Color brings vibrancy to the world and adds depth to our day-to-day lives. From vivid reds to rich purples, there is nothing color cannot add dimension to. In collaboration with Rocky Mountain Bride, Milk Glass Productions dreamt up a beautiful six part series featuring monochromatic images spotlighting colors, couples and vendors from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities to represent the diversity that lives and breathes within the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Red ROMANCE BOLD
DARING LOVE
PASSION
Red sets your heart on fire. The natural warmth and vibrancy of the color draws attention and elicits a new sense of confidence to everyone surrounding it. It’s the passion you feel talking about the one you love. Red has the power to command a room, and adds the perfect flair of romance needed for any wedding celebration.
Cloud Camp at The Broadmoor located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is surrounded by spectacular views and charming western flair. This iconic location adds the perfect amount of sophistication to the monochromatic red shoot. Milk Glass Productions styled the dramatic red elements to reflect a wild and daring romance. Adonye Jaja’s light and airy photography style juxtaposed with the fiery pops of red throughout the shoot and stunningly highlighted the romance of the day.
Red shined throughout, from the florals designed by Something Styled to the custom signage crafted by Hand Painted Weddings, no detail of red was left untouched. Each guest was invited to enduldge on a custom mini cake created by The Broadmoor while enjoying an elegantly designed tablescape curated with rentals from Colorado Party Rentals and Eclectic Hive. The bride and groom’s dress and tux, designed by Samatha Sleeper and Sebastian Cruz Couture, with their crisp white on white looks were subtlly highlighted with red floral detailing on the bride’s veil and matching red bow tie and pocket square of the groom. Red, used tastefully and thoughtfully throughout the shoot, elicits a deeper feeling of romance and passion to an already beautiful wedding day.
Orange brings warmth and energy to everything it touches. It’s the warmth of the late autumn sun on your face or a sunset that takes your breath away. Orange invites you in and reminds you of the comfortable familiarity you feel when you’re with the one you truly love. Adding touches of orange throughout your wedding day allows you to bask in the energy and optimism that the color brings.
Orange hues against a backdrop of lush green foliage at Beano’s Cabin at Beaver Creek Resort, located in Beaver Creek, Colorado, set the stage for this styled shoot, designed by Milk Glass Productions and inspired by Vietnamese culture. From the traditional silk lanterns to the bride and groom’s custom attire from AoDaiPhyongie and Áo Dài Chi Dau, the simple elegance of the Vietnamese culture was brought to life.
Beano’s Cabin, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, serves as the perfect moody backdrop for the breathtaking orange color palette of florals designed by Bustle & Bloom. The bride’s bouquet, luxurious with orange foliage and florals, and ceremony arch compliments the energy and adventure brought by the color during a wedding day. Photographer, Autumn Cutaia, captured the natural warmth of the beautifully designed arch and tablescape while also showcasing the eye-catching backdrop of Beaver Creek Mountain.
The tablescape echoes the idea of an intimate wedding day with only six table settings, all featuring an origami napkin fold and stunningly detailed geometric gold chairs from Colorado Party Rentals. House of Wilde, Milk Glass Production’s in-house lighting and custom fabrication company, built the natural wooden structure over the table to hang the silk lanterns and other hanging details. Designed with familiarity in mind, the styled reception tablescape is meant to encourage meaningful interaction and comfortability between the closest family and friends in attendance on the wedding day.

Yellow ENERGY JOY HAPPINESS POSITIVITY
Yellow is a direct reflection of joy. The color of sunshine, yellow, brings positive feelings. Positivity, happiness and hope are all within yellow’s domain. Yellow brings clarity and renewal. It’s the first sunny day after a long, dark winter. Yellow is the sunrise you look forward to after what seems like a never ending night. Energy and joy radiate through every hand-crafted element of a wedding day when yellow is involved.
T Lazy 7, a family-owned and operated ranch in the Maroon Creek Valley, served as the backdrop for this celestial yellow styled shoot. Milk Glass Productions created a dramatic, joy-filled shoot with pops of yellow against a lush backdrop of green in T Lazy 7’s scenic meadow.
The stars of the show are the ethereal dresses sourced from Millia London and Ines Di Santo. The Yolanda by Millia London, a soft, hand-dyed tulle ruffle gown, reflects the joy and positivity created by the color yellow on a wedding day. It’s complemented beautifully by Paris by Ines Di Santo, the sweetheart ball gown with stunning detachable puff sleeves. This look is tied together with the feminine touch of a pearl headband. Both bridal looks bring femininity and exquisite elegance to the natural rustic charm of the venue.
Pale yellows and white hues add allure throughout the ceremony and rehearsal without being overwhelming. The flowers on the reception table, arranged by Statice Floral, add an air of cheer to the luscious greenery overflowing across the table. The modern geometric paper goods, handcrafted by Velvet Raptor, complement the natural elements and color palette. Dining on a bed of greenery amongst towering Aspen trees is pure heaven in the Rocky Mountains. While yellow is not a traditional wedding color, it elegantly embraces the beauty of the wedding day.
“White is too brilliant to be seen, so yellow is its filter, its costume, revealing that pure light has not only brightness but emotional resonance and depth.”

