Ross School is ideally situated in East Hampton, New York, close to some of the top-rated beaches in the country and set in a safe, pastoral village, which is nevertheless within two hours of New York City, shopping, and cultural events.
Electives Summer Term programs feature an array of weeklong afternoon elective classes in a variety of areas. These classes complement the program’s academic studies, pursued in the mornings and early afternoons, and give students the chance to develop talents and skills in other fields according to their interests. This year’s electives include media, film, music, visual and culinary arts, and environmental science. Students also have the choice of participating in Easternbased wellness practices, such as yoga and tai chi, or in Western activities, such as soccer, weight training, and fitness.
Weekends Weekends feature a variety of cultural and entertainment opportunities, including trips to the movies; visits to the popular local beaches; excursions to New York City for Broadway shows, museums, and shopping; and cookouts and pool parties. Summer Term students have plenty of time to take advantage of these activities, and each adventure offers new venues for ESOL students to practice their English language skills and vocabulary.
Small class sizes and targeted test practice have helped increase test scores for our students time and time again. Improve your TOEFL, SAT, ACT, or TOEFL Junior scores with expert assistance from experienced test prep instructors.

Ross School is a co-educational institution serving more than 550 students from grades pre-nursery to 12 and postgraduates, including boarders in grades 7–12. It is located on two beautiful campuses in East Hampton and Bridgehampton, about two hours east of New York City. Founded in 1991 by Courtney and Steven J. Ross, the School features a proprietary, globally conscious curriculum based on cultural history and integrating courses in science, arts, humanities, mathematics, and wellness taught by world-class faculty. Ross School offers opportunities for independent study, competitive athletics, extracurricular activities, and travel. Students and faculty come from more than 25 countries.
