Vibro is the foundation, civil and geotechnical engineering division of the Hip Hing Construction Group and a member of NWS Holdings Limited. WHAT WE ARE SEEKING Our primary objective is to strengthen the construction team to help cope with the boom in infrastructure and building construction over the next decade. TRAINING Assistant Engineers will receive structured on-the-job training in the skills and techniques required to undertake the variety of work that will be assigned to them. This will include job rotation through various departments in order to gain a good understanding of the nature of our business and operations. Comprehensive career and personal development initiatives are arranged, including: • In-house and external training workshops and courses and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for technical and personal skills • Mentoring by experienced professional staff, who will provide advice and guidance during the training • Opportunities to participate in training and personal
development courses organised by the New World Group • Provision of financial assistance or study leave for postgraduate study or other relevant training courses HKIE-accredited Scheme A training in the Civil Discipline will be provided to Assistant Engineers with recognised university degrees. Eligible Assistant Engineers will receive three years of training and will serve in each of the company’s departments, acquiring the skills and techniques needed to become professional engineers. Experienced engineering supervisors and tutors will closely monitor their progress during the training and continuously review their performance to ensure the Assistant Engineers are on track to fulfil their potential and lay the foundations for a successful career.

TRAINING Assistant Quantity Surveyors will be assigned to work in either the subcontracting or commercial departments. They will rotate through different jobs and receive structured on-the-job training in the technical and commercial skills required by a quantity surveyor, such as: • Measurement, valuation of variations and payment applications • Contract administration and contract law • Preparation of claims for additional time and costs • Writing and presentation skills
Comprehensive career and personal development initiatives are also arranged, including: • In-house and external training workshops and courses for technical and personal skills • Working under the supervision of experienced professional staff, who will provide advice and guidance during the training • Opportunities to participate in training and personal development courses organised by the New World Group • Provision of financial assistance or study leave for postgraduate study or other relevant training courses

YOU ARE ELIGIBLE IF YOU:
