True Spiritual Service is indeed best expressed in acts and words of kindness and upliftment. Yet, how can these take place in sincerity and with progressing power unless one’s spirit is put forth daily in spirit to pray, to meditate, to attune, to envision, to bless, all in Unity with The Ever-Present Spirit Universal?

Thus the importance of engaging in Spiritual Activity should not be downplayed any more than Objective Good Works of Service. “Let us then pray as we live and live as we pray.”

I don’t consider myself an expert at prayer but I thought I would take the time to describe what kind of things I might be doing when I pray. It is a wonderful thing especially to be able to take part together in a communion of prayers for a good purpose, whether it is for inspiration, healing, renewal, upliftment or for general blessings. Prayer is a very personal thing and not only do each of us likely pray in our unique ways, but we ourselves should probably try to avoid praying in the same ways every time to avoid complacency and in order to enhance the spontaneity, power, and life of our prayer energy. In fact, I would recommend that every time we turn our focus to a new person or project or group to pray for, or words of prayerful blessing

should at least be slightly different, in order to maximize their spiritual power. The reasoning behind this is that The True Innermost Power of Our Soul is not reached by formulaic verses and dogma but instead best by our Ever-Present Inspiration.

At any rate, I would especially like to share some thoughts about group prayer because our group is organizing two kinds of prayer sessions: one for vision-traveling and one for blessing.

First of all, there are times when it is difficult to pray at all when you are tired or sick or overburdened in mind. No one need worry about joining a group prayer session when they clearly do not feel well. At such times, the best one I can usually do is simply let my mind float or rest in a beautiful scene or restful feeling. Falling asleep can also be appropriate at times in a prayerful / meditative state.

The next consideration is that working alone will never equal the good that can be done working with others as a team. And as a team, it should be recognized that group members can be either mortal or angelic spirits.

Therefore, making contact for the purpose of working as a spiritual group, both with mortal co-workers, and with those good spirits in the heavens who may be helping with the directing of the prayers. And do keep in mind that such united work involving mortals does not necessitate that they are physically in the same location. Spirit is omnipresent and so the spirit of mortals can therefore work as one though far away in body.

The first key to being well aligned for prayer is attuning oneself to God, The Ever-Present, The All Highest one can conceive of.

Doing so provides greater protection, inspiration, unity, and the most powerful energy possible for the prayer session to create the desired goal. A short introductory prayer which acts for connecting all participants in the Creator is one of the best ways to do this. And thus, never fail to make “God� the leader of your work and group.

While praying, keep in your mind that the goal for that session where you call forth your own inner immortal spirit to unfold its own light and love, with real feeling, forgetting self while truly putting all of one’s heart into the matter in oneness with the spiritual group as a whole. To do this, you need faith, belief, confidence, and trust, in yourself, in your partners, in the heavens and in God. Remember that your prayer energy shall be flowing to join with the energy of others in the group, and then towards helping those whom you intend to help. It helps to visualize this in any way you can.

No two people pray alike and while you can and should experiment with regards to how you pray, it must be your own chosen way, your true self in spiritual action. The Power of God is in each of us and especially all the power of the heavens is at your disposal to use for the good when you are working in service to help others. The only limits are our own ability, understanding, and faith to use this power. The prayers of the righteous, the prayers of the angels transform us, creating all good things that can be conceived, as if by magic yet it is but spiritual science.

As far as specific techniques go, here is a list of ideas you might use:

1.

affirmations that use words which you personally find very potent and inspiring, sometimes aloud, and sometimes silently;

2.

the visualization of virtues (light, love, harmony, ‌) people, symbols, and places;

3.

use of meditative music, graceful motions and clapping, and even dance; 5

4.

chanting and singing;

5.

burning incense and / or candles;

6.

praying in your home shrine (a specific place with a few simple adornments) or any natural area of beauty and purity;

7.

non-dogmatic prayer rituals that involve all of the preceding in a fairly spontaneous fashion that will link us with the higher heavens; and

9.

traveling subjectively in a vision or objectively to spiritual realms while with angelic guides.

