It’s time to party! If there is one year to revel in the art of gathering, this is it. And lucky for you, Utah wedding vendors are bursting at the wedding-gown seams to do the same. Whether you’re planning a simple, outdoor elopement or a luxury wedding at a five-star resort, there’s a unique locale and vendor team just for you and your partner. Sure, there’s eye candy in here, but the pages also reveal the painstaking detail in creating a holistic experience. Louise + Hoe / Canyon Point Louise and Hoe met through a mutual friend in New York City, New York. Louise was supposed to have been on a quick trip there for her little sister’s graduation but ended up moving from Thailand, getting an apartment and staying for good. A year later, Hoe planned a secret trip to Utah to propose at Amangiri. Louise remembers, “He said let’s go hiking! I was going to wear a t-shirt and leggings but then he said I can wear a dress and heels as it will be a quick walk and we have a dinner reservation after. I believed him and wore a dress and heels. Turned out I had to hike on the sand dunes to the top carrying my dog, Maddie, in heels! At the top of the hill there was a cute champagne picnic set up with a charcuterie board, snacks and beautiful flowers by Sarah Winward. While walking up the hill, I saw someone run and hide behind the rocks. It was Kate Osborne, our talented photographer, so I kind of knew it was coming. He got down on one knee and popped the question. I wish I had recorded what he said because he was so excited he blacked out.” Photographer: Kate Osborne Photography | kateosbornephotography.com Engagement Ring: POH Jewelry | @pohjewelry Venue: Amangiri | aman.com Florist: Sarah Winward | sarahwinward.com Planner & Stylist: Le Petite Privé | lepetiteprive.com

Annali + Cameron / Utah Valley Annali was on Provo’s Most Eligible, a YouTube dating show, her freshman year of college. Cameron was watching the show with some friends and pointed out that she was cute. Quincy, a mutual friend, mentioned that she knew Annali and decided she would set them up. Annali initally declined as she hated blind dates and recently had her heart broken. A determined Quincy invited Annali to go with a group of friends to Idaho to Cameron’s house for the weekend. Eventually Annali agreed and after four hours of being squished together in the car, the two now have a running joke that it took her four hours to fall in love with him. They spent that weekend snowmobiling, having nerf wars, watching movies and being glued at the hip. They dated for about a year and a half before he proposed to her on August 12th in their new apartment. A RETRO TOAST TO THE FUTURE MRS. If you’re a maid of honor, bridesmaid, close friend or relative to the bride, you might hold the honor of hosting the bridal shower. Traditionally, a bridal shower is a daytime, womens-only event to celebrate the bride (usually two to six months before the wedding) and shower her with gifts. So, how exactly does a shower hostess achieve superstar status? For one, they make it very easy on the bride. Once the guest list is turned into the shower host, the bride’s job is done. She gets to sit back, relax and enjoy the pampering. Lucky for bride Olivia, her bride tribe threw a whimsically-designed soiree to remember. “I knew I wanted my bridal shower to reflect my boho-themed wedding,” she says. “They incorporated the same color palette with all my favorite details, including pampas grass, wicker, and some fun vintage pieces.”

TIPS FOR THE HOSTESS Expert party hosts keep in mind two things: One, personalization is key. Two, never let the guests go home hungry. Name boards and photos honor the bride and her groom. Almost-too-pretty-to-eat cookies match the party theme, meanwhile a charcuterie board offers sweet, salty, crunchy and creamy bites.

paper & petals Ann Elizabeth grew up sweeping the floors of her dad’s printing shop. Naturally, the apprentice grew into the family business and spun-off her namesake invitation and printing company, Ann Elizabeth Print Studio. She is equal-parts graphic designer, stationer, etiquette director, grammar police and local trendsetter. Messaging is more important than you think. This isn’t any ol’ invitation, honey. Not only should it look and feel indulgent, paper goods are logistical blessings answering the who, what, when, where and how. So, what’s hot in paper trends right now? Turn the page.

Curves ahead. Easy, curvilinear shapes and lines reflect a modern mood throughout this paper suite, from save-the-date announcements to thank-you cards. Have fun with vintage stamps, tassels, whimsical fonts and on-trend colors like this funky millennial purple. But don’t stop there. Use voluptuous blooms like these pink Cymbidium orchids and purple Mokara orchids to dress up the tablescape.

