Eating Disorders and Autism Collaborative (EDAC)
20-35% of people with eating disorders have traits of autism.
EDAC is the beginning of a UK-wide collaborative network of autism and eating disorder researchers dedicated to improving understanding and treatments. We were thrilled to be referred by FREED to develop the brand identity and digital platform for this groundbreaking project.
EDAC is a world-first – enabling Autistic people to lead and conduct eating disorder research. So, we took an Autistic-led approach to break out of neurotypical design habits and put Autistic people’s needs at the heart of our design process.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the region’s biggest employers; but, when they came to us, they had a vision to take their reach even further. They wanted to encourage more and more medical professionals (at all levels) to join the Trust, including those from further afield. We brought this to life with a holistic campaign that spanned website, social media, print and advertising, showcasing the multicultural, purpose driven nature of the Trust as an employer.

Attracting like-minded employees to an organisation built on support, opportunities and care. Producing a multi-platform marketing campaign to support Southern Health’s valuebased recruitment strategy.
We knew that facts and stats alone weren’t going to magnetise the right kind of employees to Southern Health. That’s why we worked closely with them to research, plan, design and deliver a recruitment campaign that would capture everything Southern Health stood for as an organisation and the many benefits of working within the trust community. This all came together to form the #caretojoinus campaign –a multi-platform marketing campaign which highlighted the excellent worklife balance and progressive career opportunities Southern Health offers.

Finding the very best and brightest mental health professionals for a brand new care facility. Designing a high impact and emotion-led recruitment campaign with an authentic narrative.

We joined the Southern Health CAMHS team at their high and medium secure units to experience their everyday life, understand their motivations and develop an authentic narrative for the campaign. We saw the uniquely challenging environment up close, but also an amazing culture of unity, support and – ultimately – a strong sense of belonging and purpose. This became our storyline – enabling potential employees to see and feel the impact they would have.

Online Community For Autistic Adults
Reaching a broader online audience with a new digital identity. Researching, designing and developing a brand, website and social media strategy for a new online community.
Click is an online community providing interactive activities via Zoom for learning disabled and autistic adults. As their service is entirely online, we used lookalike audiences to achieve success with our Facebook adverts. Spending only a few pence per link click, we were able to reach thousands of new people who might benefit from Click’s services. Retargeting adverts achieved a click through rate of almost 10% (9.64%) resulting in their services reaching 350 miles away on the Isle of Man… This was inconceivable prior to the pandemic.

Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance
Rebranding and re-establishing a much-loved, well known charity; shifting the focus back to the people out there saving lives.
HIOWAA are well known for their yellow and green helicopter – it’s always been a staple of their charity image. However, when they came to us it was with a desire to increase brand awareness and fundraising to help keep their vital service in the air.
We collaborated with the HIOWAA team on a complete rebrand and strategic marketing launch; The Small Change Big Difference campaign. Our concept behind the campaign was to focus on the humans behind the helicopter and connect with their audience on a more emotional level.
The popular campaign ran across social, local out-of-home, digital and print; since the campaign launch, we’re proud to say that by the end of the financial year 2022-2023 HIOWAA forecast that the campaign will be delivering a massive £3,381,866 per annum.

We worked with HIN South London and SLaM to deliver a knowledge-sharing project online, funded by NHS England, as part of the FREED website (another project of ours that we branded and build a website for).
We added to the professional section 5 learning modules, each of which contained specific content pages with interactive content:

Developing a ‘home first’ approach through community response digital toolkits.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and South Central Ambulance Service have set out a goal to reduce the number of ambulance conveyances relating to falls in older people living with frailty. They do this by providing comprehensive clinical assessments conducted in a patient’s own environment. This ‘home first’ approach reduces risk of conveyance to hospital and further deconditioning.
We worked with Wessex AHSN to produce an offline toolkit which enables commissioners to deliver an urgent community frailty response service appropriate for their system and population. The toolkit also provides links to a resources to support and inform local conversations to deliver urgent community frailty response models.

Woodley provide a unique range of technology, products and services which are crucial for clinical trials all over the world. From protecting children from Malaria in Gabon, to assisting with providing trials for Covid vaccination, to solutions for identifying blood cancer.
With rapid advances in medical tech and the increase of decentralized clinical trials they needed a new website to enable their customers and product & logistics management teams to stay ahead.
We designed and built a bespoke e-commerce system enabling agile stock database control and optimisation in the content management system and intuitive product browsing, ordering and support.

Creating an entire brand identity for a life-changing medical program.
BEATdiabetes® is a weight management and personalised lifestyle coaching app designed to help prevent or even reverse the effects of type 2 diabetes. The app is exceptional with the potential to genuinely change the user’s life; and so it needed an exceptional brand identity to launch it into the public domain.
We worked with Nemaura Medical to create a slick brand identity, eye-catching packaging solution and engaging launch campaign collateral for this incredible program.

Type 2 Diabetes Health & Well-being Campaign
Raising awareness and influencing behaviour with a video marketing campaign.
Following our brand development work with BEATdiabetes®, they commissioned us to create an impactful well-being and lifestyle campaign. This campaign would highlight the impact that diet and activity adjustments can have on type 2 diabetes –with the potential to reverse it entirely.
This provided the key message for the #yesyoucan campaign, which takes inspiration from A Tribe Called Quest’s hip hop classic ‘Can I Kick It?’ As part of the launch campaign deliverables we produced a video commercial as well as motion graphics for social media marketing. This included working with Sony Music Publishing who were able to grant us usage rights to the Can I Kick It? master audio track.

Launching an exciting startup journey from the ground up.
YouSeq were a brand new provider of next gen sequencing solutions when they came to us at the very beginning of their startup journey. Their aim was to minimise the complexities found in competitor kits so that they could make life easier for NGS users across the globe.
As well as creating the brand identity and asset generation for both on and offline applications, we were asked to build a fully integrated e-commerce and learning website. A totally unique and tailored project, the website allows their customers to both discover the latest developments and advancements in NGS sequencing, and allow them to purchase bespoke NGS and qPCR kits and tools.

Positioning a small but world-leading specialist in a global marketplace.
We met ATDbio 2019 when they decided to rebrand as part of their business development strategy. At the time, they were a small but influential organisation who wanted to propel themselves onto a global stage. Our role – as creative partner –was to find the digital solutions that would make this possible.
It wasn’t simple – understanding the complexities of their science and its impact coincided with the start of the pandemic. Our work moved online and COVID was their sole focus as they became a vital part of the global PCR testing supply chain. But, in the end, this unprecedented challenge only made it clearer to us why they exist; to make scientific progress possible.
This extraordinary journey ultimately led to ATDbio’s acquisition by Biotage in 2022.
