I hope you enjoyed a great break over the festive period and that your new year has started well. For me, it’s not been so great! I’ve had a nasty spell of flu which knocked me for six and I’m only now, starting to get back on my feet. I hope you have managed to avoid the inevitable New Year germs! On a positive note, isn’t is great to gradually see the lighter evenings returning? Our days will soon feel so much longer with Spring just around the corner. Our February magazine brings a selection of interesting information for you; we hear from Bookham Wine Club who are looking forward to welcoming Rebecca Leumann this month from Gourvid, the specialist importer of South American wines. This sounds like an interesting evening so if you’re interested in learning more about wine, why not join them, details on page 16. The need for extra space at SPACE(!) will be doubly important as the ‘other’ centre on Lower Road will close later in 2019, so no apology is made for asking you to do your best to help with their fundraising efforts. Details of up and coming events can be seen on page 20. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Bookham is full of amazing people, doing amazing things; Phil Hawkins and Rachael Underwood from Bookham’s international education development charity Aprender are no exception to this rule; we are delighted to share an inspirational article about a recent trip they took to Brazil! That’s about all we have space for here but there is certainly more for your to discover within; oh yes don’t miss our little competition this month! The wonderful young artist Alice Merton’s debut album on CD is up for grabs; a really great sound! Wishing you all a great month and maybe even a little romance around the 14th ! Until next time…. Adios Amigos!

Here are 3 things we do & it’s the place to start if you want to lose weight for good…
1. Get hormones on side.
- Ditch processed & sugary food to keep insulin low and blood sugar stable. High insulin = fat storage! - Avoid cravings and fat storage by managing stress – why not try some mindfulness?
2. Optimise liver function.

This busy organ processes nutrients from food and removes toxins, if it’s overworked or stressed it can’t rid the body of toxins, meaning extra fat storage. Eliminating sugar, wheat, dairy, alcohol and caffeine gives your liver a break so it can remove the toxins stored in fat cells.

Bookham Wine Club to showcase Fine Wines from Chile
Bookham Wine Club to Showcase Fine Wines from Chile at their February Meeting... On Monday February 11, Bookham Wine Club welcomes back Rebecca Leumann from Gourvid, the specialist importer of South American wines. This will be Rebecca’s second visit to the Club and follows her excellent presentation on Argentina last year when she impressed everyone with her choice of wines, and her relaxed, yet informative and engaging approach. During the evening, members will taste six carefully chosen wines from small family owned wine makers from different growing areas of Chile. Each wine will have its own story to tell, and Rebecca will share

them in her own compelling style. Wine Club meetings are held in the Harrison Room at The Old Barn Hall on the second Monday evening of the month. If you would like to join us for our Chilean evening, or indeed any of our monthly wine tastings, please get in touch. Our meetings are relaxed and friendly, and you don’t need to be an expert in wine, you just need to enjoy drinking it, and have a thirst for knowledge! Gardening Matters Choosing Containers
Everyone should learn how to plant up containers, since it means that you can have beautiful displays of colour and varied plants for seasonal interest even if you don’t have a garden. Plus, plants in containers are much easier to move around and arrange than those in the ground. But there are various types, so which container to choose, now that you have time to think about that a bit? Clay/terracotta - the advantage of these is that they’re very attractive, but they dry out more quickly than plastic and are prone to cracking and damage caused by the frost. Look for frost-proof pots – although even these are not guaranteed to withstand frost damage – or stand the pots on feet over winter to prevent them becoming waterlogged, as it’s the expanding and contracting of the water in the compost that causes them to crack. Plastic - these are lighter than clay/terracotta pots and don’t dry out as much. There’s a wide range of sizes and colours, and they may be cheaper. Some may even look a bit terracotta-ish, but they’re not as authentic. Metal - this is a very popular material for containers and looks very modern. Metal containers are frost-proof and don’t dry out like clay/terracotta. However, they heat up very quickly in the summer, and equally, they become very cold in the winter. Plus, they are liable to corrosion and rusting.