Let’s get architectural. Arched door frames and garden entrances lure you in and lead you to the excitement that lies beyond them. Here, arch-framed paper adds a nice surprise to an otherwise formal invitation suite that features script fonts, simple paper, velum wraps and a wax seal. The addition of curvy, steel chairs and blooms, like carnations, mums and roses offer old-school refinement to the design.

SUIT STYLE FOR HIM

We get it, boys. You want to look good and feel good, right? Lucky for you, suit shopping just got a little more interesting. Made with high-tech fabrics, today’s custom suits feel more like athleisure wear than those stiff suits your dad wears. Thanks to inventive clothiers—like Kenneth Boggs, whose grandmother taught him how to sew—these head-to-toe ensembles pair masculine patterns and tight tailoring with stretchy lycra and breathable fabrics.

- INSPIRATION -

I T ’ S A L L I N T H E D E TA I L S Personalization is key when building a custom look. Cuffs embroidered with a name and jacket linings threaded with wedding dates and monograms offer a special touch. For extra wow factor, accessorize with leather driving gloves, sunglasses or lapel pins, which are a Kenneth Boggs staple.

ONE-OF-A-KIND STYLING Comfort isn’t Boggs’ only priority. Every suit—much like the gentleman that dons it—reveals its own narrative. “My goal is to create from their own story,” he says. The tailor asks his clients about their favorite places to eat or favorite sports team to determine who they are outside of wedding day planning.

SUIT MUST-HAVES FOR THE WEDDING DAY: Cufflinks Traditional buttons can loosen or, even worse, pop off at inopportune times. The right hanger A hanger with a wider width protects the shoulders and the entire structure of the suit. A steamer Often venues will have a steamer on hand. However, it’s important there is one for both the bridal suite and groom’s room. If not, bring your own.

SUIT MUST-DOS ON THE WEDDING DAY: Leave your cell phone in the groom’s suite A bulky pocket misshapes the pant leg and is no good for once-in-a-lifetime photo ops. Coordinate tie width to that of the lapel A skinny tie works best with a narrow lapel. Meanwhile, stick with a traditional tie for a standard lapel width. Ditch the boutonnière Piercing the lapel with a pin can damage the fabric. Boggs’ signature is his lapel pin.

42

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah 2021

- INSPIRATION -

FIT FOR A KING Take care to choose an experienced tailor like Boggs. “I aim for the lapel to be in harmony with the bone structure of the man from his shoulders to his toes. Literally, I want them to look like a mannequin, but still be able to move.”

SEASONAL SUIT GUIDE Suit options are plentiful, so enjoy the process. Colors like black, blue, khaki and grey, along with patterns including pinstripe and windowpane, are timeless and can be worn year-round. A sports coat and jeans combo is a versatile option for a rehearsal dinner, engagement party or any function after the big day. Spring and summer hues like this salmon, wool-blend and linen suit add a punch of fun and, according to Boggs, is one of his best sellers. Okay, but how much do I have to spend, you ask? Off-the-rack suits can start at $600, but then be sure to factor in the suit fabric and alterations. Boggs’ suits start at $800. Fabric dictates most of the cost with some custom pieces costing $2,500 to $3,000. If there’s ever a time to splurge and create something unique to you, we think your wedding day is it.

Ready, Set, Action

tips to achieving pinterest-worthy bridals! Chelsey Markarian designed this cute bridal session wanting to portray the ending of a romantic comedy brought to life in photos. The playfulness and love shown throughout was inspired by a confetti-filled photo she saw years ago. When planning your bridals, to truly document your love, Chelsey suggests the following: 1. Work with a photographer you are compatable with and who you can communicate with as if you’re talking to a good friend. 2. Find photos that make you truly happy and excited about how they could translate into your bridal shoot. 3. Incorporate who you are individually and as a couple, even if it’s just in small ways. 4. Let your personality show through with your attire and accessory choices. 5. Don’t hesitate to make a fabulous purchase, such as a new outfit or funky prop, to really make your photos stand out. 6. Don’t be afraid to be cheesy. Let your quirks come out. 7. Don’t follow trends. 8. Be creative.

PRO TIP: Create a playlist for your shoot day and include your wedding song!

