THE MEETING PLACE We are very pleased to be able to offer a new service through The Meeting Place - our Telephone Befriending Scheme. We are offering this to people over 65 in Bookham and the surrounding area who feel lonely and would like to receive regular telephone calls. This is a one to one service with trained volunteers for those who are isolated or lonely. This could be you or there may be someone you think would like this help. Do contact us on 07596 837063 or email jane.bellingham@eastwickroadchurch.co.uk Lockdown has been a very difficult time for so many of us and also for the services we provide. It has been so good though that our Community Fridge has been working hard to deliver bags of food each week. Up to 180 bags a week have been distributed by our volunteers who pack and deliver these.