24 Looklocal Magazine - February 2019
Wood - wooden barrels are a very popular choice for growing fruit trees or trees such as Salix integra ‘Hakuronishiki’, the flamingo willow, with its beautiful shades of pink, creamy-white and green. And wooden fruit boxes, for example, are a quirky but attractive alternative to plastic troughs. The problem with wood is that it rots and you’re left with a mushy bottom (so many possible responses to that, but this is a family magazine). You can extend the life of a wooden container by lining it with plastic sheeting with holes in the bottom. This is very good use of this type of plastic which would otherwise be clogging up landfill sites. In addition, you can paint the wood with a preserver, but this all makes it a bit on the high maintenance side. Other materials - this is where you imaginative types come into your own. I can think of a few alternatives: for example, empty compost bags are ideal for growing potatoes, and household items, such as jam jars, tins and old baths make interesting containers and provide a talking point. I’ve always yearned for an old chimney pot to plant up with pansies and trailing plants, although you’d probably have to put something in the bottom to make it less deep, otherwise you’ll use all your compost up in one container. Also, I’ve seen some really lovely little herb gardens planted up in old sinks. Over to you, the choice is yours, have fun experimenting. |

Annual Art Competition at Denbies Wine Estate
Winner Jilly Butcher with Bridging the Gap Over the flowery dell by Janet Bryan
Memories of Grandma by Imogen Hartridge
Well, in our time we have been asked to judge vegetables, plants, dogs, hanging baskets, stalls at various village events, groups dressing to a theme, window displays etc! (thankfully never babies, way too much pressure!) So when we were asked to help judge the Denbies Annual Bacchus Art Competition-piece of cake! Not!! Such a high standard of entries and talent left me with the difficult task of deciding the winners. Thankfully I was not alone!! Upon arrival I was shown up to the gallery where I met our fellow judges (pictured), two of whom were last years winners. Debbie Green from Bookham who won the 2018 judges vote with her beautiful painting of the Northern Lights and Grace Ellen a Surrey based artist who won the 2018 People’s Choice with her inspiring landscape painting. After introductions and a cup of coffee it was down to business. So what do I know about art? Not a lot, but I know
32 Looklocal Magazine - February 2019
what I like!! It was not without a little apprehension that I went along to Denbies last month. The theme this year was “Bridging the Gap”, which could be interpreted in anyway the entrants chose. The judges spent time, separately (no collusion!!), studying the exhibits, choosing their favourites and scoring them accordingly. All the works were of an extremely high standard and with so many different styles, techniques and interpretations of the theme, this was no easy task. After a morning of deliberation we were invited to join Gill White of Denbies (and fellow judge) for lunch in the Gallery restaurant while our scoring was collated and the winners announced. It was particularly lovely to talk to our group over lunch, three of whom are regular judges for this event (Gill White, Graham Muncy & John Cawdell) and could relate their past experiences. Also, to sit with the two winners from last year and discuss the different
Denbies Wine Estate London Rd, Dorking RH5 6AA www,denbies.co.uk
techniques we had seen and the pros and cons of the different mediums used. It has certainly given me a much greater appreciation of art than I had before. I love art, but as I said, I don’t know much about it, but I know what I like. Now I am even more in awe of people who produce these amazing works of art than I was before. Debbie and Grace said they had found it very interesting being the judges for a change and that it has given them a better insight into how art is viewed. It was interesting when we collated our marks with the lovely Tiana from the events team, to discover that we had mostly all selected the same pieces in our top ten. No dissent amongst the judges then!! So whatever our individual thoughts and reasons for choosing particular pieces it was a very fair result across the board. The overall winner of 2019 Bacchus Art Competition was Bookham based Jilly Butcher (pictured) with her amazing photograph of a spider and it’s web - “Bridging
the Gap”! Runners up: in second place was “Over the flowery dell” by Janet Bryan, an intricate piece in applied fabric, painted and stitched, and third place went to Imogen Hartridge “Memories of Grandma” an emotive oil painting. Well done to all the entrants. From someone who struggles to draw a stick man, your abilities will forever remain a mystery to me!! My thanks go to you, my fellow judges and Denbies for your invitation and hospitality. It was an immensely enjoyable and memorable day. If you would like to enter the Denbies Bacchus Art Competition 2020, the Theme is “On The Edge” and details of how to enter can be found on the Denbies website: www.denbies.co.uk Denbies Art Gallery is always open and worth a visit. There are art displays and exhibitions throughout the year.

