In this concert of Romantic masterpieces, Natasha Paremski (pictured) joins internationally renowned conductor Paul Daniel to perform Schumann’s Piano Concerto. The evening concludes in a flourish with Dvorˇák’s Symphony No.7.

The RPO’s Principal Associate Conductor Grzegorz Nowak (pictured) conducts Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture and Brahms’ passionate First Symphony. The highlight of the evening will be Beethoven’s Violin Concerto performed by celebrated violinist Robert Davidovici.

International star Tasmin Little (pictured) joins Grammy Award-winning conductor Bramwell Tovey to perform Bruch’s glorious Violin Concerto No.1. Bizet’s spirited and lively L’Arlésienne Suite and Tchaikovsky’s ‘Little Russian’ complete the evening’s programme of Romantic masterworks.

Tuesday 12 November 2013, 7.30pm Barry Wordsworth Conductor Yoon-Hee Kim Violin Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto Tchaikovsky Swan Lake (excerpts) Renowned conductor Barry Wordsworth takes the helm for this all-Tchaikovsky programme. The string section come to the fore in the passionate Serenade for Strings, but the centrepiece of the evening is Tchaikovsky’s exceptional Violin Concerto performed by South Korean virtuoso Yoon-Hee Kim (pictured). Excerpts from the enchanting Swan Lake, with its memorable melodies and spellbinding themes, complete the evening.

Thursday 28th November 2013, 7.30pm Christoph Koenig Conductor Jamie Walton Cello Ravel Le tombeau de Couperin Elgar Cello Concerto Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5 Internationally renowned English cellist Jamie Walton (pictured) joins Christoph Koenig to perform Elgar’s haunting Cello Concerto. Its lingering melodies and stirring themes perfectly complement Tchaikovsky’s celebrated Fifth Symphony and Ravel’s colourful Le tombeau de Couperin.
