3. Jodi Knutson, UW-Stout Interior Design Furniture Studio Fall 1993 Connections Project Working prototype of end table project exploring the world of connections. This table used easily purchased materials of pressboard, aluminum and oak and is constructed by assembling the components using no additional fasteners.

Students were asked to define light for themselves with support of research and to design and build a working prototype of their personal expression of the definition of light. This design was stimulated by the idea of spark.

7. Jeff Stazack-UW-Stout Trek USA collaborative project Industrial Design III Fall 1993 Presentation model of an extremely innovative self tightening foot pedal for the bicycle industry. As one puts the foot inside the pedal the strap begins to close and secure the foot. Upon the desire to release the foot one makes a slight adjustment by pressing on the pivoting edge to open the strap.

Joe McCarthy, UW-Stout PUMA Collaborative Project Tension Training Running Shoe Industrial Design III, Spring 1994 Final presentation model and detail image of shoe designed to increase muscle development in legs while walking, running or exercising. Tension rods are designed to be calibrated to different tension levels for users.
