Rosie Cockcroft

Currently seeking employment in an exciting Landscape Architecture practice or multidisciplinary team for a chance to develop my skills within the industry on completion of my MA at Leeds Metropolitan University. An enthusiastic and passionate designer with a wide range of subject interests from health and wellbeing, play provision for a range of ages and providing multifunctional landscapes to address and enhance both social and ecological issues. I spent the previous year in industry working for Timberplay Ltd on a range of play space designs working as part of a multidisciplinary design and build team that has a renowned knowledge of play and child development. I also used this time to work on a number of small projects independently, one of which was a design for a rehabilitation garden for a local hospital in West Cumbria, utilising the knowledge I gained writing my dissertation on The Role of Landscape Architecture in Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing.
