Background

GOALFISH is a goal setting model and process began its first steps way back in 1999 and was born out of frustration for traditional goal setting. It has evolved from a raw concept relating to goal setting, to an approach for creating personal vision and action. It focuses on motivation to improve, change and deal with change. It’s a practice in high performance art with capacity to engage teams and business cultures. From the early stages of a concept based on experiences with athletes, coach and team psychologists. It has been a key element for enable sustainable elite performance over 20 years of elite competition including three Olympic Games preparations. The most recent adaptations and changes in the approach and model have come in conjunction with delivering the model with many participants at Mt Eliza Business School and a range of clients including sporting teams, school teachers, corporate teams and individuals during coaching and facilitation sessions. As a model it has been designed to create shifts in perspective. These shifts are needed to enable greater clarity which in turn allows greater commitment to action and then the obvious flow on of greater impact and effectiveness.
