AWARDS Core Values: Learning Centered Award Awarded to someone in the class who consistently demonstrates an attitude of encouraging growth, who explores possibilities within a supported learning environment, who empowers others to rise to their highest potential, and to challenge conventional thinking. Core Values: Service Award Awarded to a member of the class who has demonstrated that they value people above all else, who serves the members of the class, who models service to our patients and clients, the community, and beyond. Core Values: Authentic Award Awarded to a member of the class who demonstrates that we recognize our imperfections and welcomes growth stemming from both success and failure. This individual is an example of someone who believes in the unlimited capacity to find solutions, models gratitude, seeks to understand, to empathize, and to forgive. Core Values: Scholarship Award This award is given for scholarship and research contributions. The awardee(s) have an excellent record of scholarly activity as evidenced by a high GPA, they have done some type of research, whether it be a thesis or a capstone project, and they perhaps have presented this research at a state or national conference. GRIT Award: Grace, Resolve, Intuition, Tenacity This award is for student(s) who have faced, with grace, some type of hurdle in their graduate career and who has persevered through that challenge to obtain excellence. Clinical Inquiry Award This award is given to a student who has distinguished themselves by acquiring content knowledge and applying that knowledge to their clinical work. The awardee imbues others with a sense that they strive for excellence, collegiality, and giving. This awardee is patient-centered, and has made the transition from student to scholar and are well on their way to being a respected professional.
