When you move the cursor over a handle, the cursor changes to a double-pointed arrow, allowing you to resize the selected markup. When you place the cursor over the markup, the cursor changes to a four-sided arrow, allowing you to move the markup to another location.

You can also use the Selection tool to drag a rectangle around multiple markups to select groups of markups. This allows you to mass move, copy or delete an annotation.

3.2 Saving Annotations as New Revisions
Saving Markups
After you have placed markups on your document or image, you must save them in order for them to display during Presentation in TrialDirector. You can save the changes to the original item using the same name, or you can create a revision of the original. Revisions are created in Document Manager as new items using the original document name with an added extension (01, 02, etc.). The revisions can then be viewed during Presentation by using specific keyboard commands. Within the Annotation Toolbox click the diskette, which is the Save button to begin the saving process.
Save on Current Page Save As New Revision
If you would like to save the markups without creating a new revised item, click Save and the markups will be saved to the original document. If you want to create a revised copy of the original document, click Save as New Revision and the item will be saved as a new item under the original. If you do not want to save the markups at all, click Cancel on the popup menu when you attempt to select another item.
To save all markups on the current image as global watermarks, select the Save this Markup as a Global Markup. The watermark will not appear on the images until they are exported with the watermark applied or printed.
Exercise #7 Using three of the annotation tools described above, create three new revisions on the same item under either the Docs tab or the Photos tab.