Green HARMONY RENEWAL GROWTH LUCK
Green is the color of serenity and renewal. It brings refreshment to the soul and nourishes the need for harmony in the day-to-day. In the Rocky Mountains, green is a color of abundance and running to nature is a way for us to find harmony amongst the towering emerald trees. Green affects every area of our lives; from relationships to physical health, green not only positively affects thinking, it helps us see things in light of renewal. Incorporating green throughout a wedding day, whether that be in greenery or attire, cultivates an air of luck, harmony and peace for the wedding day.
India is a diverse country with many religions, so the interpretation of color can vary by region. Green typically symbolizes new beginnings and happiness. It is one of the five colors used during Holi, a popular Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, to wish for a happy new year. Milk Glass Productions created the vision for this styled green shoot at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver to represent the vitality, renewal and celebration associated with a wedding day. The bride’s traditional bridal lehenga in rich emerald green with golden accents complements the groom’s white and gold sherwani, both traditional wedding attire in India.
“Depending on the region, an Indian bride would wear either a bridal saree or a lehenga. We chose a bridal lehenga, which is an ankle-length skirt typically ornamented with embroidery and intricate designs and is paired with a coordinating blouse, called a choli, and a dupatta which is draped over the head and shoulders.
Brides are adorned with jewelry from head to toe. Bangles which are often gold, glass or diamond-stuffed symbolize luck, fertility and safety. Henna, which is applied the day before the wedding, at a Mehndi ceremony, symbolizes beauty, joy and spiritual awakening. Maang Tikka, a head piece that is typically coordinated to match the necklaces and earrings work, bestows the wearer with will and wisdom to embrace their marriage journey,”
-Tomi, Milk Glass Productions
The luscious overgrown look of the florals, designed by Inspired Designs, are thoughtfully placed throughout the ceremony arch and dinner tablescape. The ceremony arch is the perfect addition to be reused throughout the wedding day as an Instagram-worthy backdrop for guests to commemorate the wedding day. The greenery used throughout the shoot transports guests to a natural paradise in the Denver cityscape, thanks to the central downtown location of the Four Seasons Hotel Denver.
The tablescape, featuring butterfly china from Casa de Perrin, symbolizes rebirth, growth and new beginnings, which are all the most common themes of the color green. Emerald green glassware and gold candle holders contrast beautifully against the vibrant velvet green tablecloth from BBJ La Tavola. The cake, handcrafted by A Cake Come True, is the true star of the show for the reception scene. Its explosion of greenery with gold accents instantly draws the eye of guests to add to the luxury of the reception. The exquisiteness of the tablescape surrounded with lush greenery only reflects the precious sanctity of the wedding day.

Blue TRANQUILITY SERENITY
DEPTH
TIMELESS
Blue’s versatility as a color knows no bounds. From a brilliant blue sky to the bluest water in the deepest parts of the ocean, blue as a color surrounds us and invites in for a moment of tranquility. The color blue calls to mind feelings of calmness and relaxation. It often is seen as a sign of stability and reliability. Blue is what you surround yourself with as a way to think deeper and connect with your deepest sense of self. Incorporating blue into your wedding day is a way to ground yourself and find peace in the moments of the most important day of your life.
House of Wilde and Colorado Party Rentals offered the perfect timeless and elegant pieces for this shoot. House of Wilde designed the bar, vignettes and the tablescape with simplicity in mind, with clean whites and pops of blue to shine a spotlight on the gorgeous backdrop, effortlessly making you feel immersed in the surrounding.
Milk Glass Productions’ plan for the design of the blue shoot came to life at the whimsical venue of historic Camp Hale. Dazzling hues of blue are set off against a backdrop of brilliant green grass at this blue themed color shoot. From the waterfall of blue flowers featured in the ceremony scene and tablescape to the soft blue features in the sitting area, no detail was left untouched with hints of blue.
The bride and groom, a real life couple, radiated love through every aspect of this shoot and reflected the timeless elegance of the color blue on a wedding day. The bride’s “something blue” came to life in the embroidered flowers of her veil, sparkling blue jewelry and soft blue reception dress from Anthropologie. The groom’s soft blue suit complemented the simple elegance of the bride’s satin wedding dress from a&bé bridal shop.
Ian V Santiago Photography captured the purity of the natural blue details with his classic photography style. Whimsy and timelessness were the two major themes Milk Glass Productions’ incorporated throughout the styled shoot. The cake, created by A Story of Flowers, featured whimsical white flowers set against a custom checkered bar with a classically beautiful bar menu. Every vendor, each included for their individual style, worked together to create a styled wedding day that reflects the depth and tranquility of the color blue.

Violet REGAL CALM LUXURIOUS ROMANTIC
Purple, the known color of royalty. Purple accents on a wedding day are the epitome of luxury and romance. Purple is decadent and makes you feel as though you’re royalty even on the worst of days. Exotic and unique, purple elicits a powerful response as the traditional representation of nobility and royalty. It sparks imagination and enlightens those around it. Purple is a color to invite you in and encourage deeper thinking.
Dunbar Ranch, 160 acres of pristine landscape outside of Aspen, Colorado, with majestic views of the Continental Divide, served as the venue for the violet color shoot. Milk Glass Productions ran with the majesty of the ranch in the design of this styled shoot. Destination wedding photographer, Laura Murray Photography, captured the day in her traditional natural, organic and timeless style.
The florals, designed by Keep Floral, were nature forward and reflected the colors and textures of the venue. Their inclusion only aided in the soothing and calming nature of purple. From the bride’s bouquet of varying purple hued flowers to the overflowing purple ceremony aisle piece, the purple accents of the florals shone in creating a look of calm luxury during a wedding day.
The table settings, modern and clean in style, added a pop of color to the otherwise entirely lush green venue. The gold flatware and candle holders against the white floral tablecloth reflects the idea of quiet luxury brought about by the color purple. Milk Glass Productions turned a blank canvas into a rustic and intimate garden party with hints of purple strewn thoughtfully throughout the styled wedding day.
