BaiLee + Hunter BaiLee and Hunter met in middle school during art class and have been together ever since! On their four year anniversary, Hunter took BaiLee to Bryce Canyon National Park for a weekend trip. One day, they went on a walk to a viewpoint where Hunter got down on one knee and proposed. Together with their families, they planned an earthy-inspired wedding. Montana Willden captured their bridals surrounded by mountain wildflowers, golden light and endless amounts of love.

Madeleine + Aidan Aidan’s mom was Madeleine’s family doctor growing up. While she knew who Aidan was, the pair never connected in person! They had followed each other on social media since junior high, but never talked. It was love from a distance. When they were both 20, they finally connected on Tinder! His dreamy opening line was, “Yo, you’re from Payson right!?” While Madeleine had been in love with Aidan for years, she kept dodging their dates for three months because she didn’t want her image of him to be ruined. Once they finally went out, it was love at first sight. Aidan proposed to Madeleine in Payson Canyon, one of his favorite childhood spots. She complained the whole time because he was asking her to hike in flip flops! Once they reached the top, Madeleine connected the dots: yellow roses, golden hour, a photographer and the most beautiful diamond ring. Pure happiness!

Shelby + Zach Shelby and Zach first started talking through Tinder. Unfortunately, she bailed on their first two scheduled dates. One day at the gym, Zach saw a friend of his and went to say hi. He realized his friend was working out with a beautiful blonde that he recognized. He said to Shelby, “I know you, you are the girl who bailed on me twice!” After a slight guilt trip, Shelby agreed to go on a date with him the next day. Around six months after their first date, they moved in together. Zach was planning on proposing to Shelby when they found out they were expecting a baby, a little boy who they named Maddox. About eight months later, they went on a family walk to their favorite park. Zach set up flower petals and pictures in some of the trees. It was there, with their son, that he proposed to the love of his life. They planned a bohemian summer wedding with hints of gold and greenery. Some highlights of their day included seeing Maddox walking down the aisle with Zach’s parents, holding each other’s hands during the ceremony and cutting the cake.

Kylee + Nathan Nathan and Kylee met when they were seniors in high school. Nathan lived over the mountain about an hour from Kylee, but they both participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA). Their first meeting happened during an FFA event in Cedar City, Utah when they ended up going to the same food joint for lunch. In April of 2021, Nathan took Kylee to where they had their first date in the mountains of Nephi, Utah. The sun was setting and he asked if Kylee wanted to head back to the truck to watch the sunset. After they climbed into the truck, Nathan said to her, “Hey I think there’s a coyote in the field behind you!” She turned to look and when she turned back to Nathan, he was on one knee. He asked her to be his wife and be with him forever. Of course she said yes! “My overall favorite moment of the wedding day was when I heard my husband Nathan vow to love me for the rest of his life.” Kylee planned a western summer wedding with her mom, grandma and aunt. They took care of everything: from food to decor. Gathering inspiration from a copy of Rocky Mountain Bride, Kylee and Nathan had the summer bohemian wedding of their dreams in Spanish Fork, Utah.

golden glow
Amanda Noel Photos planned a golden hour glowing styled shoot in Tibble Fork Canyon, Utah. Models, Caroline and Brax, stunned in a BHLDN dress and classic navy suit amongst the pine trees and brisk winter day. The simple, natural background elevates the elegant style of this bridal styled shoot. We’re starry eyed over the lush florals from Flora by Megan and dreamy light captured by Amanda Noel Photos. “We were inspired by the winter nature feel of the area and wanted to do a shoot that really elevated that, with the color of the pine trees and the flowers.”

The property, originally known as Vineyard Garden Center, was owned by Grant Holdaway, an amazing contributor to the garden center industry in Utah County. The traditional garden center sat on seven acres on the border of Orem and Vineyard. In 2018 we saw this growth happening and knew we needed to upgrade the grounds to keep up with future demand. We remodeled the 2,500-sq-ft store and turned it into a trendy home decor shop, which functions as our main entrance. We also undertook a major remodel of one of our greenhouses to create what is now Glasshouse Venues. This 4,000-sq-ft urban oasis immediately brings a smile to the face of anyone experiencing it for the first time. The temperature and lighting makes this space a much sought-after venue year-round, the air feels fresh and clean, and you can smell the citrus trees planted indoors along both sides of the venue. utah valley wedding guide 2021 / rockymountainbride.com
