Nothing is more terrifying than having a loved one go missing, especially if you know that the family member or friend suffers from dementia, memory loss, brain injury, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or medical prescriptions that impair clear thinking.
For that reason, the City of Rohnert Park provides our community with the Safe Return registry. This program collects important information that is used immediately during an emergency. The Safe Return registry includes current photos of the person of concern, medication lists, diagnosis, and contact information. This free, voluntary program is HIPPA compliant and is designed to work with households, caregivers, spouses, or parents of those who fall into this vulnerable population. If 911 dispatchers receive a report of the missing person and services are requested, first responder agencies access the information on file
The Safe Return registry program has been proven to increase both the emergency response time and the success rate in locating missing persons
The registry is open to anyone who can benefit from this safety program. There are no age limits or limitations on diagnosis. Safety is the ultimate priority
To boost the effectiveness of our Safe Return registry, Rohnert Park partners with the official Alzheimer’s Association to offer family resources, safety tools, and contact information bracelets. This partnership guarantees that more safety resources and support are available to our community when needed
To receive information and register for the Safe Return program, please make an inperson visit to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (500 City Center Drive, Rohnert Park), or visit our website.
The Community Round Table (CRT) is a bridge between the City of Rohnert Park and our community.

He started by creating a death benefit, a credit union and a cooperative gas station. These early efforts quickly grew, and the National Farm Workers Service Center was introduced in 1966 to build affordable housing for the elderly and displaced FilipinoAmerican farmworkers.
The National Farm Workers Service Center has since become the Cesar Chavez Foundation, which continues to expand on Cesar’s early work and vision to create a movement to improve the quality of life for Latinos and working people. Cesar Chavez’s vision was ambitious, and a half a century later, the lasting and ongoing effects of his work have transcended even his original aim.