CANNELLINI BEAN SOUP with CAVOLO NERO & VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Detox – now is the time to think of this, January is just too hard! Be aware of the ‘juicing detox’s’ - the liver needs cleansing and it must have a full spectrum of nutrition in order to do so…. hit the veg and fruit in a multicoloured way and all will be good! I doubt I need to comment on refined sugar, dairy, caffeine, gluten and alcohol intake to give your systems a rest! This recipe is adapted from Rose Gray of the iconic River Café in London, it ticks all my boxes for February. I often add some chorizo and/or smokey bacon bits to keep the boys happy!
COOKING METHOD
INGREDIENTS 225g/8oz cannellini beans, soaked overnight in cold water 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped 3 tablespoons olive oil 6 tablespoons chopped fresh flat leaf parsley sea salt & freshly ground black pepper 20g/ ¾ oz butter 150ml/ ¼ pint chicken stock (ideally brown - made with roasted bones) 200g/7oz kale or cavolo nero, washed and finely shredded For the dressing: Extra virgin olive oil
1. Drain the soaked beans & transfer to a large saucepan. Cover with cold water, bring to the boil & simmer until tender. Drain & reserve the liquid. 2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan & cook the garlic until softened but not coloured (20mins). Add the parsley & beans & cook, stirring until the beans are well coated with the mixture. 3. Heat the butter & stock in a large pan, add the cavolo nero, cover with a lid & braise for about 8 mins. 4. Meanwhile, put three-quarters of the beans in a food processor with 250ml/8 fl oz of their liquid, & briefly pulse (you do not want a puree). Add more liquid if necessary, but it should be thick. Return to the whole beans with the cavolo nero & stock & season with salt & pepper. 5. Serve in large soup bowls, drizzled with a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil.

Computers and Bathtubs Not the most logical connection, so stick with us…. Frequently we are asked how long does a PC, Mac or tablet last for? Their reliability is very good as you will see…but what affects the devices performance is the complexities of the current software and security systems that are an integral part of the operating system on the device, also the mixture of different applications and programs a machine can accrue during its life. Additionally, a machine that was designed for the market 8 years ago would be a very different technicality and specification to a modern-day machine. Yes, the machine can be upgraded to squeeze some more life from it, but it is often a compromise, and the cost of upgrading the machine can be half the cost of a replacement device, also, you get the prospect of greater reliability, newer technology, and much improved performance with a new machine. Looking at the reliability, there is a graph called a “bathtub” graph (see below), which plots the average reliability of a computer (and most electrical items) against time. This indicates the device may have some reliability issues when it is first supplied- this is typical as the electronics may have a manufacturing issue which wasn’t detected during post manufacture testing, once this has been overcome there is a long period of uninterrupted reliability, then as the device starts to age, typically this is around 7-9 years of age, when it starts to become less reliable, where eventually this becomes a terminal issue
Reliability

Older
Considering this, if you want a really cost-effective solution, then buying a refurbished high spec machine could end up being a worthwhile exercise as they still have a lot of reliability ahead of them, and they also will be significantly cheaper. We do have used PC’s, Apple iMac’s, Macbook’s and iPads from stock- they have all been fully refurbished and upgraded where necessary, with prices starting as low as £50.00 it could be worth considering? This guide was written by Les Beer, from Tecres in Leatherhead, who have been providing computer solutions since 1989.

Alice Merton Releases Anticipated Debut Album
‘MINT’ Out 18th Jan 2019
The Berlin-based, British singer songwriter Alice Merton gets ready to release her much anticipated debut album MINT, which includes the singles ’Lash Out’, ’Why So Serious’, ’Funny Business’ and the platinum selling ‘No Roots’, on 18th January 2019. After garnering much attention with the explosive self-release of her debut single 'No Roots', Alice Merton has gone on to build a strong international fanbase, reaching 250M streams and 150M YouTube views so far, with ‘No Roots’ certified Platinum in 7 countries, reaching the Top 10 single charts in 10 countries and recently going GOLD in the US. MINT stands as a testament to Alice’s autobiographical and heartfelt writing, with driving rhythms underpinning catchy choruses and themes of female empowerment and unavoidable insecurities of youth, and her sense of independence; illustrated by the fact that, as well writing and recording the album herself, Alice set up her own label with her manager to release the record, and has produced a series selfdirected music videos as part of the campaign. In the US, partnering with label Mom + Pop Records, Alice has continued to build on the success of ‘No Roots’, touring with the likes of Vance Joy and The Killers, featuring in Billboard Magazine and

performing on both Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight’s Show and James Corden's The Late Late Show, as well as receiving a nomination in the 'Best Rock' category at the Teens Choice Awards. THE LEATHERHEAD & DISTRICT LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY
Four New History Society books on sale for 2019 Local history buffs have four new book titles to choose from, thanks to the Leatherhead & District Local History Society. Three of them commemorate the dramatic events of a century ago - the end of World War One and the first votes for women - and the fourth contains a wealth of personal reminiscences from World War Two. Little Bookham in World War 1, by Vivien White, is based on research for the 2014 Heritage Weekend exhibition marking 100 years since the start of the Great War. The exhibition was restaged last September at the Tithe Barn, Little Bookham, to cover the war’s end. It tells the story of this tiny community, lists all those local men known to have fought in the war, and focuses on a few of those individuals who lost their lives. A Salute to Fetcham by Lyn Rozier and Janice Steele of Fetcham U3A is a tribute both to the villagers who stayed at home in what was then a tiny rural community, and also those who were engaged in the forces. It outlines the sacrifices made by local volunteers, some of whom served as nursing orderlies in the military hospitals and to a particular young woman who enlisted in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps. Struggle and Suffrage – Women’s Lives in Leatherhead 1850-1950 by Lorraine Spindler marks the centenary of the first Parliamentary votes for
40 Looklocal Magazine - February 2019
women in 1918. How did the women of Leatherhead help to achieve the vote that year and how closely had the suffrage movement touched the lives of local women up to that point? The book looks at the daily struggles of local women over a century, considering how education, war, romance, household responsibilities, religion and entertainment all evolved, enabling women to come out from the shadows. Memories of Ashtead by John Rowley and Patricia Jenkins contains interviews with many surviving residents who recall their wartime childhoods in Ashtead in 1939-1945. Among these is TV personality and original presenter of University Challenge, Bamber Gascoigne. As the owner of West Horsley Place today he is still a major local figure and has written a personal foreword for this book. All four books are currently available in selected local shops and will be sold too at Leatherhead Museum when it reopens in the spring after a major refurbishment. For more information on the Leatherhead & District Local History Society and its museum at Hampton Cottage in Church Street, Leatherhead, go to www.leatherheadhistory.org or drop in at one of the monthly lectures every third Friday of the month at the Letherhead Institute from 7.30pm. The Rotary Club Of Bookham & Horsely Making a Difference in the Community Our thanks to the local community from the Rotary Club of Bookham & Horsley The main purpose of our local Rotary club has always been to really make a difference in the community, whilst enjoying the company of like-minded friends. The festive period is key to our annual fund raising, and we rely completely on the generosity of the wider community to enable our plans to bear fruit. The Club sends its sincere thanks all residents of Bookham, Effingham and The Horsleys for their tremendous generosity this Christmas. The total collected during December was just over £4,200 – a fantastic 20% increase on the previous year, despite the nervous economic outlook. This fund-raising will benefit a variety of local charities, plus many families from the local community in need over the Christmas holiday period who receive retail vouchers from us. As usual we made collections at various supermarkets and in the 3 villages in the weeks before Christmas, along with Santa and his sleigh touring local streets and flying in for Bookham Traders Night, which is always a popular sight and generously greeted. This year we added a new Horsley sleigh route, and our efforts generally were very considerably helped by several extra recent Club supporters. We are very much hoping that a number of them may join the Club full-time, having found us during our autumn ‘get to know Rotary’ campaign. Meanwhile our Club has had an active autumn as ever; highlights and forthcoming dates include: • Evening talks at the Club have included a look at the colourful life of the chaplaincy at Gatwick Airport, reminiscences of flying helicopters during the Falklands conflict, and my own recollections of a recent trip to India, compared
44 Looklocal Magazine - February 2019
to my first trip there 38 years ago. Our excellent Christmas meal featured a wonderfully tune-less rendition of the 12 days of Christmas • The previously mentioned Autumn ‘get to know us’ campaign resulted in 30 supporters and new friends attending an information evening at The Grange, which was deemed a great success. We hope to welcome several new members very soon. • Last November’s Saturday morning Bookham Brunch has become an established and popular event in the village community calendar; it was as successful as ever, raising over £1,200 for charities. Many thanks if you were able to support us and come along. Other well-supported autumn fund raisers included our Race Night, plus our regular bridge evening. • Coming up: please support our Bridge Night on Friday 15th February plus our Music event being planned for Friday 10th May. Both evening events will be at the Barn Hall, Bookham. See local press and our website for ticket details. Thanks as always for your support! A really positive experience awaits you at Rotary - whether as a Club member or if you help out occasionally - for example with our Christmas fundraising and supporting our events. Why not join us for a trial Club evening, or simply join our mailing list for occasional updates. •

CHARITY CHRISTMAS POST
Thank you to everyone who made use of the Christmas Charity Post [CCP] again this year. Whilst the value of stamps sold was down about 6% on last year, we still sold £3,391 worth and delivered over 10,000 cards during December. A very good result. Thanks again to the six Area Managers, their volunteers who sell stamps and deliver cards, as well as all the shops who sell stamps and act as posting points. Two thirds of all stamps are sold at local shops. The Area Managers have a very interesting time getting some cards to their destinations, particularly if the card only has a name and no address on the envelope, or if the card is completely misaddressed. This is where their local knowledge gained over many years comes into play. In carrying out some final detective work on cards that the Managers couldn’t find homes for, I particularly want to thank all those who gave me advice on who or where the cards might be for, by answering my posts on Nextdoor. In the end we found homes for all the cards posted Keeping a small amount for costs that will need to be expended prior to next Christmas, we will be able to send £1,000 to three charities working in the developing world. Final details of the charities will be notified in the next edition, once the Committee have had their Close Out meeting. Michael Agius - Chairman CCP

Care Home Fair Profits Boost Hospice
An Esher care home’s residents, their families and friends enjoyed a lively festive fair which raised money for Princess Alice Hospice. The Hospice was chosen by residents to benefit from the event at Arbrook House, a 42-bed home in Copsem Lane, one Saturday before Christmas. A total of £243 was raised by the fair, which featured the traditional cake sale, tombola and raffle along with live entertainment and refreshments. The donation was matched with a further £243 by Bupa, which operates the home. Home manager Jonathan May called in to the Hospice in West End Lane, to hand over a cheque for the proceeds.
50 Looklocal Magazine - February 2019
“We work regularly in collaboration with Princess Alice Hospice – the excellent service supports the work we do at Arbrook House and we are pleased to help fund the invaluable work done by the Hospice,” he said. “It was far and away the popular choice to receive this year’s donation from the fair.” Our picture shows Jonathan May handing over the cheque to Hospice senior social worker Sarah Dowd. “I’d like to add how grateful we are to receive this gift; we depend on donations for the majority of our income – so this helps us maintain vital services across our care area,” said Sarah. Jeep Renegade February Car Review
Jeepers-Creepers! Here we go with a distinct new and updated challenger in the bustling small SUV Crossover segment - the retro-styled eye-catcher, the Jeep Renegade. It has all the makings of a surefire success. After a costly setback in sales a couple of years ago, when numbers collapsed, the Jeep, painstakingly cared for and re-designed behind the scenes has come into full flow with a flair to frighten the rival front runners in an over-crowded market. It’s bid to overtake in the off-and-on-road market of the weenier and firmly established challengers is now solidly underway with a neat and tidy effort produced in Italy as a dramatic change from it’s historic American upbringing and pedigree. Indeed, the first all new Jeep for almost a decade - the first built outside the USA,
a clever and astute collaboration of US and European designers and engineers. Their radical thinking and painstaking concerns as to the public’s interest is superbly reflected in the new Renegade, a masterpiece of economy, good sense, comfort and a worthwhile reward for a buyer with a bargain £18,740 to spare for the starter model. After shifting the Jeep design and manufacture from the USA to Melfi in Italy, to arrest the dramatic decline in sales, the Fiat/Chrysler overlords have hit a new chapter in the success story - and it looks all set to run and run. It will most assuredly put on their guard, the established likes of the hot rivals Mini Countryman Renault Captur. By Ted Macauley

