I am very excited that RAB has teamed up with some local area high schools and started a mentorship program. We are looking for at least 40 mentors to represent has many RAB trades and professions as we can to mentor a student. This is great way to expose local area teens to opportunities that are waiting for them right here in Rochester and the surrounding communities. If you would like to mentor a student please sign up! The new CTECH program started this fall at the RCTC Heintz Center. They are expecting to serve over 400 students each year with some of the programs focusing on engineering, agriculture and construction. These programs will allow high school students to get hands on experience and exposure to these areas and hopefully help fill the gap for employers who are in need of qualified employees within the trades. Don’t forget you still have time to sign up for the 2016 Home Show. There are a limited number of booths available. This is a fantastic way to get exposure to thousands of potential customers.