With regard to spiritual travel, this involves both spiritual concentration and calmness, faith, trust, as well as spiritual imagination and spiritual linking with the higher heavens. It is recommend that your journeys be recorded in writing either during the travel (this is possible in the more subjective style) or afterwards, so that your spiritual senses become more 6

defined and put to greater use. Just as in creating blessings, spiritual vision-travel takes practice to perfect and while there will be similarities, each must devise and continually improve upon their own unique methods to succeed in such spiritual work.

Whether engaging in vision-travel or in blessings, it is easy to notice how much better one feels afterwards. For whenever we engage in the work of the angels, our entire being is uplifted with the Positive Energy of the Heavens above. And in a similar fashion, this means we also feel better as we volunteer to help others in need or perform acts of kindness or speak words of kindness and encouragement. Our goal in all this is to act, to live, to speak, to feel, to think as the angels do so that we may the better progress as a person and fulfill our divine destiny in all the good work areas we are capable of. Such work, humble as it may seem at the time, is of eternal benefit.

Yet no matter how much or how well we serve others with angelic love and light, humility and respect for all are always needed.

Here I include a narrative example of such visions-travel: 7

The Golden Pyramid of Power

I feel submerged within waters of <spirit> â&#x20AC;Ś I am floating to the surface â&#x20AC;Ś The water is sacred for it is dissolving the impurities encasing my being. It feels good and soon I burst through the surface. I begin to wade out of the lake toward the beach shores which are a golden brown. I stop and raise my head to look around. It is as if I am in another world, which looks like a land of the far past but feels more like the near future. Lines of green palm trees sway beautifully in different directions, circumscribing the area. Yet right before me is a very large and golden pyramid. It looks around 80 feet to a 100 feet high.

The surface of the pyramid is inscribed with symbols of language which I cannot clearly see, also in gold though. Stars are shining incredibly clearly and brightly in the sky but it looks fairly bright out, similar to just after dawn, or just before sunset, a golden hue. Suddenly, instantaneous streams of white light, bolts of energy from beyond my field of vision, streak and flash to the apex of the pyramid; recharging it somehow. Within the space of 30 seconds or so, hundreds of flashes of such energy empower the structure. The ground is humming and a shaft of light surges upward and begins to revolve almost immediately in an immense vortex forming from a blend of blueish, violet, and white light. Then a silent blast or sonic boom reverberates

and a burst of energy in an even more refined state which I cannot see but can feel bursts outward in concentric surges from the pyramid and passes through all within its sphere, which would include me and all our world. I hear a voice once more:

Through the Great Spirit, The Great Mind, The Great Heart of All that is, Jehovih empowers all Life and Motion of our Worlds within Worlds. Each of us is a part of and a particle of the Living Source of All Energy, the Universal Sun. As minute atoms of the Creator’s Cosmos, we are expanding into infinity by our efforts to understand and to love all that has and is life. The message that we, the Co-Creators of the Universe bring to you today is to seek ever to unite every aspect of goodness within your being with that of all others in your sphere. Doing so, with love and friendship, you together will not only discover the mysteries of the universe, but will begin learning the knowledge which makes a heaven a heaven, and immortal life immortal.

We send our most cherished love now out to you all.

As regards where to perform one’s spiritual work, one’s own room is perhaps the best venue for such; however, you can pray and bless while exercising or cleaning or taking a walk.

Nevertheless, do not do so in a crowded or public place because unclean and low spirits and their dark energies may latch onto your aura.

Better results will be obtained in being spontaneous and creative, and being willing to switch to a new format if it feels like a better one is possible, either in the middle of a longer prayer session or for each new separate session. Pray from your innermost spirit and be alive to your true self who is God within you.

Here are some important things to remember about affirmations:

1.

Always phrase affirmations in the present tense, not in the future.

It’s important to create your desire as if it already exists. Don’t say, “I will get a wonderful new job,” but rather, “I now have a wonderful new job of service,” or I am being blessed with a wonderful new job of service.” This is not lying to yourself; it is acknowledging the fact that everything is created first on the inner plane, before it can manifest in external reality.

