Prayer: We are striving to be open to Thy Divine Inspiration, O Creator. Right now, yes, but as often as possible during our day. It seems strange that despite the fact that when we do make the effort to tune into You, we feel so much better, so much more at peace and happy, but yet we cannot do this except for small portions of our day. I suppose some of this is due to the demands for attention we must give to our daily duties. Yet it seems that there should be a greater Avenue of Oneness with Thee, whereby are able to maintain our attunement even while doing work or relaxing.
I am hearing now (by inspiration) that this “constitutional” oneness is only developed over time by making the sustained effort to do so. Such ONENESS requires us to perfect ourselves in giving greater care and service to those around us, towards thinking more of the needs of others whom we may be able to help.
