• Raise the bar in terms of quality of execution of the IT function in Spain and Portugal, as well as improved collaboration with business colleagues

Functions: • Manages the pipeline of technology projects and staffs resources accordingly; • Directs information management budgeting, strategic and tactical planning, business process re-engineering, and database system strategy;

Competencies description: • Business knowledge: • I will guide and influence technical direction and vendor strategies across different markets. I should not talk the language of technology with their peers, but focus more on the implications for the business. • Problem solving: • I should naturally simplify the complex when they explain initiatives and projects. • Pace and urgency in recommending and implementing technology decisions and an intense awareness of the cost effectiveness of different technology solutions • Influence: • Capacity to persuade clients related to solutions through a technological platform. • Execution: • I will set hard metrics for performance and have excellent project management disciplines, coupled with a personal inclination to drill into detail and to take corrective action early and decisively, when projects are off track or people not performing • Customer Value Creation: • Balance to prepare presentations for a internal client as to have the best impact possible during the meeting (pre-sales skills). • Talent Development: • A strong track record of hiring, retaining, developing and motivating technical talent (1 SD and a groups of +10 technical) providing an inspiring translation of a corporate mission into specific technical objectives