Olivia +Josh Z I O N N AT I O N A L P A R K

The duo met during a gathering to watch a UFC fight in high school. Olivia and Josh dated for five years before this sports minded couple was at the NCAA’s Division 1 Wrestling Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, when Josh popped the question! Olivia remembers, “Josh was sitting to my right, he suddenly went to pull the ring box out of his pocket. At this point, I had no suspicion of him proposing but the box had gotten stuck in his pocket and it took him a couple pulls to get it out. As he continued his attempts to get the ring, I started to realize what he was about to pull out of that pocket. My heart started racing and I sort of just watched in anticipation. He got the ring out and opened the box, he looked up at me with tears in his eyes. Our eyes locked and we were both engulfed in the moment. The feeling of love, excitement and nerves filled us both. I remember staring at him and looking at the ring and just feeling so happy. I kept thinking to myself ‘Cry, why am I not crying’ but I was so overcome with joy and excitement that all I could do in that moment was smile. After a few moments had passed, I asked Josh if he had something he wanted to ask me. He then proceeded to ask me to marry him, I said yes, he put the ring on my finger, and we were engaged!”

THEMES “You may notice a little bit of a theme in our story: wrestling. Josh and I both come from wrestling families. When we met, Josh was a wrestler at the time for his school and he wrestled with my cousin Keith. When we first started dating, I would go and watch his matches. We ended up breaking up for a bit. When we started to talk again, we went to go and watch the State Finals for High School Wrestling in Colorado. It was there that we were evaluating our stance and if we were officially exclusive again. He told me, ‘Since you broke up with me you have to ask me out this time,’ and so I asked him to be my boyfriend again. Josh said, because I asked him out at the State Finals, he wanted to propose to me at the National Finals. So while it might seem odd to some that we got engaged at a national wrestling tournament, it was the perfect proposal for us.”

Alisha and Braden met in college but didn’t immediately hit it off. After being just friends for six years and both having failed relationships, they reconnected on social media. Alisha recalls, “It was literally love at first sight, after six years and we’ve been inseparable ever since.” One year later, Braden flew Alisha’s sisters out from California to help arrange everything. She remembers, “On the day of our engagement he was ‘working late’ and my sisters called me to go hiking up Ensign Peak. When we got to the top, he was standing there to greet me and asked me to be his wife. My sisters were in the back being the amazing hype women they are, taking pictures and capturing the entire thing. It was truly one of the best days of my life.”

Emily Makaafi + MOAB

Emily and Makaafi met on a blind date. They were both a little reluctant with the thought of it but as Emily says, “After spending a little time together, we knew exactly where it was going to lead.” A short ten months later, Emily explains, “I grew up in a really small town in Utah called Eden. When Makaafi and I were dating, I loved to take him back to the home I was raised in and show him my roots. Growing up, my friends and I had our own little ‘getaway’ we found on a hike one day that we would go to after school. There was this beautiful gazebo in the middle of a grove of trees, like a giant treehouse, where we all spent our time. The first time I took Makaafi there was the first time we had expressed our feelings about wanting to get married. Little did I know this was the exact place he would get down on one knee to propose. The day of the proposal we went up night skiing with my cousins while our families were getting everything ready at the gazebo for the proposal. They hung up bistro lights, put up photos of us throughout our relationship and threw rose petals all over. When we got back from skiing, Makaafi took us to the spot where the gazebo was hidden. In my mind all I could think about was how cold it was and I didn’t question what he was doing or what was going on. We were trudging through the snow and as we approached the gazebo it all started to hit me. I could see the lights, hear the music in the background and saw both of our families standing out in the cold. They lined the way up towards the bridge of the gazebo and Makaafi and I walked in, he got down on his knee and said everything I’d been dreaming of hearing since the moment I met him. To have it take place in the same location where it at all started just felt like all the pieces had fallen into place and circled back. It was so beautiful.”

DECO-DENT DINNER There’s nothing like a city celebration for your rehearsal dinner. Alive with energy and culture, downtown Salt Lake City has played host to a magnitude of jubilant events—theater, ballet, concerts, Jazz games, business dinners, birthday parties, first dates and anniversaries—since its inception in 1847. Caffé Molise is one such hot spot to raise a glass. And it’s also a one-stop-shop of ambiance and gourmet cuisine.