RHS Calls for Wartime Veg Plot Photos The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is calling on people to submit photos of their wartime vegetable gardens as it gets ready to mark 80 years since the outbreak of World War II and the Dig for Victory campaign. The charity will display advisory material and wartime propaganda that inspired people to grow more food to supplement ration-book diets at its library and gardens in the autumn and will include photos of families’ own gardens and allotments. The RHS began working with the Ministry of Agriculture on the Dig for Victory campaign at the point at which war broke out in 1939, having already begun making detailed plans in preparation for war in
1938. Advice was distributed via pamphlets, leaflets and exhibition packs that toured towns and villages across the country and included guides to cultivating

vegetables all year round, the storing of produce and making a compost heap. With wartime shortages gardeners had to show a great deal of ingenuity, creating vegetable plots in unlikely places. Employees at the Wolsey Motors in Birmingham made cloches out of scrap car windscreens for their workplace allotment. By 1943 it was estimated that around 55% of households were growing fruit and vegetables and their efforts made an important contribution to the nation’s health. Fiona Davison, Head of Libraries and Collections at the Royal Horticultural Society, said: “RHS information and advice helped get a nation growing at a time when food supplies were at an historic low. Many are likely to recall parents and relatives turning previously unloved plots into efficient and prolific green spaces. We’re asking the public to share those pictures and memories with us so we can celebrate the contribution of gardening to our wartime history.” Photos and additional information for the Dig for Victory exhibit should be sent to libraryenquirieslondon@rhs.org.uk. Dig for Victory will be on display at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey, RHS Garden Rosemoor in Devon, RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex and RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Yorkshire from 14th October – 17th November. General Crime daytime burglaries
Over recent years, I have become increasingly aware that burglaries are taking place during daytime hours, rather than in the evenings after dark. In the past, I have tried to emphasise the importance of making your home look occupied if you are away or going to be out during the evening. I have always (and still do) recommended the use of timers to bring on lights in your house, preferably in a staggered pattern to convey and impression of occupancy and movement. Daytime burglaries, however, generally appear to be opportunistic in nature and when an insecurity can be found in the property, enabling the burglars to gain access to the ground floor of your home, preferably at the back of the house. It seems that would-be burglars actually knock on the front door or ring the bell to see if anyone is at home. If the occupant answers, they will ask for directions for somewhere local and be on their way. If there is no reply, they then look for ways to get in. It is very important, therefore, to restrict access to the back of your home. If you have a side gate, please make sure that it is bolted securely, preferably at waist height on the inside. A padlock is also a good idea. If your side gates and fencing are not very high,
it’s worth considering adding some trellis on top to deter climbing. Also, remove any climbing aids, such as wheelie bins, keeping them on the other side of the side gate except on collection days. You could also consider filling in any gaps in your perimeter security with some defensive plants, such as pyracantha, holly, berberis or hawthorn. If there is no soil in which to plant these prickly shrubs, they can be grown in large pots, weighted down at the base with two or three bricks. It is nearly always the case that, if you make it difficult for someone to gain entry they are likely to leave and try somewhere else. Obviously, the sight of a visible intruder alarm is always going to be a strong deterrent. Modern alarms are much more reliable than may have been the case years ago. Many are wireless systems and current legislation relating to noise pollution means that they have to re-set after 20 minutes of a “false trigger”. I often suggest that, if you are looking into having an alarm installed you should consider asking for some quotes from local smaller firms. To me, this makes sense as it is important for local businesses to develop and maintain a good reputation. From experience, I have also found that local companies can offer very competitive pricing.

HOME WANTED! Peter
Peter is a delightful,13 years young male who came into our care as unfortunately his owner was taken into hospital long term. Peter is a very calm, friendly and sociable cat. He thrives on human affection and would need to be in a home where someone was around a reasonable amount of the time. To really enjoy his final years Peter would do best in a home with no small children or other cats. If you feel you can give Peter the loving forever home he so desperately deserves please call Rosemary on 01737 350307 Epsom Ewell & District Branch http://www.epsom.cats.org.uk
If you cannot adopt a cat but would still like to help us please go to https://www.justgiving.com/Epsom-CatsProtection
As we have around 7,000 cats and kittens in our care at any one time, we will find you the perfect feline friend. www.cats.org.uk Reg Charity 203644 (England and Wales) and SC037711 (Scotland)
