FECIT 2018 ARTISTS (partially pending): CROATIA Hrvoje Marko Peruzović Born in Zagreb, in 1971. He attended the High school of Applied Arts in Split and graduated with a major in graphic design. In 1995 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb under prof. Đuro Seder. In Peruzovic’s work, colors have strong emotional energy, but also their symbolic function. He has exhibited at several solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He lives and works in Bol at the island of Brač. (confirmed) Petra Grozaj She was born in 1974 in Zagreb. She completed the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2002. As she tells herself, her pictures are a reflection of the modern society in which she lives, and they are a medium for reflection of her own introspection, situation and relationship, in a kind of ironic rejection. She has received several awards and has exhibited at several solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. She lives and works in Zagreb. Stipan Tadić Born in 1986, in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2011 in the class of prof. Zlatko Kauzlarić Atac. Tadic is completely diverse in the choice of topics and with his authenticity engages art lovers. He has received several awards and has been exhibiting at several solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He lives and works in Zagreb.

SERBIA Milan Tucović Born in Požega, in 1965. Painter and sculptor Milan Tucović graduated at department for sculpture at the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1991. Tucović creates surreal metaphysical world in which time and movement stopped by using methods of magical realism. Figures look as if they are taken from the past, stopped in their poses as in a photo. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Serbia and abroad. He lives and works in Belgrade. (confirmed) Vladimir Dunjić Born in Čačak, in 1957. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in the class of Professor Mladen Srbinović in 1981. He has been a member of ULUS (The Serbian Association of Fine Arts) since 1982. It is written many words for his work by many famous art critics, and not only them, but one can always found and say something new about his art poetics, philosophical and mystical and metaphysical background of the present, contemporary iconic character. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Serbia and abroad, and he has won several domestic awards. He lives and works in Belgrade. (confirmed) Katarina Zarić Born in Belgrade, in 1966. She finished studies in fine arts (print making department) in the class of Professor Emir Draguli, and in the same year, was admitted to the masters degree program.

In 1993, she finished the masters degree program, and then was admitted as an internship at the Fine Arts Academy. She became an associate professor in 2009 at the Fine Arts Academy. In combination with unusual light of presence, searching the world for reality is one of her most important tasks. Her idea is to make a kind of “trigger”, using techniques and magic of classical painting, printmaking and drawing. She took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Serbia and abroad, and she has won 13 domestic and international awards. She lives and works in Belgrade. (confirmed)

Andrej Brumen Čop Born in 1973 in Murska Sobota. He graduated the Faculty of Fine Arts in Ljubljana 1993 and he finished the masters degree program in 1995 at the same Academy. From 2009 he works as Assistant professor for drawing and painting at the Faculty of Education, Department for Art Pedagogy, at University of Ljubljana. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Slovenia and abroad, and he has won several awards. He lives and works in Ljubljana.

Saša Marjanović Born in Majdanpek, in 1976. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2004, and then he finished the masters degree program in 2009. in the class of Professor Gordan Nikolic. Technically perfected, and the thematically engaged painting of Saša Marjanović with the atmosphere of constant tension and caution towards the dark side of consciousness. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Serbia and abroad, and he has two domestic awards. He lives and works in Belgrade. (confirmed)

Marko Kusmuk Born in 1985 in Sarajevo. He graduated the Faculty of Fine Arts in Sarajevo 2007, department: painting in the class of prof. Nusret Pašić. He finished the masters degree program in 2008 in Italy at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Terni, department: painting in the class of prof. Desiderio Sanzi. He finished Phd studies at the Faculty of Arts and Design, department: painting in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Miloš Šobajić. Marko Kusmuk expresses his art through painting, sculpture and graphic design. He has exhibited at several exhibitions in the country and abroad. He lives and works in Sarajevo and Belgrade.

SLOVENIA Rok Zelenko Born in Ljubljana, in 1951. In 1975 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana as a painter under the mentorship of Professor Janez Bernik.. His professional activities are painting, ceramics and graphic design. In every aspect his works create rich visual sensations, images in which reality and imagination intertwine and where we sometimes feel that reality is only a reflection of imagination in scenes full of emotional charge, disguised erotica, the unspeakable and archetypical. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Slovenia and abroad, and he has won many domestic and international awards. He lives and works in Isola (Slovenia) and Grožnjan (Croatia). (confirmed) Nataša Ribič Štefanec Born in 1963 in Ljubljana. She graduated in 1988 on the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Janez Bernik. In 1991 she completed her postgraduate study of Painting under Prof. Gustav Gnamuš. From 1991-93 she specialised in graphic art under Prof. Branko Suhy. She exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. Her works has been included in several Slovene and foreign art collections, including Albertina in Vienna. She lives and works in Ljubljana. Mitja Ficko Born in 1967 in Maribor. He graduated the Faculty of Fine Arts in Ljubljana 1999 and he finished the masters degree program in 2002 at the same Academy. Ficko express himself in his paintings through authentic landscapes were he shaped his relationship to nature. He took part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Slovenia and abroad, and he has won several awards. He lives and works in Mohorje, Ljubljana and Leipzig.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

MONTENEGRO Jakša Ćalasan He was born in 1979 in Bosanski Novi. He lived in Belgrade, Trebinje and Novi Sad, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Professor Slobodan Knežević Abija, Graphics Department. Since 2007 he has been active in painting. He lives and works in Bar. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Montenegro and abroad, and has won several awards.

REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA OR FYR OF MACEDONIA Atanas Botev Born in Skopje, in 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje, Department of graphic art in 1997. He received MA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in 1999. He is working as custodian on the Open Graphc Art Studio in the Museum of the City of Skopje. The painting of Atanas Boteva deals with current political and cultural conditions. He has exhibited at several solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He lives and works in Skopje. (confirmed) Jana Kunovska She was born in 1969 in Skopje. She graduated School for Applied Arts 1987. She graduated Faculty of Fine Arts “Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje in 1994. She specializes in restoration of icons and frescoes and works on restoration jobs. She was devoted to graphic design, theater, illustration ... In 2009 she finished the masters degree program. She is current at Phd studies in Belgrade (major: Contemporary digital designs in the modern art). She took part in many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, and she has won several awards. She lives and works in Skopje.

FECIT Grožnjan …is a new initiative to bring artist together from all fields of visual Arts. Summit will take place annually in Grožnjan, picturesque medieval city in Istria, Croatia. Grožnjan has not only long history, which goes back to the Venetian Republic, but is for more than five decades THE CITY OF ARTISTS. In former Yugoslavia, all nations contributed talented youth to engage in all sorts of music trainings during the summer months. Since 1965 Grožnjan also hosts various painters, sculpturers and other artist. One would be able to visit more than 30 galleries and exhibition halls. Many openings and ad hoc concerts still happen during each summer, so visitors hear music literary on every step. Since 1999 Groznjan also hosts MUSIC FESTIVAL JAZZ IS BACK, founded by legendary musician Boško Petrović. Concerts which are free for visitors, are held every night at the main gathering place in the middle of the city. Festival kicks off with best concerts in the middle of July and finish first days in August. On the same time, almost neighbouring city launches MOTOVUN FILM FESTIVAL with full week of vintage and newest projections of the best films and documentaries. ISTRIA is the most famous Croatian peninsula, recognised by New York Times as the number one worldwide most hidden treasure not yet found. Not just beaches, legendary monuments, Brioni islands, exquisite wineries and abundance of truffles, but also cultural activities leave the seal to summer visitor of this part of heaven.
