Celebrating 40 years of Derngate
The Big 4-0 is such an iconic number and we are proud to be celebrating such an important year for the Derngate. A space with so many stories as we celebrate with a programme which is bigger and better than ever. For the first time in many years our Made In Northampton series moves on to the Derngate stage with an Agatha Christie classic, And Then There Were None, reuniting the creative team behind the smash-hit Love From A Stranger including director Lucy Bailey. As they did first 40 years ago, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the Derngate as we reintroduce our popular Orchestral Season - alongside Sinfonia Viva and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert season tailored for all musical tastes. There is so much more to shout about as we prepare to launch an important fundraising campaign, culminating in a 40th extravaganza evening of variety and local community groups all hosted by a well-known face. Please do visit our website for further details
But it‘s you, our audiences, who we thank the most. Your support is invaluable to us as we look to a future where we continue to entertain, to inspire emerging talent, to encourage the next generation of theatre goers, and provide a home for all our local communities.
