Association of Business Communicators of India Presents
ComFest -10 10th & 11th NOVEMBER, 2010
The Communicator as Change Leader
T
he Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI) was formed in 1956 with an aim to promote excellence in Business Communications. ABCI, as it is famously known, has since then organized various workshops pertaining to Print & Electronic Media, its usage and its utility value. ComFest10 is a festival of ideas. In the true spirit of a festival, it is going to be a departure from the everyday. So ComFest10 will not affirm conventional wisdom. Rather, it will question the given. It is about undermining the status quo, turning ideas on their heads, reexamining certainties, and navigating the way forward in a world where conventional maps are rapidly losing relevance. For professional communicators, this is a platform that will compel us to look ahead, look around and, most importantly, look within. We cannot claim that after attending ComFest10, you will be able to pin down that flitting, fluttering butterfly we call change. We promise you, however, that you will step out of a cocoon of untested certainties – and emerge with flying colours. `Discount the obvious, bet on the unexpected`.
