ABOUT ME

01

It is a quite intersting thing that people have discretionary money support to buy some little creative things which can build people's taste and stylish their life. Nowadays, more and more personal custormized products full of our daily life, and they certainly become a new fashion. As a girl, I always have shoe problem in my home, doen't mean too much, just have no place to put them. I deeply need a shoe storage stuff to rescue my hopeless shoe messing but still want it looks fabulous. Then I recall personal custormized, why not do by myself? No one in the world knows one's taste but oneself! However, fact cannot go that well-off, pattens in my mind always works horrible on papers, though I never thought to give up, start from little, and one day I can be good.

LOGO

02

Honestly, I don't think a good logo should be meaningful, or make a well sense. My brand name only include my name and what I work with - shoebox, in another word, cube. I prefer hand wraiting style but I have to say a Chinese always have a lack of native English wraiting. I tried several times, still looks like Chinese characters, anyway I stumbled into a right place - IT IS A CUBE, right?

STYLISH - INDUSTRIA

Loft, industrialism, wrought iron... It is a interesting thing that nowaday people fall in love with this style again after 2nd Industrial Revolution, this form of loft conversion has its origins in the US. This form of loft first became popular in the SoHo section of New York City during the 1960s. Artist created living spaces on the upper levels of obsolete industrial buildings, sometimes located in the heart of the city. For me, I love this style most as well. It is a fantastic experience to transform an empty attic space into a functional room. I picked black and yellow as main colors, and hope that I can put metal elements into my INDUSTRIA CUBE outcomes.

04

STYLISH - MINIMALIST

Whatever time goes by, black and white always are the most popular colors in the world. People might hate pink, purple even green, but they can never reject black and white. This MINIMALIST style, specificly is minimal stylish outcome, only build with black and white, maxmizing the usage of paper and characters, added some green plants, can deeply show a single minimal life. I would love to create at leaste three grouping box to fit this style, and try to achieve eye-catching.

05

STYLISH - NEW TOKYO

In Japan, you might don't know New Tokyo, but must know Harajuku. This coloful street culture is kind of Japanese young people favorite, which is located in Shibuya, Tokyo, be famous for its bold color-mixing looks. New Tokyo style shows a creative ruleless personality, and quickly heat 12-18 years old students. I used pink & blue mixing to give out this cutting-edge style, but can only get a tip of iceberg. Hopefuly I can hold a breaking through afterward.

06

STYLISH - BUSINESS

Before I started to make a mood board, I got a lot of suggestions from my survey, and most of people hope that cubes can fit their home style, and that's why I go from 4 different home style then keep work on specific design. BUSINESS, it has less words need to describe, quite formal, refinement, maybe Thom Browne can cover every detiles. The only thing might different to others is, mirror. Dress professionally, keep a breath mint and comb handy with everyday, and make a clean and well-organized work station. Business elites always be gentle and lady, keep enjoying a delicate life, even a shoe cabine.

07

PRODUCT MESH

Most of time, I am a hopeless perfectionist, that's why I choosed a much much much harder way to make my cube looks more REAL. I started to learn 3Ds MAX by myself from around one month ago, with humility, it is really difficult work to fumble a professional 3D softwere plus numerous assist tools. I bog down in unwarp UVW for three days, and got mad with seaming, wrong in mapping outcomes, no ideas with DDS... I also want to put my cube into The Sims 4 in order to give an “actual view, but challenge with how to translate between mesh and game mod... After all things over, I lost my inspiration again. It is a desperate circle, and I'm still rolling around. Luckily I solved another problem last night, keep working and hopefully can give a perfect views.

STORE INTERIOR

.plus packaging & web

It's weird that I already finished store decorating but still bog down in mesh of product right? I always be strict to myself in some unnecessary aspects, know it though, can hardly change. This store modified from a coffee shop, I think if a store only sell shoebox can hardly make living, and I prefer serve my customers with personal customized, that's why I hope to build a place that can give them some space to look around all my design works and previous cube creations. Customers can receive a "number" from counter, then will be able to read ideas stimulated magazines or use computer to look up my blog. Newest design works exchange twice a month, which will be placed in different store area. They can also order a cup of coffee or piece of cake, and leave some evaluation or suggesstion even design ideas on provided sticky notes. There has show stands in the middle of store and next to stairs, new cube and packaging bags on showing.
