Dr. Steve WilkinsonAWARD RECIPIENTS & NOMINEES
The Clinical Excellence Award is presented to the student who was outstanding throughout their clinical education. They provided compassionate and altruistic care, carefully balancing the patient’s needs with evidence-based practice. Their strong sense of duty and integrity represented themselves, the clinic, RMU, and the physical therapy profession with honor.
A Utah native, Dr. Tyson Herrick always had a passion for athletics and helping people, which drew him to physical therapy. Since graduating from the physical therapy program at Nova Southeastern University in 2018, Dr. Herrick has worked as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist during the week and in inpatient neuro rehabilitation on weekends. He has loved working with students throughout his career because they ask hard questions, keep him on his toes, and have high expectations for him. Dr. Herrick has a passion for teaching and is grateful for the chance to work with RMU students in his outpatient clinic in Payson, Utah.