2.

Always phrase affirmations in the most positive way you can. Affirm what you do want, not what you don’t want.

In other words, don’t say, “I no longer sleep poorly at night” but rather, “I now sleep fully and peacefully, waking up on time and full of energy in the morning.” This ensures that you are creating the most positive possible mental image.

At certain times though, you may find it helpful to phrase affirmations negatively, especially when you are working on clearing out specific emotional blocks or bad habits, such as, “I don’t need to get tense in order to get things accomplished.” If so, you should always follow this type of affirmation with a positive one, which describes that which you desire to create, such as, “I now stay deeply relaxed and centered, and everything is accomplished easily and effortlessly.”

In general, the shorter and simpler the affirmation, the more effective.

An affirmation should be a clear statement that conveys a strong feeling; the more feeling it conveys, the stronger impression it makes on your mind. Affirmations that are long, wordy and theoretical lose their emotional impact and become too mental.

4.

Always choose affirmations that feel totally right for you.

What works for one person may not work at all for another. An affirmation should feel positive, expansive, freeing, and/or supportive. If it doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t, find another one, or try changing the words until it feels right.

Of course, you may feel emotional resistance to any affirmation when you first use it, especially one which is really powerful for you and is going to make a real change in your consciousness. That is simply our natural fear of change and growth.

5. Always remember that you are creating something new and fresh.

You are not trying to redo or change what already exists. To do so would be to resist what is, which creates conflict and struggle. Take the attitude that you are accepting and handling whatever already exists in your life, and at the same time taking every moment as a new opportunity to begin creating exactly what you desire and will make you happiest.

6. Affirmations can be used to counter or change your negative feelings or emotions.

The more you feel hatred, anger, depression, resentment, or lust, the greater the chance things will get worse for everyone, as your negative feelings transform into a kind of “curse” that harms both you and those around you.

Therefore, it is important to accept, magnify, expand, and share all your positive feelings, while transforming “negative” feelings into positive ones (alienation changing into oneness, for example). At the same time, affirmations can help you create a new point of view about life that will enable you to have more and more satisfying experiences from now on.

7. Try as much as possible to create a feeling of belief, an experience that your affirmations can be true.

Temporarily (at least for a few minutes) suspend your doubts and hesitations, and put your full mental and emotional energy into them. As you spiritual work brings results, your faith in your own self-mastery will improve.

If doubts, resistance, or negative thoughts are getting in the way of doing your affirmations, do one of the clearing processes (doing intense exercise, fasting, forgiving others, atoning for oneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s transgressions, entering a sauna, doing natural water immersions, listening to calming meditative music) or write these affirmations first before reading and mentally creating blessings from them.

Rather than saying affirmations by rote, try to get as deep a feeling, as strong a faith that you can, so that you really have the greatest power possible at present to create that reality (which in fact you do!) you are seeking. This will make a big difference in how effective they are.

Affirmations can be used alone, or in combination with visualizing or imaging. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s very effective to include affirmations as part of your regular creative visualization meditation periods.

Affirmations are the most powerful and inspiring when they include references to a spiritual source. For example, mentioning God the Creator, the Universe, The All Highest, The Ever-Present Spirit, The Great Spirit, Divine Love, or whatever ideal you choose for each session or for each set of affirmations, adds powerful spiritual energy to your affirmation as it acknowledges

and draws upon the Cosmic Source of All That is Good.

Blessings are generally repeated more than 1 time; for example, perhaps the same blessing expression may be repeated 2 to 6 times, or for a length of time, such as for a minute. They may be sung aloud or silently, said aloud or silently. Blessings may be created along with the playing or performance of music or dance or exercise. They may be part of specific spiritual rites or done simply while doing everyday activities such as while cleaning a room or traveling somewhere. It is recommended that the blessings be carried out in either a pure and natural setting, such as in a park or garden, or in a consecrated area which is strongly linked with a holy or devotional atmosphere.