RELAXED & ROMANTIC

Fuse Weddings & Events whips up a rehearsal dinner scene that oozes the same ArtDeco vibrancy as the historical building. Flaunting Neo-Renaissance architecture, this restaurant is an easy win for any couple seeking curved silhouettes, massive arched windows and a grand staircase. Designer notes include filling up the expansive space with tall tapered candles, mixed seating options and velvety textiles. Add in acrylic menus and black tableware for a pop of modern.

HIGH MEADOW MAJESTY Lodging, lounging and lovin’? Oh, we’re here for it. What this sprawling 3,500-acre ranch does best is provide ample action for a wedding weekend packed with all of the above and a whole lot more. “We combine the raw and beautiful elements of the Blue Sky Ranch terrain with the modern textures and structure of The Lodge,” says Sarah Tucker of Marae Events. To ensure consistency, organic features and architectural elements sync in each locale of the venue. Black-tie formalwear balances the rustic late-summer landscape. Canvas signage hangs from leather straps tied to a lucite rack. Sexy ghost chairs don’t impede the mountain views, while dried blooms reflect the wispy shapes and muted tones of the surrounding meadow.

OPULENT STYLE Go big or go home, some say. There is no shortage of glamour in this fashion scene. Sure, the surroundings are wild and organic, but these head-to-toe looks remain regal, much like The Lodge itself. Sharp tuxedos are a no-brainer, classic choice for the men, while the ladies flaunt silk and chiffon gowns in neutral hues.

Autumn’s First Kiss

As fall begins to unfold in Utah’s Rockies, the earth emits a mystical energy. Shadows grow longer and the air fills with a refreshingly cool haze. What a magical time of year to say, I do, and the team at Michelle Leo Events agrees. With the help of photographer Megan Robinson, they take over Hobble Creek Estate in Utah Country to unleash their own autumnal spell of mountain chic wedding design. Michelle Cousins, owner of Michelle Leo Events says, “We opted for bold colors to compliment the autumnal colors in the environment as it begins to shift from summer to winter. A collision of summer and early fall hues combine to provide a burst of boldness.”

Fall is all about the layers. Coat your man in a custom wool-blend suit. That hunter green is striking, isn’t it? As for you, select a gown made with peek-a-boo tulle, silk and embroidered lace. But don’t stop there. Keep pilling on the layers using textural blooms like hellebores, delphinium, waxflower, cottage yarrow and garden roses.

Peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines are a bountiful harvest this time of year. Serve up sweet and savory pairs, like pork belly with a stone fruit and herb salad, or a local peach soup with cucumber and pepper relish. His and hers cocktails include a barrelaged cherry thyme High West Whiskey Old Fashioned and a Culinary Crafts Pink Blaze Rosé Sangria with elderflower liquor and peaches. And for dessert, swap out the traditional cake for a pie and tart bar, where guests can sample a little bit of everything.

SKIP TRADITIONAL

Skip the traditional fall palette for one that infuses soft yellow, blue, coral and lavender. “Neutral linens and simplistic textiles provide the perfect foundation for bold florals and romantic candlelight,” Cousins explains. “Minimal wood elements such as table numbers, napkin-ring place cards and menus help keep this elegant look grounded and organic for a mountain chic style.”

Courtney +Brad SUNDANCE

Courtney and Brad met at a bar in Chicago, Illinois, called Moe’s Cantina. They were introduced by a mutual friend who was Brad’s roommate and Courtney’s friend from high school but neither were looking for a relationship. Once they started dating they never looked back. Seven years later on a trip to Palm Springs, California, Brad planned to propose in their villa at the Korakia Pensione. Courtney remembers, “Brad had arranged for the hotel staff to set up a trail of rose petals that led to the proposal area where they had set up beautiful vintage rugs, pillows and champagne. Words really can’t do justice to how breathtaking it was. Brad had a photographer hidden to capture the setting and the special moment when he dropped to one knee and proposed. The setting was private and absolutely gorgeous and then we had the whole weekend to celebrate.” They planned a burgundy, forest green and gold-themed winter wedding for January 3rd.

