The communication was written by Martha Washington, using the mediumship of Mrs. Upham Hendee, of San Francisco, California. It was commenced in 1876, and written in sections, at different sittings, extending into January 1877.
As this communication is from one whose husband is still called the Father of our country both now angels of the progressed life, it becomes of national interest. Having read it over and over, it appears too precious a message to be longer retained as personal property. I therefore put it in print, that all for a mite may learn more of human destiny than to my knowledge has ever before come to earth.
This book has exceeded my expectations , not long , many passages and stories I had wished were longer, with many spiritual world truths come out from a wide arrays of topics covered, probably a top 25 spiritualism book. Christianity has always had spiritualistic element to it, and therefore should be considered a divine aspect of all of our lives.