Blessings should be created in harmony and unison of our Creator and the higher angelic realms. The most positive feelings and thoughts should be generated for the intended recipient, with as much Loving, Joyous Faith in our Creator, ourselves, and in the intended beneficiary as possible. The actual wording of the blessings can be exactly as have been written, by oneself or others, or even better, in words of power created inspirationally by the blessor. I often use different combinations of particularly spiritually positive words from lists (see below). I try to not always use the same words or expressions, as too much

redundancy can be a bit of a block. It may be important to keep in mind that the more positively dynamic the feelings, faith, and visualizations created by the blessor, the more powerful the blessings' effects will tend to be.

May our Creator bless you and use your blessings to bring all that is good to all. Let us unite to do the Will of our Creator.

Each day, I do a set of blessings for:

(1) myself, as to what is currently important for my health and success and spiritual progress and especially with regard to becoming one with the Creator;

(2) for those individuals (family, friends, co-workers, students) in my life I wish to pray for on a particular day; and

(3) for various groups (Peace Corps, Native American tribes, orphan children, and specific nations, cities, schools and natural areas, and more).

Here are some examples of blessing affirmations:

I have the infinite creative power of the Creator within me.

Divine love is working through me here and now to create this.

The All Light within me is creating miracles in my life here and now.

I am one with the Great Spirit.

My higher self is guiding me in everything that I do.

Sacred Peace lives within me and manifests in the world through me.

I give thanks to the natural environment s of the United Kingdom for nurturing and sustaining me every day.

The Light of the Angels surrounds me.

The Love of God enfolds me.

The Power of The Universe flows through us, healing of us all ailments.

We are a blessing, love is our power.

The sadness and distress of all in our lives is being transformed into divine joy,

Sometimes people who have studied Eastern philosophy or are on a certain consciousness growth path feel a hesitation about using creative visualization when they first hear of it. Their conflict comes from the apparent paradox they see between the idea of â&#x20AC;&#x153;being here now,â&#x20AC;? letting go of attachments and desires, and the idea of setting goals and creating what you want in life. I say apparent paradox because, in actuality, there is no contradiction between the two teachings when they are understood on a deeper level.

They are both important principles that must be understood and lived in order for you to become a conscious person. In order to explain how they fit together, allow me to share with you my viewpoint about the process of inner growth.

You will find as you pray more and more fully, your attunement with the universe will make even daily life a thing of greater health, success, joy, and happiness. There is a direct result of both being receptive to Divine Inspiration such as in going with 20

the inner flow of inspiration, and as well as acting powerfully in service and good works where there is a time to going forth to work for the good of others and the world.

For both our good works and creative powerful blessings work together with all good persons to fashion New Good Realities for our lives and our communities.

Next, let us discuss a bit concerning the choice of words to use in the making of creative blessing affirmations.

The Matrices of Mystic Words are basically the building blocks of the blessings. They are key starting points for creating the ideas, where sentences are fashioned using these terms, which at their essence may be described as ideals, virtues, elementals, universals of thought and feeling, mind and heart, soul and spirit. Being such, there is no perfect set of words or affirmations. I myself have been continually updating them as I become more inspired or more empowered using certain terms or principles or as my understanding of them deepens. That is the way it should be; a continual synthesis and spiraling ascension of Mystic Blessing Creation that will create higher and higher realities of UNIVERSAL SPIRIT that shall germinate, blossom and unfold into continually improving expressions of The Great Creator Ever-Present and Eternal.

Whatever the Spiritual Activity, one must always seek to go deeper, rise higher, always starting within oneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s being, and then expanding throughout heavens and universe. Start from WITHIN INNERMOST and then TRANSCEND BEYOND. All of this is like learning to play the piano where practice and sincere effort improve the results and reality as temporal experiences progress.

Of course, whatever spiritual activity one creates for the good of the world, all is best done together with those of harmonious intentions, fulfilling the Will of The Great Spirit in service to all with Love, with Light, with Faith in ALL.

There is certainly more to be said about prayer, blessings and good works and other suggestions and ideas would be most welcome.