Jessica +Travis DRAPER

Jessica and Travis met as college students at Brigham Young University. She remembers, “Apparently he had a huge crush on me but the timing just wasn’t right. Classic. We didn’t really know each other that well until last summer when we started talking. We totally hit it off and quickly became obsessed with each other as we discovered all of our similarities. From how we both grew up living abroad, to our hobbies/interests, and views on life, we felt like we were literally the same person and long lost best friends.” After a short seven months, Jessica won tickets to the Ellen Show and asked Travis to go with her but he said he had “important work meetings” and couldn’t go. So she invited her mom and best friend to go and had plans after the show to go visit the Huntington Library, a botanical garden and art museum. Jessica recalls, “The Ellen show went longer than expected and the Huntington Library was closing. This meant Travis had to cut down on some of his original plans like his custom map of the gardens that would lead me to him. So instead when we arrived I was met by his mom with the sweetest poem directing me to my now sister in law who had the final clue to his exact location. It was a long walk so after awhile I decided to run because the suspense was killing me! When I finally got past the workers telling me the place was closing, I saw him set up in the most beautiful spot on a bridge in the Japanese gardens. He had my favorite flowers and a ring that was more sparkly and perfect than I could have ever imagined. It was truly one of the happiest moments ever.” They planned an industrial boho wedding for August 20th.

Camille +Blaise FA R M I N G T O N

Camille and Blaise met in high school on a double date, while both were dating someone else. Eventually both ended their initial relationships and graduated. On a chance meeting at a restaurant, Blaise asked Camille to hang out, just the two of them, and they’ve been hanging out ever since. To propose, Blaise arranged a photoshoot for them. Camille recalls, “In the middle of the shoot he said he had to run to his car. He came back with a giant bunch of roses and a note placed in the flowers that said ‘Will you marry me?’ He then got on one knee, with the ring and could barely get the words out. We were both already crying so much. It was super intimate and small because of COVID but it made it special that way. We got takeout after because everything was closed. It was so cute and very private.” They planned a modern, forestthemed wedding for August 21st.

He took me to our favorite restaurant, the one where we went on our first date and for many subsequent anniversaries and special occasions. We were supposed to meet up with friends afterwards so I was in a bit of a hurry at the end of the meal and the restaurant was getting ready to close. I was distracted while putting my coat on and he reached back for his coat and dropped to one knee. Kelsey + Cody PEOA

Sorry Bumble, they’re not giving you credit for this one. Though Kelsey and Cody originally “matched” on Bumble, Kelsey proceeded to block Cody shortly thereafter. She had tried the dating app for a solid week, but had a lot going on and decided she didn’t have time for that nonsense. Cody, forever the optimist, assumed that the app had malfunctioned and reached out via another social media avenue, Instagram. Thinking he was clever, Kelsey decided to put this guy to the test. She unloaded a rant for the ages of everything that was stressing her out. She thought, “If he didn’t run before, this’ll do the trick.” Nope. Cody listened, gave beneficial advice and made her laugh when she wanted to cry. As timing would have it, Kelsey had a previously scheduled solo trip to Europe and left immediatly after their initial DM. The two continued to talk and the day after she got back, they had their first date. Three years later, on a trip to Kelsey’s hometown, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cody planned his proposal. With her family in tow, Cody planned a trip to the beach and even though it was pouring rain, he perservered. On the way, Kelsey’s sister and mom suggested they stop and do a quick hike (at a spot Cody had already scoped out prior). The hike was up in the dunes surrounded by trees with an amazing lake view that ended at a scenic overlook. As Kelsey’s sister was taking their photo, Cody pointed towards the fresh water cove and nervously yelled, “Kelsey look! A ship!” Confused, Kelsey humored him and as she glanced back to explain to Cody how the lake is different from the ocean, realized that Cody was down on one knee. Kelsey recalls, “The rest is a blur of heartfelt words, tears and excited squeaks. We then continued to the beach where my family was waiting with champagne. All the pre-planning and stress paid off and I was over the moon that my family was able to be so involved in this special moment even though they live so far away.” The two planned a minimalist boho wedding for September 19th.

Lauren and Justin met through mutual friends on Twitter when she was a junior in high school and he was a senior. A few messages back and forth on Twitter led to texting which eventually turned to meeting in person. Justin met Lauren outside of her parents house and walked around the neighborhood in the rain, since her mom wouldn’t let strangers in the house which has become a running joke in the family. Two years later, Justin proposed at sunrise on the beach during their vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Lauren recalls, “Waking up at sunrise was our favorite thing to do in the Outer Banks since it is so beautiful to watch down there. Little did I know, Justin began planning the proposal with my sister for the following year soon after that vacation.” They planned a boho elopement for October 24th.

