hot kitchen & ready made meals We believe that classic dishes are famous for a reason, so we set out to map the world’s top 100 dishes, and produce a standardised version of them. Although this is the core of our range, we can custom make anything else you want. Available in 1 kg packs blast frozen, including soups. Ready made meals: we have made it our mission to introduce the South Asian market to RMMs. 25 of our world top 100 dishes are available as ready made meals, and the range is continually expanding. The retail packs are used by some hotel customers as their room service menu, which saves the high cost of a night Chef. Soups: comprise a range of classics, both clear and dairy based soups, with many best selling products. Mediterranean food: our newest range comprises mediterranean dips, classic sauces and healthy starters. We make the best hummus in Asia and our fresh basil pesto is also a top seller.

sausages & cold cuts Sausages: our range of premium processed meat products start with real German standard sausages 100% meat with no fillers, binders, soy or wheat, and gluten free. Quite simply no one else makes real sausages in South Asia. Cold Cuts: our range of Italian mortadellas is designed to match European quality at a better price and are perfect for buffet starter boards and sandwich fillers. Smoked Products: our House speciality is our smoking capabilities, using a proper smoke house using real German beechwood. Most so-called smoked products are artificial & chemically treated to give a “smoked flavour”. Here you will find our smoked chicken, turkey and duck products, and smoked chicken ham and bacon. Meat on Sticks: we also specialise in real satays, and produce Yakitoris and Kebabs. Available in HORECA 1kg packs and retail. Premium Burgers: complete the meat products section. We use the best grade chicken that meets US FDA standard. All our beef and lamb is imported from Australia

FISH RAW & SMOKED We have our own fish sourcing and processing facility that provides fish for our finished Hot Kitchen products. We therefore can provide sashimi grade fillet blocks of Yellowfin Tuna for select customers blast frozen to -40 degrees C. We specialise in South Asia’s first genuine real wood smoked fish products which are exceedingly healthy & tasty, and a better Indian Ocean sourced alternative to expensive Norwegian smoked salmon. The world has changed for hoteliers in 2019 in Sri Lanka. It is now imperative to turn fixed costs into variable costs to survive. Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free. It looks like the growing trend of reducing or avoiding animal proteins is here to stay, especially with Millenials. So we have finally produced a proper German Rye bread made with imported German Rye (very low GI) and a Multigrain bread (low GI) to complement our standard issue Ciabattas and Foccacias and Paninis that we have made for a decade. Our Mediterranean dip range is all Vegetarian or Vegan, and we have many more vegetarian hot dishes in the works. All our Sausage range is Gluten Free. Smoked Omega Oil Rich Fish Given the popularity of our real smoked meat products using German Beechwood (see our Meat section - Smoked Products), we thought we should turn our attention to fish. We think that the quality of Sri Lankan oily fish is second to none, but no one has turned it into the tastiest format smoked. Our company links to Scotland help with the expertise required, and the resulting product is exceedingly good and very healthy. Check out the Smoked Mahi Mahi (available both Cold Smoked & Hot Smoked), Smoked Spanish Mackeral and Smoked Yellowfin Tuna in the Fish Section at the end of the catalogue. Sri Lankan offshore waters have the lowest sea pollutant level in the World, and they produce the best tropical commercial fish. These products are exceptional.

Everyone Loves Sausages. And Everyone Loves Cheese. B u t c h e e s e i n a s a u s a g e ? W h at w o u l d t h e G e r m a n s t h i n k ? And yes, the Americans are right. Despite being German Sausage purists at Gourmet Lanka, we decided to make a proper cheese sausage where the filling is real cheese and it drips out nicely. We made it Cheese & Onion, inspired by the famous British potato Crisps flavour, and it has already become one of our bestsellers, second only to the spicy Chorizo and ahead of our Thuringer and Frankfurter.
