Oh, Wyoming - a lifetime of love letters will never fully justify your endless beauty. Yet, here I am, again, overwhelmed with gratitude for my roots and this very community. From the quiet, country roads of my hometown to shared bourbon with old friends on a summer night below the Snowy’s, I have never felt such a strong sense of belonging. Thank you for supporting and reveling in my vision for this issue which was ultimately sparked through the eyes of my mother who saw beauty in the smallest of places and light in the wildest of characters. To the lovers out there that wish to make Wyoming a part of your forever love story, may the following pages inspire you to embrace your roots while embodying your unique relationship. My heart lies in Wyoming. Childhood memories and happy times with family only add to my love of this beautiful state. With each magazine that goes to print, we reminisce about the shoots attended, amazing people we have met along the way and the silliness of office time while working to put such a beautiful publication together. Wyoming, because it was in the hands of one of my all time favorite folks, has always had wonderful stories. With this being our Wyoming Editor’s last issue, there is a bittersweet feeling that comes over me. I am excited for her and her new adventure, everyone at RMB is, and I am proud that her consistency and character wouldn’t allow her to depart without passing her home state’s publication into amazing hands. I love the bohemian bridal style and wanted to create something that unique brides could look at for inspiration. This shoot in the Tetons was created for a workshop, cohosted by both Quincyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Photos and I. We designed this shoot to be focused on brides who want to elope in the mountains. With a flower crown, a beautiful lace dress and the green landscape, I started to see our vision come together. Courtney + Cody

Courtney and Cody crossed paths in high school... well sort of. You see, Courtney’s cousin went to the same school as Cody, and, naturally, she was always her cousin’s date to prom. Cody caught Courtney’s eye immediately. She had the biggest crush on him for years but could never build up enough courage to approach him. They always knew of each other but never spoke. One summer, while Courtney was home preparing to compete in Miss USA, Cody finally reached out over Facebook and asked her on a first date. A mountain adventure and picnic quickly led to dinner on the town. As much as Courtney tried to not fall in love with Cody due to timing and logistics, she did. She fell hard. The two dated long distance before making things official in 2013. Cody asked Courtney to marry him through a homemade video, which he played and got down on one knee in his family’s living room on vacation in Seattle. They planned a modern bash in her hometown for July 7th.

SIMPLE + THOUGHTFUL Courtney envisioned a modern, Wyoming wedding focused around community and culture. She took inspiration from the clean lines of the Brinton Museum and the colorful, summer season along the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains. Ryan + Shawn Ryan and Shawn went to high school together, yet their adventure began in college. A mutual friend brought them together at an intramural soccer team practice. Shawn easily talked Ryan into a first date to the movies, where they ultimately left early because they simply couldn’t stop talking to one another! The rest was history. Ryan called it love at first sight while Shawn was hooked long before soccer practice! In April of 2017, the couple vacationed to St. Thomas to celebrate their third anniversary together. The day after they flew in, Ryan and Shawn met the sunrise to wander seaside and soak in the low tide. As their toes met the sand, Shawn begged Ryan for a photo. He set up the self timer on his camera just in time to land on one knee, place Ryan’s hand in his and ask her to be his wife. Between happy dances, she said, “Yes!” They planned a bohemian, summer wedding on the lush, Casper Mountain for August 18th.

A D V E N T U R O U S H E A RT S Ryan and Shawn envisioned a non-traditional wedding day to set their adventurous hearts aflutter. They created an elevated, whimsical design while capturing their Western roots in the details. Inspired by summer sunsets, Ryan incorporated a soft color palette rich in gold and shades of pink. COME PICK ME UP â&#x20AC;&#x153;It poured rain immediately after our ceremony. However, in classic Wyoming fashion, the storm passed over the hills just minutes after. Shawn and I snuck away from the party as our friends and family dried off inside. He picked me up and carried me through fields of tall grasses and wildflowers. Tess and Bryce found young love in high school. However, college led them on their own adventures. Bryce headed west to San Diego while Tess moved to Fort Collins for school. Two years later, Tess’s mother crossed paths with Bryce at their hometown grocery store and encouraged him to reach out to her daughter (thanks Mom!). The rest is history! They reconnected only to confirm the undenying chemistry between them. Tess and Bryce fell in love in many places, yet their story eventually brought them back to Casper. In December of 2016, Bryce proposed on the front porch of their first home as snow fell from the night sky. Completely taken back, Tess said, “Yes!” They planned an intimate, heartfelt wedding day in Jackson for May 26th.

HERE’S TO FOREVER The breathtaking Spring Creek Ranch played host to Tess & Bryce’s wedding weekend in the Tetons. As a bride, Tess hoped to incorporate a wedding day design that was true to her and Bryce as a couple while also nodding to their individual passions and aesthetics. Above all, this was THEIR day, and she refused that Bryce ever play the supporting actor. With the help of their local vendor team, they created a classic look with a fun, modern spin. The decor was intentional and minimalistic to not only invite the magic of the outdoors in, but to keep the evening centered around what’s most important - celebrating the beginning of a beautiful marriage.

Betsy and Brady met while attending the University of Wyoming. The two connected as friends but, once Brady found out that Betsy was a rock climber, he knew that he couldn’t let her go! Brady was different than any man Betsy had ever met, and he made it easy to fall in love with him. In December of 2016, the couple road tripped down to Fort Collins to spend the holidays with Betsy’s family. Brady took Betsy on a detour through Laramie to “pick up her Christmas present”. After passing through town he took the Veadawoo exit, their favorite local climbing spot. As they got out of the car to stretch their legs, Brady grabbed Betsy’s hand, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Without hesitation, she said, “Yes!” They planned a naturally sophisticated wedding in downtown Laramie for August 11th.

Our wedding day wasn’t just about promising forever and a party afterwards, it was about the three of us becoming a family.”

After debating on a location, Betsy and Brady ultimately decided to become Mr. and Mrs. in the small town where they fell in love. The Laramie community, and the countless memories made, held such a special place in their hearts that they knew they wanted to share that feeling with their loved ones. Jessi and Craig met outside of Globe Hall, a Denver bar, on the eve of Jessi’s birthday. Just as Jessi was about to catch a ride home, Craig and two friends asked her to come along for a nightcap. A nightcap quickly turned into a follow-up date the next night over jazz and wine. The two connected instantly and fell in love. In 2017, the couple headed North to spend the holidays with Jessi’s family in Jackson. On Christmas morning, they unwrapped presents one by one until just one present was left under the tree for Jessi. Jessi opened the gift to find her and Craig’s favorite stuffed pig, Ernie, with a stunning ring around his neck. Completely surprised, she looked up to find Craig on one knee. He grabbed her hand and said, “Jessi West you have my heart. Will you be my wife?” Through tears, of course, she answered, “Yes!” They planned a colorful and carefree wedding at Jessi’s childhood home below the Tetons for July 21st.
