Our Ceremony on Lake Otchipwe-kitchi-gami 750. — July 10th, 2022

Upon

the

Heavenly

Shores

of

Lake

Otchipwe-kitchi-gami, we are walking upon great white boulders constructed as a pier that

extended many hundreds of meters into the vast sea-like waters shining before us. It is a bright sunny day and water is glinting royal blue beneath the aqua-blue skies.

The winds are powerfully blowing as waves crest and crash upon these great stones,

sending glittering white sprays many meters into the air.

The sheer splendor and sanctifying effect of this sacred “shrine” is wondrous. I say “shrine” only in the sense that any location held as sacred by these Native American heavens, in this case for the Ojibwe tribe, is in fact such a place — for prayer, purification and attunement.

As we walk into deeper and deeper waters, the waves roll ever larger, and crash with ever more force into the rocky pier. We are being drenched by the white sprays but the Universal Sun is brilliant and as such, the sprays are tinged with rainbow tints of amazing beauty. We feel thrilled and enchanted and purified to an extreme degree.

Awe falls upon us and there is an ever growing sense of The Ever-Present Great Spirit taking us into The Divine Being. We are no longer separated in any sense from Our Creator but walking and breathing and rejoicing in joyous rapture and oneness.

The pier appears to reach even to the horizons, disappearing in the curvature of this world’s

heavens. For this reason, we feel our both our mortality and immortality very keenly. There is a powerful impression of entering the Infinity of the Universe. Our state of consciousness is one of serenity that is more absolute than any we have yet experienced.

Sudden inspiration finds us each lifting our hands to the skies, kneeling down on the wet slabs, raising our faces also to the holy waters raining down on us. We shout our prayers of gladness for all our worth:

We praise You, O Great Spirit of The Divine Heavens, of The Divine Waters, of The Divine Worlds!

Our Joys in You are Complete, overflowing our

heart

and

spirit,

beyond

our

comprehension but full of all our love.

Send us forth in spirit and in physical reality

to aid our brothers and sisters in every way which you will for us!

Today

we give thanks to You, Our Creator,

Gizhe Manido, for so many blessings. given.

We give thanks to them all things beautiful in this place we have been given.

We all thank You, Gizhe Manido, for this love in our hearts we have.
