Document submitted to Gadbois Management, relating to a claim made against him, in part: “For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, this will confirm the tolling of any unexpired statute of limitations…as of and from and after December 9, 1968.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter from Hollywood lawyer Martin Perlberger to Norman Gary, December 11, 1968, directing him to have the document “signed by Marlon Brando” and then returned. Starting Bid $200

Two medical documents signed by Marlon Brando: a “Cast Insurance Medical Certificate,” one page, 8.5 x 9.25, November 15, 1991, for the production of Christopher Columbus: The Discovery, outlining his medical history and various ailments; and an associated “Physical Examination” document, one page, 8.5 x 5, noting his general appearance as “Obese” and listing vitals such as his height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure. Both signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Brando. In fine condition. In the film released for the 500th anniversary of Columbus’s voyage, Brando played Tomas de Torquemada, the Grand Inquisitor. Starting Bid $200

Vintage mattefinish 8 x 10 half-length photo of Fields posing with a cane on his shoulder, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, with Fields adding the inscription along the cane, “To Ray Sperry, Best wishes,” and his name on his pocket square, “W. C. Fields.” In fine to very fine condition. Ray Sperry was an actor and a stand-in for child actor and classmate Freddie Bartholomew in the movies Little Lord Fauntleroy (1936), Captain Courageous (1937) and others. Agreement between Muppets, Inc. and puppeteer Jerry Nelson, in part: “We hereby employ you as a puppeteer in connection with all of the new programs for the 1970–71 television season for the television series entitled ‘Sesame Street.’” Signed at the conclusion in black felt tip by Jim Henson, and in blue ballpoint by Jerry Nelson. Document of “Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Shareholders of Solar Productions, Inc.,” outlining various resolutions adopted including that Robert Schiller, Steve McQueen, and Neile McQueen are elected as directors of the company, and that the company agrees to a contract with Warner Bros. for six feature-length films.