HOW TO

kindly ELOPE IN

MOAB Moab is the gateway to endless Southwest adventures. From checking out the quaint shops and eateries in town to exploring the infamous Arches National Park and Canyonlands, a visit to Moab will be one for the books. The iconic red rock scenery is often why couples choose this destination for their elopement. If you’re considering exchanging your vows in this stunning natural wonder, we encourage you to keep the west wild and support the community by selecting local vendors, lodging, and restaurants when possible.

- INSPIRATION -

Suggestions Choose local vendors - Why? Working with local vendors supports the community you’re visiting! - The local vendors will know how and where to source sustainable materials from your florals to the farm-fresh food for your celebration. - Local vendors are like tour guides. They will be able to suggest everything you and your partner need to bring both your values and vision to life. - Lastly, local vendors will help ensure you and your guests celebrate responsibly without sacrificing the beautiful views. This is vital in public lands that need all of us to protect and preserve its natural beauty. Venue Selection - Permits are required to elope in Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse State Park, and any land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. - A local photographer can be a great resource for what locations are accessible and breathtaking. - Private venues, like The Red Earth Venue, are another option to consider. By opting for a private venue, you will keep your environmental impact to one area. Additionally, most locations in Moab do not allow floral to be brought on-site so if this is important to you, a private venue may be for you. Select your Season - Moab is a popular tourist destination. Avoid busy travel weeks such as spring break and national holidays. - Moab has four distinct seasons meaning the weather differs drastically throughout the year. It is extremely hot in the summer and often cold and snowy in the winter. Spring and fall months offer the most moderate temperatures, however, tend to experience rain more frequently. No matter the season you choose, a backup plan is never a bad idea. Look into Lodging - Moab offers a ton of great unique and boutique options for accommodation. A few of our favorites include Red Cliffs Lodge, Under Canvas Moab, Sorrel River Ranch, Hoodoo Moab, Red Stone Inn, and Wander Camp. Source Local Gifts - Moab is chock full of the cutest shops. If you’re looking for gifts for your wedding party, family or significant other hit the town to find the perfect item for everyone. Be sure to check out Moab Made, everything carried in their store is made locally. Indulge in Local Eats & Drinks - Whether you’re celebrating before your vows or staying in town for a mini-moon, Moab has divine options to satisfy your taste buds. Treat yourself to ice cream at the Moab Garage after a hike, snag fuel for your elopement with a pick-me-up at Snake Oil Coffee, or get a growler of root beer or beer from the Moab Brewery. A few other favorites include the Quesadilla Mobilla, The Spoke on Center and Food Truck Park. Enjoy the Area - Moab has adventures and activities for everyone. Be sure to include a few fun experiences in your weekend itinerary. Go horseback riding at Red Cliff’s Lodge, book a canyoneering tour, or rent mountain bikes to explore a trail. There are also numerous notable hikes to choose from including Double Arch in Arches National Park, Corona Arch, and Grandstaff Canyon. The possibilities are endless! Preserve, Protect & Respect - Moab is a national treasure and those visiting must do their part to keep it the way they found it. Remember no matter how appealing a view may appear, stay on trails at all times, pack out what you pack in and respect the community and visitors around you.

BEHIND THE DESIGNS Inspired by the earth’s landscapes and its elements, Nordeen is a bridal collection that reimagines classic wedding attire for the outdoors. With a commitment to nature and a desire to preserve its beauty - the brand seeks to develop a range of effortlessly luxurious pieces, distinguished by natural materials and subtle yet unexpected details.

“The birth of The Red Earth Venue came about after years of being a wedding and portrait photographer in Moab. I saw first hand how difficult it was for my couples to find a location for their intimate wedding reception. They wanted to dine outdoors and let nature do the decorating. Many of them were excited to share this incredible place with family and friends and the last thing they wanted was to be in a hotel ballroom.” - Angela Hays, Owner of The Red Earth Venue

In a shaker, muddle blackberries with ginger and syrup. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake to chill. Half rim a rocks glass with Tajin spice (or similar spicy lime seasoning) and pour over a big ice cube.
