Inspired by bringing the outdoors in and transforming a warm color palette for any season, Marae Events created this garden farmhouse oasis at 4U Ranch, located just 20 minutes from Park City. With shades of dusty rose, rich marigold and creamy latte, the design seamlessly melds colors across multiple seasons from fall to spring. Stephanie + Tom park city
Stephanie and Tom met through mutual friends in the ski industry, and after four years of friendship, the duo officially started dating. Four more years down the road, the pair took an impromptu road trip to southern Utah to soak up the sun, golf and simply relax. On their way back to Park City, they stopped for a hike among the red rocks with sandy paths leading to a lookout. Despite being sweaty and hot, Tom put his arm around Stephanie, and then dropped to one knee and proposed, in which Stephanie happily said, “Yes! Stephanie and Tom planned a mountainside fall wedding for October 19th.

SNOW FLURRIES An early fall cold front brought light snow flurries to the area causing a last minute ceremony switch up at the St. Regis Deer Valley, but with the help of Michelle Leo Events, it turned out even better than the couple’s initial plan. The intimate space was brought to life with floral arrangements at the start of the aisle leading to a birch arch adorned with sprays of cascading greenery and white hydrangeas.

Valerie + Bijan sundance
While attending the same university, Valerie and Bijan connected through Facebook and became pen pals before finally meeting in person. Ten years later, Bijan planned an elaborate 30th birthday party for himself in Aspen. Little did Valerie know, or any of the guests, that it was all a ploy for a proposal! The morning of the party, the pair went for a stroll on the top of the mountain. In a beautiful meadow, Bijan asked Valerie to be his wife, and she excitedly accepted! They decided to keep it a surprise for the rest of the guests until dinner when Bijan went to make a speech, and Valerie jumped up and exclaimed, “This isn’t a birthday party… it’s an engagement party!” Valerie and Bijan planned a rustic, chic wedding for August 11th.

Camille + Mason m i d way
Camille and Mason met while attending the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The two were just friends at first, but officially started dating a couple years after graduating. The pair have been inseparable ever since their first date at a dog park with Mason’s pup, Noble! A few years later, Mason proposed in Camille’s parent’s backyard in Park City. Mason suddenly got down on one knee, and not understanding what was going on, Camille told him to get up because there were ants on the ground. After figuring out he was popping the question, Camille happily agreed! Camille and Mason planned a modern farmhouse wedding for September 21st.

Jack and Lindsay grew up in the same area and went to elementary and middle school together. After high school Jack moved to Jamaica for two years, and when he returned Lindsay and him suddenly reconnected. It has been history ever since! Wanting to keep the proposal a complete surprise, Jack whipped up a story that they were actually attending a proposal of one of their friends. Madison + Austin u ta h l a k e
While Madison and Austin met in junior high, it wasn’t until their senior year of high school they officially started dating. The two went their separate ways with Austin on his mission in Argentina and Madison off to college; however, once Austin returned it was like no time had passed, and they knew each other was the one! During a brisk January night, Austin planned a romantic sleigh ride through Park City. At the end of the ride, he got down on one knee in the middle of the sleigh and asked Madison to marry him! The surprises continued as the pair’s families greeted them with sparklers and congratulations later that night!

Amanda + Adam moab
After meeting at a Tough Mudder in Seattle and becoming fast friends, Amanda and Adam went their separate ways until Amanda moved to Salt Lake City, and they decided to start dating long distance while Adam lived in Denver. The pair never went more than two weeks without making trips to visit each other or meeting in the middle in Moab. When Adam’s job transferred him to Texas, he asked Amanda to join, and she happily accepted. After moving to Texas, Amanada and Adam planned a return trip to the beautiful deserts of Moab. One night as the sun began to set, Adam asked Amanda to join him on a sunset hike along the cliffs of Dead Horse State Park. Nearing the picturesque overlook of the Colorado River in the canyons below, Adam dropped to one knee and asked, “Amanda, will you marry me?” To which Amanda said, “Of course I’ll marry you!” Amanda and Adam planned an intimate desert wedding for October 19th.

HIGHLIGHT REEL
A highlight from the ceremony was when the couple’s dog, Lulu, curled up on Amanda’s gown leading to a collective “awe” from all the guests. Adam’s favorite part of the day was when Amanda walked down the aisle and seeing her incredible smile, looking absolutely stunning.

Ashley + Christopher m o n u m e n t va l l e y
Before the days of Facebook and online dating apps, there was MySpace, one of the first social networking sites. It was here Ashley and Christopher’s love story began after she boldly sent him a message, and so they say the rest is history! After 10 years of wedded bliss, Ashley and Christopher set off to Monument Valley along the border of Utah and Arizona for a breathtaking anniversary shoot. Standing amongst the iconic red buttes, the couple’s love for each other jumps out of each image. Ashley rocked a boho lace gown under a Westerninspired fringed leather jacket, while Christopher donned a plaid sports coat accessorized with a wolf bolo tie.

Jesi + Samuel
Mutual friends brought Jesi and Samuel together, but it was a deeper connection that drew them to each other. Samuel took Jesi to a stunning mountain spot surrounded by towering pines and a blanket of snow under the guise it was for a photo shoot. As the photographer said, “the lighting is perfect,” Samuel got down on one knee as soft snow flurries started to fall and asked Jesi to spend forever with him, and she happily said, “Yes!” Location: Spanish Fork Photographer: Spencer Ryan Photo

Haylea + Logan
Five years ago on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, Haylea met Logan. Over the years, the timing wasn’t quite right as each were in different serious relationships. When the two were back in Utah and single, they reconnected on Facebook, and just 10 months later they were engaged! During an excursion to Silver Lake, the pair stopped in a quiet meadow, and Logan led Haylea to a tent filled with pictures and flowers. Logan got down on one knee and asked Haylea to be his forever boo, which she said, “Yes!” 20 times over! After meeting their senior year of high school, Alyssa and Colin’s paths kept colliding, and it didn’t take long for the two to realize they made a great pair! On a cloudy, rainy day, Colin convinced Alyssa to go to Beus Park despite the weather. As they walked around the pond and watched the ducks glide through the water, Colin led Alyssa to the bench where they had sat three years prior on their very first date.
