NBA player contracts relating to the St. Louis Hawks and their move to Atlanta in 1968, each one page, 8.5 x 11, May 10, 1968. Each document is a “Uniform Agreement for Assignment of a Player’s Contract to or by Club,” between the St. Louis Hawks Basketball Club, Inc., and Atlanta Hawks Basketball, Inc., for the following players: Lenny Wilkens, Skip Harlicka, Zelmo Beaty, Jim Davis, Bill Bridges, Joe Caldwell, Lou Hudson, and Paul Silas. Each contract is signed at the conclusion by NBA commissioner J. Walter Kennedy, and countersigned by representatives from both teams and two witnesses. In overall fine condition. Starting Bid $200

9187. Muhammad Ali Training Worn Mouthpieces Training Mouthpieces. Everlast mouthpieces personally-owned
and -used in training camp by former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali in the mid 1970s. The off-white rubber mouthpieces both feature raised text on the underside: “Everlast, Everguard.” In very good condition, with expected signs of wear and age. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the daughter of the Wali Muhammad (Youngblood), the longtime assistant trainer and cornerman of Ali, who affirms that the “mouthpieces used by Muhammad Ali…[were] a part of the collection of my father.” Provenance: Heritage Auctions, Sports Collectibles Muhammad Ali Platinum Night, September 2016.
