WHAT SPECIALIST IS RIGHT FOR ME? MANAGEMENT You’ll develop a strong understanding of the key business subdisciplines while gaining expertise in your area of interest. This specialist offers a high degree of flexibility, and you can choose to further specialize by doing a Focus in one or more of the following fields: Finance; Financial Statement Analysis; International Business; Leadership in Organizations; Marketing; or Strategy and Innovation. FINANCE & ECONOMICS This specialist offers rigorous training for careers in finance and capital markets, such as investment management and financial analysis. As a program partner of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute, our curriculum covers the internationally accepted body of knowledge required so that you’re prepared to take the CFA exams. ACCOUNTING This specialist prepares you for a career as a professional accountant. You’ll develop both expertise in accounting and a deeper understanding of the different businesses and business environments you’ll work with as an accountant. LEADING ACROSS DIFFERENCES An important part of being a leader is being able to effectively navigate differences within and across an organization. In this course, you’ll establish your own leadership stance and learn tools to leverage differences for impact. You’ll focus on how diversity and inclusion can directly impact organizational strategy across sectors. Thought leaders, executives, and practitioners from a variety of organizations will bring their unique perspectives and insights to the classroom to deepen the learning experience.
SPORTS ANALYTICS Apply data analysis concepts to sports! In this course, you’ll have the chance to do your own data analysis using data from a variety of sports, and you’ll learn how econometric analysis can help measure player performance. Guest speakers from the sports industry will share their experiences about how data analytics can be used in sports.

BEHAVIOURAL AND EXPERIMENTAL ECONOMICS Behavioural economics might best be described as a movement: an effort to incorporate the insights of other social science disciplines to appropriately modify and augment the economist’s traditional assumptions about human behaviour and preferences. This course concentrates on the intersection of behavioural and experimental economics. You’ll look at controlled experiments that seek to uncover and quantify systematic ways in which people deviate from traditional assumptions.

MONEY MATTERS SCHOLARSHIPS All high school applicants to Rotman Commerce are automatically considered for most admission scholarships based on their academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and eligibility. Some scholarships and awards require a separate application. Rotman Commerce applicants are also eligible for a number of University-wide scholarships. Major U of T scholarships requiring nomination include the National Scholarship for Canadian high school students and the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship for international students.
