottsdale is proud to join the Organization of World Heritage Cities in solidarity with communities from around the world,” Mayor David D. Ortega said.

“Taliesin West truly exemplifies where exceptional design intersects with our Sonoran Desert environment, here in Scottsdale.”
